Most of the time when I get to the register at Sephora and the sales person asks, “Would you like to redeem your points for this set of glosses/hair products/knuckle hair remover?” my gut reaction is “No thank you,” since I am a “points hoarder.”
Yes, I’ve been officially diagnosed, and no, there is currently no cure in Western medicine. I will cling to my points until the apocalypse, honey. 🙂
Also, rarely do those kits ever move me.
Oh, but this one by Marc Jacobs certainly did, ooh la la! I gave up — gulp — 1,000 points for the Love and Lust 2 Piece Lip Set.
It has two new full-sized lip products, both limited edition shades. Love Marc Lip Gel in Cabaret 146 is a rich wine, and Lust for Lacquer Lip Vinyl in Shooting Stars is a warm shimmery plum.
I feel like I’m still too deeply invested in summer to wear either shade right now, but soon…

I wish I had 1000 points for that one! It looks amazing. I did manage to snag the Laura Mercier one a couple months ago and that one was worth every last point! I don’t think I’ll ever use up all of that marvelous highlighter and I found my new favorite primer from it. 🙂

I’m so jealous! I’m just the opposite with my points, I need to be more of a hoarder. I saw the lipstick is available for purchase for vibs, I think I may get it because I am a huge fan of wine/berry lipsticks and this looks gorgeous!
Gorgeous! I’m a points hoarder too 🙂 Mainly because I realized I spent $100 and didn’t feel like getting a 1-2x use moisturizer sample. The last big cash-in was for a Living Proof set that I actually am getting a lot of use out of and I’ve fallen in love with the brand 🙂 The colors in this MJ set are simply divine. Enjoy!
I’m glad Sephora is offering better rewards. This set will set you back some points but the lippies are beautiful. I love how the lipstick looks on your complexion!

I once had a Sephora gal ask me if I was saving my points up for a new car. 🙂 I hate the thought of using them for something I’m meh about and then seeing something I love and could have gotten if I’d waited. I would TOTALLY have used 1000 points on this duo. Thank you for not doing a FOTD with them, which would have put me right over the edge!
