1. Troubadour Contrast Study Dress from Anthropologie

How cute is this dress!?
I love the open back, and I think the neutral colors would work for lots of different occasions (imagine it with a pair of bright pumps…maybe in hot pink?).
I wish I had a party or something to go to so I had a good excuse to get this cutie!
2. Molly Hatch Mugs from Anthropologie

Hello, inspiration! 🙂 Each of these mugs has a nice little saying on the front.
What a great way to start a morning.
3. Recycled Karma Tee from Nordstrom

Shout-out to my favorite meal of the day, what-what! At brunch you can make everyone happy, because there’s sweet stuff for the sweet tooth-ed folk (like yours truly) and savory stuff for the savory lovers.
4. Anwen Peasant Dress by One September from Anthropologie

I’m usually more into structured dresses, but I really dig this dress’s flow and textured fabric. And I bet the shape and soft pink color would flatter lots of different body types and skin tones.
5. Poverty Flats by Rian Leather Tote from Nordstrom

YARGH.
Not that I need another slouchy tote in my life (even one as open and roomy as this), but this one’s SO GOOD. It’s buttery soft real leather, too.
It’s also big, but not overwhelmingly huge, and it comes with a detachable wristlet that snaps shut for smartphones, credit cards, etc.
Man, I should’ve bit the bullet. I might have to go back to the store tomorrow with my Nordstrom gift card…
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Haha! Every time I enter Anthropologie I want to buy everything 😀
That peasant dress is cute.
Out of my budget though!! eek
i love the dress..looks really nice on you 🙂
So many pretties 🙂
I move in less than 3 weeks from my little hick town village that considers WalMart to be high class shopping, to a city that has ALL OF THESE STORES, and I just drool at the thought of being able to go inside of these stores and see all the things you cool people see. It’ll be like a dreamworld.
Jenny I feel your pain. I live in the boonies of Ontario, Canada, and, Wal-Mart and Sears are the biggest stores here. And, I feel like all the other Wal-Marts and Sears send their stuff that no one wants to our stores, lol.:D
Damn you anthropologie and nordstrom! Why do you exist!
I like the peasant dress from anthropologie.
I love that peasant dress. It’s totally my style…I have at least 2 of those kinds of tops in my closet right now. Hehehe!
LOVE Poverty Flats! I am always looking for faux leather stuff, and recently bought this reversible oversized tote from Nordstrom (purrfect for travel). That t-shirt is so cute! I am going to get one :). I saw something similar that said, “But first, COFFEE” :P. Love your fashion and style choices, Karen-they are lovely, affordable, and very practical.
Did you get anything from the Nordstrom anniversary sale? I am digging the Arcona triad toner pads that i got-so, so good!
I bet that peasant dress would look lovely on you.
Lovely things. Soooooo, did you go back and get the purse? 🙂
Love the peasant dress! Right now aviator jackets are on my wish list, and luckily, Forever 21 has some cute ones for cheap (my el-cheapo jackets from them have stood up to a lot over the past few years). I’m glad to see that faux leather moto jackets and aviator jackets are in style for the fall – it means I will have lots of options hopefully besides just Forever 21. I am really loving that bag, too!
Yeah, I can see why! I’m always in love with Anthro, it’s like a disease!
Okay, this is not about any of the featured items, but I love the seersucker blazer you’re wearing in the Nordstrom photos. Where did you get it?
