Do all boys love mint chocolate chip ice cream? I swear…I think they do.
I love mint, too, but not so much the ice cream (I’m more of a dulce de leche/pistachio gal). I’m all about the wearable forms of the color. 🙂 There’s just something so fresh and springy about mint clothes and accessories.
I actually wore this outfit yesterday, so officially it was my outfit of the yester-day, and not my outfit of today (I’m still decided on that). I wore it to the doctor’s office (clean bill of health, woop-woop!), and now that I think about it, the mint in the lacy top slightly resembles the color of the scrubs I used to wear when I interned at a hospital about a billion years ago…
I’m also wearing my new favorite jeans in this pic, the terrifically soft, uncommonly comfortable LOFT Modern Skinny Jeans. The fabric has a bit of stretchiness to it, and it maintains those stretchy powers as the days wear on, so by the end of a long day, the jeans are still effectively stuck to my bum and not hanging off it (always a good thing).
I also like the moderate distressing on the thighs.

Although not without a fight. They weren’t the easiest things to put together because they’re steel and heavy, and now there’s a huge dent in the wall (and a smaller dent in El Hub’s head where he got bumped).
But at least they’re up! Yay for small victories!

It depends on how you want to wear it. I ended up going down a size because my regular size was out. This is probably a little more fitted on me that it would be if I picked up my usual.

We’re having a full week of “May Gray” here, with some rain tomorrow. It’s pretty typical for San Diego, and usually followed by “June Gloom”, lol! That’s the time of year when we can have several gray days in a row. The other 10 months are sunny so no one’s complaining!

Love your outfit. I have the same top but in black. I bought it to wear with a skirt I ordered. The skirt I ordered from Zulily was cute but way too bright so I’m not sure it’s going to work. But now I know it will look cute with jeans.
Oh, the black one is super cute! I saw it styled on the website with a white tan underneath and some shorts. It looked very elegant.
I’ve never ordered anything from Zulily. Do you shop there often? For a while I got stuck on Hautelook and had to stop! It got too hard to resist.
Zulily is hit or miss. I’ve ordered some good things and some not so good things. Shoes seem to be a miss from Zulily. My sister-in-law has the same experience.
Hautelook is definitely better and I like that you can return to Nordstrom Rack. It’s hard to resist both sites….

LOFT is one of my favorite stores – love that they have sales all the time, and their clothes are always of great quality – I still have blouses from a couple of years ago that look the same even today. Did you sign up for the LOVE Loft card, it gets you points and lots of perks. I think there’s a loft outlet store somewhere in Napa – I’ve always found great treasures there 😀 I love what you’ve put together here – the jeans and the shoes are my favorite bits!

It was kind of scary! The main parts of the shelves are made from steel and there were a few hairy moments. But we got ’em up, right? Today, shelves and/or a lamp. 🙂 Tomorrow, WE TAKE OVER THE WORLD.

The curvy petite version are GREAT! I’m not petite, but I love the fit of Loft petite sizes on me, especially when I’m looking for a cropped length anyway. These are slim and look like skinny jeans, but aren’t suffocating. SO comfy.
