OoooOOOOooh!
Bobbi Brown’s new CC Creams with SPF 35 ($44 per tube) are supposed to perform a number of beauty feats, from color correcting to protecting your skin from sun damage to evening out your skin tone over time.
That last claim is the most interesting one to me…
“A dream cream for healthy-looking skin — this concentrated yet lightweight formula color corrects, illuminates and protects for brighter, more even-toned skin (instantly and over time).”
I haven’t had a chance to try it yet because when I spotted it at a counter last weekend I was already wearing a full face of makeup (#makeupaddictproblems), but I did swatch them on the back of my hand.
First observation: they seemed pretty sheer and felt like MAC’s CC Colour Correct cream products.
I’m guessing they’ll be good for someone who wants to wear a color-correcting base/illuminator beneath foundation, or someone with great skin who doesn’t really wear a lot of face products and just wants a little boost.
You can find it now at Bobbi Brown counters and bobbibrowncosmetics.com, available in three different shades.

I think CC creams make a nice base under sheerer foundations. Only tried Bourjois so far, yet to try the MAC and Bobbi Brown ones.
Hmmm, I’ll have to swatch these!
Hues looks good and yet to try them!
I’m intrigued by the product, but Bobbi’s prices are way out of reach for me.
Golden Nude looks right up my alley! I have to check it out!
These look interesting might give it a go! Saw a mini size on nordstroms website so that might be my way of testing it out!
Those swatches definitely look interesting… I’ll need to check these out.
I will definitely have to check these out in person. I’m afraid that I won’t fit into their shade range, but the product looks quite nice.
I received a sample of this in the shade Fair (the lightest available in sample range at sephora) and it was too dark for me. I guess in the land of Bobbi Brown fair means light-skinned person with yellow undertones. I wore it around the house anyways to test out the formula, and I have to say, my opinion of it didn’t get much better. I definitely prefer the smashbox BB cream to this one. But ladies darker than myself might like it, who knows. I am holding on to the sample to see if the shade will work for me late in the summer when I’m darker than now.
I’m impressed that although there are only three shades, they’re actually, you know, different! 😛 So many brands just try to release three nearly identical shades, or one shade that’s somehow supposed to work for everyone.
This seems interesting.
I had a sample of the Pale Nude from Sephora, and it looks funky on me. Also reeks of sunscreen. It might look good on someone with different undertones than me though.
I’ll have to try this out. Yay for SPF35 sunscreen!
Yea I would like to test it out before paying out $44 for it. even tho in my eyes Bobbi Brown can do no wrong, I’m not sure I’m willing to pay that much since I love my Olay CC Cream. #winning
