Have you partaken of the pinched, paper-thin goodness that is the Pretzel Slim?
I found these at Trader Joe’s last weekend, and they’re my latest “Best snack EVER!”
They’re thin, salty and crunchy like potato chips, but they’re much lower in calories and not greasy. One serving of 23 Slims is just 110 calories.
That’s pretty good.
Another good thing, the ingredient list is short and sweet — wheat flour, sugar, salt and barley maple syrup. No preservatives, and they’re fat free.
The shape makes ’em perfect for dipping. I had them for my afternoon snack today with a tablespoon of peanut butter.
That’s all kinds of yum, yo.
I had them with a delicious cup of sweet peachy Bonita Peach Rooibos Tea from the Spice and Tea Factory.
I didn’t even need to add sugar. Delicious!
Oh, and while I was eating, Tabs was staring up at the drapes. For a long time, which he’s been doing for the past couple of days, and El Hub and I cannot figure out why.
Is it a bug? Something else he sees up there? I don’t know, but we’ve looked, and there’s nothing there. He just stares and stares and stares…
It’s kind of freaking me out.

I found a cute little thing at the regular grocery store. It is a mini bowl of Sabra hummus with those pretzel thins things in a separate bowl on top, so you have a nice little snack to go with pretzel thins and hummus without having to spoon out your own portions!

Karen you always ring my chimes talking about all the good food at Trader Joe! Wish we had one in Tampa! Blaow stares at the thin curtains on the sides of my front door all the time.
Those look like Pretzel Crisps! Which are tasty, but not gluten-free, so a no-go for me.
Cats are so weird! Jiji was staring at a specific spot on our couch the other day, and I found nothing weird about it. He’s pretty into bugs, but with the crazy cold Polar Vortex, we have none of those (the upside to winter…) We kept getting yellow jackets last summer, and he’d try to pounce after them, despite my trying to keep him away from them because I don’t want my baby getting stung!
sometimes the dogs at home just howl and howl at something ‘around’ the trees in our yard. we look and there’s nothing there. we think of is as part of their guard dog mode, and move on.
