Definitely rambutan! I live in the PI now, and we’re practically done with rambutan season now that the weather’s getting cooler. And I’m even more stoked to see rambutan with that gorgeous red color and flaming spikes on Hawaiian soil!
Ooh you are in my favorite mall ever – I was there on opening day in the early 80s and have been there hundreds of times. And I didn’t know they had a Farmer’s Market there!

Yes, that’s right! They are rambutans! And they are some of the tastiest fruits I have ever eaten, and we have plenty here during the season. 😀
They are called Rambutans 🙂 love these and lychee and mangosteen……yum yum amazing fruits. Although the pongy Durian is my favourite hehe.

Yum, Rambutan! I had those back in Manila. They’re really cheap over there and much juicier than lychee.
