I was playing with some nudes the other day (um…I swear, that didn’t sound dirty when I said it in my head) when I randomly stumbled upon it, and now I’m in lurve.
It’s kinda beige-y and peachy, with the faintest essence of a golden tint, and it looks clutch-your-pearls amazing with warm orange browns and reddish brown eyeshadows.
Please. Try it. And let me know what you think. 🙂

Oh, I’m so happy that you like it! It’s one of my favorite colors too. It’s a great layering lipstick, especially with the classic MAC Lipglass/Lip Liner shades.

Very pretty. I need to start using my Velvet Teddy as a couple of the nude MAC’s I usually use are getting pretty low. I don’t have that Fenty gloss but I could probably find some similar in my arsenal. I only have a traincase full of lip products!
Good for you for keeping your lip color collection streamlined. They’re my weakness so I tend to hoard lipsticks, liner and gloss. ?

It’s one of my fave things from the Fenty line. 🙂 I hope you like it because it’s quite flexible!
Every time I’m in Sephora I swatch that Fenty gloss on my wrist and I think “Maybe I should get this”. But I rarely wear gloss, so I think it would be a waste. Velvet Teddy is pretty, why have I never seen this one in person? I have a bunch of empties to return to MAC, so maybe I’ll pick that as my next lipstick.
That’s a lovely combo on you. It would be perfect with really dark, smokey eyes, too.
As soon as I saw the title I thought: heyyyyyy, I have those colours! Yay! Tried it as soon as I got home from work. I likes it, I do. Such wearable. much wow. So loves (the doge meme just popped right in there). I never quite liked velvet teddy – just a tad too rosy on me, but the gloss just makes everything work. I know what I’m wearing tomorrow ?.
I can’t remember if I own Velvet Teddy (confessions of a makeup hoarder) but this is a beautiful combo on you! I’m actually wearing glossy bomb over Twig today and I think it’ll become my new everyday lip.
