I’d heard tell of a goldmine of golden sandal goodness there, so I staked my claim and walked into the store hoping to find a pair of comfy gold sandals I’d be able to dress up or down.
Eureka!

I spent a long time debating between the Kelly & Katie Phyllis Flat Sandals and the Carlos Santana Tone Wedges…
In the end, both pairs won. 🙂 I figured they were different enough, since the Kelly & Katie flats are more of a warm yellow gold, and the Carlos Santana wedges have the rose gold detailing around the ankle (so cute!).
I feel really short in both of them, but eh — I am short (she said, throwing up her hands). I’ll just think tall thoughts.
I think they’re both really stylish, and more importantly, I can actually walk in them, LOL!

Arrgh! I have always, always wanted a pair of gold sandals, but have never found the right ones here. Now it’s Winter, and also my toes have met several years of ballet, so I feel like my gold sandal wearing days might be over 😛
Perhaps some gold ballet flats instead… 😉

I like the Carlos Santana Tandy, theres something natural/hippie-ish about them. That being said, they’re all cute! DSW is so overwhelming though! You definitely have to go there with something specific in mind, and even then it’s hard to make up your mind! Not to mention the purses, tights, socks, etc.
I was able to score 2 dolce vita gold sandals for around $35 shipped in piperlime.com yesterday… Prices went down even more today as low as $10!!!

I have the Kelly and sandals in cobalt blue and I luuurve them!
I have the Kelly & Katie wedges in the white- my dsw didn’t have gold! They are fabulous, super comfortable and great sparkle, especially in sunshine! I took them to a wedding last weekend to wear after midnight when my feet give up on high heels- that comfortable!
