Aloha, girls! Did you know that Hawaii is the only US state in which coffee is grown?
El Hub and I are really looking forward to seeing our family. My in-laws live in a town called Kaneohe on the Eastern side of the island of Oahu. It’s the wetter side of the island than the South side where Waikiki Beach and Pearl Harbor are, but that makes it lush and fragrant.

I love to take my penultimate eye liner on trips.
I recently got married and went on my first international flight for my honeymoon (10 hours in the air total). I forgot to bring any lip moisturizer, and instead the only close alternative I could find in my bag: Mac tinted lipglass in C-thru it worked great on my lips! Love it! 🙂

I am mostly a drugstore cosmetic girl but I did cave in and got 2 MAC products – I have one tube of the new Viva Glam I V which is a dusky pink that I feel is perfect for my skin tone. I also have the MAC Just a Pinch Gel Blush – which I love. Between these two, I would take my Viva Glam I V if I could only take one of them on vacation (id love to take both, mind you!) — I feel like a good lipcolor pulls the sunkissed, healthy look that a vacation gives. I wont need cheek color – my cheeks will be kissed by the sun! The pinkish lipstick will just pull that look together and im pretty confident I will glow!

Truthfully, I don’t own any MAC products because I just recently had an interest in cosmetics. Surely, MAC has a lot of products and they are quite pricey too. I’m trying to look into it more to see which would match me and suit me more before I order (since the only way for me to order is thru the MAC website).

I’m so not a MACaholic…anyway you know I really tend to take a lot of makeup with me on trips…If I had to pick one thignsd from my MAC stash that I would be most likely to take along though…probably plushlash or blushbaby. I’ll go with bushbaby..because of the whole vacay/swimming thing…and bring some other mascara that won’t leave me with racoon eyes.

I just packed my suitcase for a holiday trip tomorrow 🙂
The first thing i packed was Show Orchid L/s, a great colour, especially when i am getting a nice tan.
It would have to be Shroom eyeshadow, not very adventurous I know, but…it’s very pretty on its own, makes a great base for other shadows or liners, I’m quite pale so I use it as a highlighter on my cheekbones and even mix it in with my pink lipgloss to make a sparklier evening lip.

It works as my blush and lip colour; and, when my eyes are looking tired, I add a very tiny amount to the center of my lids (too much and they’ll look red and haggard). I’ve JUST gotten into MAC stuff . . . I’d probably take my Face and Body Foundation because I love the coverage and how it’s buildable. The MAC stuff I have now is professional, which is not a required look for vacation 🙂
Hm . . . or I might follow Vampy Varnish’s lead and take my Omega shadow for my eyebrows, and use a tinted moisturizer 🙂

I have to have the mineralize skinfinish duo. Powder and highlight all in one, it’s perfect for touch ups. I just wish they’d put a mirror in it.
I have two viva glam palettes, they are great for trips because they are much smaller than carrying lippies, but contain three shades that go with everything. Love it!
Studio Fix Powder! Can’t go without
Karen….I think that you should take every product that you own, in Mac, because you are bound to need them while on vacation. You never know what you will be wearing and what you feel like on any given day or evening so I say take it all, you cannot go wrong.
My son and soon to be daughter-in law will be going to Hawaii next week and I am so jealous. Have a safe and wonderful time.

I ALWAYS bring my Hello Kitty strawberry gloss. LOVE IT.
My MAC Heirloom eyeliner. Goes with everything. I LOVE it.
One MAC product that is pretty great to have with you anywhere is the Love Nectar Lustreglass it is the perfect peachy shade that’s great with any look and it’s the perfect consistency it’s not to thick and it’s not runny either!!!

i would take foundation! i have pretty dark lashes and i don’t really need makeup on them (although i wear it anyways!) but my skin is my week spot. mac studio fix fluid in NW15 all the way! (omg i need to get tanner!)
Now this is tough because my two make-up necessities are both MAC. The Lustreglass in Sinnamon is gorgeous and absolutely stunning. I however I would have to pick the MAC Kohl Liner in Smolder for those amazing smokey eyes and winged eye. 🙂

its my frist TLC but im deff in love with it, it
smells and feels so amazing on the lips.So it would
be the perfect thing to keep lips soft and kissable;)
on trips ur lips can get dry from the weather change.
I never leave home without a Dazzleglass with me. It just makes my lips all glammed up 🙂
I always take my tube of Select Cover-up. I can use it as concealer or in a pinch as a foundation.

belightful highlighting powder is great for trips. on the face, its obviously a beautiful highlighter, but it makes a cool eyeshadow too, and you can use it on your cupids bow for a lip-plumping effect. it’s a great multi-tasking product 🙂 thanks karen! i hope you have an amazing trip <3
I’m a “more is better” kind of girl, but you said one product,,,,,so, I can’t go out with only half a brow, therefore I would have to take my MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Lingering. This slim, but mighty pencil gives me the perfect brow in the perfect color, and it’s my secret that there’s only half an overtweezed brow on each side.

Always keep a travel size lotion in your purse, their is nothing worse than being ashy and not having any lotion.
I just got into MAC since my last trip, but on my next one I will be sure to take my bare canvas paint so that my eyeshadow stays on all day.

I haven’t ever had any MAC either! We aren’t close to anyplace (yeah, we live in a somewhat rural area) that carries it, and I don’t want to buy online w/ out seeing the colors. From the comments though, it sounds like the Studio Sculpt Foundation is a winner!

My MSFN in medium plus is my go to face product when I travel. I can apply it lightly as a finishing powder or buff it in if I need heavier coverage.

I never leave home without one mac lipliner and lipgloss…it’s quick simple, natural makeup.
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural (in Medium) is great for quick touch ups.
My MSF Natural definitely. It evens out skin tone, absorbs oil, and is easy to apply! It’s great to have if you just want one face product.
Definitely MAC pro longlash mascara. Even if I’ve got no other make up on, a little mascara really does the trick.
I alwaysalwaysalways have MAC’s woodwinked eyeshadow on me. It’s such a gorgeous colour, and just a swipe of it with some mascara looks great and is easy for vacation!

I would definitely have to say my MAC mineralize blush in intenso. It can give me color and a sort of bronzer so I at least have color on my face no matter what.
