Good morning, fellow makeup lover! Today, my colleague and I are wearing the same lipstick, a creamy pinky brown by Laura Mercier called Nu Prefere, and, quite frankly, I think my colleague’s lewk is so much more interesting than mine. ?
New Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer
If you’re a Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer fan, 1) CONGRATS, because it’s one of the best tinted moisturizers out there, IMO. The coverage is even, and it looks like legit real skin. Plus, they’ve just expanded their range to 20 shades!
The one I wear is called Wheat, and it’s the only thing, beyond a touch of under-eye concealer, that I’m wearing as a base in these pics. No setting powder, no smoothing primer, nothing! I think it looks great on its own.

Love Laura’s tinted moisturizer but I get the one that isn’t oil-free, I think it’s easier to blend over my aging skins ?
Have a fun swim! It’s a gorgeous day in Maine. 70 and sunny but blowing hard so a bit cool for a swim day.

I love your eye look. I haven’t used one of LM eye color sticks in ages. I was never very good at blending them. Wrong tools perhaps?
I used to use the LM tinted moisturizer back when they only made like six colors and I used to have to blend the two lightest ones to get a match. Not sure what color I would be now.
I hope you’re still writing this blog when Connor is older. I am very curious to see her grow. She’s so curious, free and creative!
Supposed to hit 90 on the peninsula today. It’s Dear Husband’s birthday and I’m kicking myself for not baking yesterday. Sigh. At least I did the prep for the reverse sear steak with salsa verde and a wedge salad with bleu cheese dressing. Maybe I can make the cake for Father’s Day. Hopefully, it will be a bit cooler then.

It’s supposed to be even hotter today. Ugh. I’m wondering if the indoor ice rink has a public skating session today, just so I can enjoy the icy cold. Lol.
You both look great. I’ve been loving the LM Tinted Moisturizer in the hydrating formula for the last few months. I just purchased the shade Nude which is deeper, but perfect for me. I have been wearing a few LM products come to think of it. I love the blush in Strawberry. I also saw the new collection, Rose Glow with some new Caviar Sticks and a highlight powder. Looks pretty interesting.

Hi Karen!! I can’t believe the timing of this post about Laura Mercier makeup!! Just yesterday, I was at TJ Maxx yesterday, and they had a bunch of the Rouge Essentiel lipsticks. They were a pretty good price too!! I really liked the range of colors. I was actually looking at tutorials on YouTube last night, so I could see all the shades. I have one I got on sale at Marshall’s several months ago. It’s called Coral Clair. It’s a great nude peach, but they refer to it as dirty coral, I believe. The formula is truly silky!! I also love Laura’s face illuminator. I have the one called Inspiration. I still have to try their tinted moisturizer, because I’ve heard so many wonderful things about it. And I loved both yours and Connor’s makeup looks!! So cute!!
