It was awesome! Not very good in terms of gambling but the places I have seen were great. Me and hubby went to see the Cirque du Soleil The Beatles show, it was spectacular. We went to amazing restaurants, had an afternoon tea with little scones and finger sandwiches at Bellagio, I went to a spa for a facial. Did a lot of walking and deuce riding 🙂 All in all tons of fun, it hurt to go back and go back to work!
Sounds like you had a GREAT time. Isn’t Cirque du Soleil so cool? I watched “O” years ago and was blown away by the theatricality of it all. Plus, the performers are just so stretchy, LOL! I can barely touch my toes.
Did you guys hit up any buffets? I swear the Bellagio buffet is OFF THE HOOK.
We did go to two buffets. One was a lunch buffet at The Mirage and it was good but then we also went to a buffet at Cosmpolitan, it is called Wicked Spoon and that was the best food I have ever had. Most of the dishes are served in small individual containers, like a little glasses with shrimp ceviche or a basket with fried chicken, they also have a gelato bar….It was really amazing.
I’m not sure. There was a huge tree in an outdoor mall covered with these flowers. If any botany enthusiasts happen to know what the name is, I’m curious too!
Wow a tree full of these beautiful flowers! How lovely! I may have to show my botanist Mum this photo and see if she knows. I’m not sure if this grows outside in the Pacific NW.
I’ll try to take a pic of the entire tree when I head back to the mall (hopefully on Weds or Thurs). Let me know if your mom can identify it solely from the flowers. If she can, she’s a rockstar! 😀
Northern California has its perks. 🙂 Where I live is about 45 minutes north of San Francisco and it’s very suburban. I like it, but I do miss living in a city. How long have you lived in London? I visited once (back in 2005) and enjoyed it very much.
Yay for spring. Michigan is still very cold though, no signs of spring here yet.
Girlfriend, how was Vegas?!

I’ve heard about the Wicked Spoon! Good thing to know that it’s really all that. I need to go next time I head to Vegas.
Gosh, I’m so hungry right now!
You do great nature shots, Karen, beautiful pic!
I see my crocus peeking from the ground! What kind of flower is in your photo. A lily?
Hi Rose,

Unfortunately, my state is still buried from Nemo. However, I can’t wait for spring and the beautiful weather!
Where do you live Karen? It’s ok if you prefer not to tell.
Hi Ra,
Northern California in Marin County. This pic was taken in the town of Corte Madera.
Lucky you, California must be a fantastic place to live. It’s not that I don’t love my London. I do!

Beautiful pictures, Karen! I think I’m going to look at them frequently on Thursday since we are expected to get 3-6 inches of snow here in Missouri!
Thanks, Brooke. It was rainy, cold and overcast here in Nor Cal this morning, but now the sun’s out, so I’ll send some virtual sunshine your way.
