Surf’s up, babe! Hola from from La Jolla. Haven’t gone surfing yet because when Cindy and I arrived yesterday afternoon we were pretty wiped out already from the flight and just wanted to relax.
The following pictures pretty much summarize the trip so far. As you can see, food plays a big part. 🙂

Lucky girl! I bet Tabs misses you! I’m sure he would be especially jealous of the fish tacos!
Ohh, it looks so relaxing! Enjoy your vacation!
Looks like you’re having fun, girl! You deserve it! Enjoy!
Two or my favorite restaurants in the area are Georges at the Cove on 1250 Prospect and Barbarella’s at 2171 Avenida de la Playa both in La Jolla of course.
Have a great time!

Have a great time Karen! I spy a lot of Neutrogena in your makeup bag 🙂
Ooo! Hope you have fun while you’re in SD! Keep an eye out for the leopard sharks in La Jolla, they’re pretty cool and friendly. ^^ I’ve been meaning to go snorkeling again so I can see them. 😀
Love your makeup bag! Where did you get it?
Hehe, isn’t it funny how food is always a big part of trips and holidays and family outings 🙂 Great pictures, Karen, thanks for sharing them with us!
I just recently moved to Hawaii from San Diego, and I really miss my fave restaurants, like Prep Kitchen!
I love this post…yes, any day at the beach is a great day!
Too bad we’re not having really great weather, I hope it will be better during the week-end! Have you been to the Torrey Pine beach yet? It’s really beautiful there. If you’re ready to spend some $$ there’s an amazing fine dining restaurant in Del Mar called The Market. The food is excellent and inventive, trust me I know good food when I taste it (hey I’m French!).
Too many neutrogena pro here 😛 Enjoy Karen 🙂
