I saw these, too. I bought them in black during fall, but I honestly LOVE them in cork. Can’t get more neutral than that for spring/summer.

Huh. It’s a cute idea, but I can’t decide! I think I’d have to go with “nay,” but I’m sure that they could be rocked if worn with the right outfit — and attitude! You could totally pull off those heels 🙂

nayyy :\ i’m not a fan of cork, it looks weird. especially on shoes and normally it doesn’t last very long- all my cork wedges have died pretty quickly.
I think I’d have to see them in person to appreciate it!

Hehe, I like them. They’re strange, but pretty cool. I remember seeing a Louboutin version of these a while ago http://thegreenloopblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/christian-louboutin-cork-sandal.jpg (lol “louboutin cork” is a weird google search). They’re pretty similar!

Yay, they are so so strange and awesome. I like that the silhouette is pretty traditional and just the material is unique. I gotta say thought that I like the Louboutin version a little more (perhaps that is just the red sole talking though).

I like them, the cork finish is unique and interesting. The texture is the first thing I noticed.

i like em! they are just different enough to be unusual, but not so obviously wacky. plus, like someone else said…they are the perfect neutral.
Hmmm…I’m not too sure about these. Maybe for a wine-tasting trip to Napa? (haha) I wonder if they make a “cork-popping” noise with every step? I think if you’re the type of girl who lives on the edge fashion-wise, they’re fun. Yet, if you tend to be more classic in taste, I’d stick with the wine and forget about the cork.
Hmm – nay for me. Too weird rather than outrageous. I’m more into outrageous! 😀

Hey….I love this article, but not really the shoes…and I sssooo love shoes. I can’t ever have enough. I do like the shoes in the OTHER window though…lol Somethin with the whole cork look, but I am sure that they are adorbal in another color. Of course, once I got them on…you probably wouldn’t be able to pry them off my feet…lol…. I like the heel hieght, with the platform as well.
I think they’re hot! But I just don’t know if I’d actually put them to use…
