Don’t mind me. I’ll just be in the corner over there rocking back and forth slowly.
See, I need time to deal with the inevitable heartbreak that will strike when I disrupt the gorgeous pattern on these Clé de Peau Beauté Eye Color Quads.
The quads themselves are refill pans that don’t come with a case, and they’re a staggering $55 each. On top of that, the case, which is sold separately, is another $25.
Wow.
The brand is pretty new to me (it’s Japanese, not French, BTW… Who knew?), and I’m looking forward to testing their eyeshadows. Here’s to hoping they lead to luxury makeup nirvana.
For that price…they better.

Cle de Peau is under the Shiseido umbrella, which is why it’s a Japanese brand 🙂 I hear the stick concealer is a cult item, but it’s all too rich for my blood!
Hehe 😀 These look super pretty – I was just having a (sad, kind of) giggle at the price alarm – Chanel quads are like $130 here, LOL. I too have heard that the concealer from this brand is the thing to have!
Ooooh, cute! Very cute!
Way cute! I used to resent the idea of makeup being sold as refills with a palette being a separate purchase. But…(does this sound silly?)…I’m starting to come around. I can imagine the pride in putting in a new refill while having a little conversation with the palette, “I know we’ve been through some sh!t together. You’ve seen some really tough days. That’s why I got you a little something….” *refill clicks in* I smile at the palette. It smiles at me. Fade out. End scene.
Pricey but sooo beautiful!
What the WHAAAAA?! For that price, they’d better come with Jeremy Renner to apply them for me. 🙂
They do look gorgeous, though!
Oh, Happy Friday!!
These look gorgeous! They’d better perform amazingly well for that price, too!
Their eye shadows are one of the most popular in Japan. I use one of the skin care serums and it’s amazing.
Is it okay to just get the refills and not the case then? LOL
The palette is freaking expensive.. but what a beauty… loved the engraved symbol.. <3
Love the pallets but way to pricey for me
