I admit, I’m more of a fruit-crepes kind of gal. But every now and again, I just really need a good plate of French Toast. (Not stuffed, though; or even with fruit added. That takes away from the french-toast-yness and Is Sacrilege.)
Best when I can have it with real maple syrup, or boysenberry syrup.
Oh I looooove French toast! Here we make it with baguette from the day before. It’s a great breakfast treat and I like the fact that it reduces wasted food 🙂
I LOURRRRRRRRRRRVE French toast!! My mouth is watering as we speak!! I want to go to this place for brunch in NYC that has get this…dulce de leche french toast…I die!!
We had French Toast for dinner last night. YUM. Mine wasn’t as good as his, seeing as I have to use gluten-free bread, but it was still amazing – with real maple syrup and bacon on the side.
There’s a gluten-free bakery about 20ish minutes away with gluten-free challah that would probably be amazing for French toast.
I pretty much just love breakfast food… crepes (the best food ever – and they have buckwheat ones in Brittany, which makes me miss France even more), waffles, eggs, etc etc.
Oh, absolutely! I LOVE french toast, dripping in maple syrup. I think we often neglect breakfast, which can really be something special and relaxing we can look forward to…

YES YES YES! I loooove french toast–especially Coast Toast, which is a soufflé-like french toast that this place near the beach makes. Mmm…I think maybe I need to plan a day to go sometime soon
