1. Matcha Lattes
It’s like the perfect green tea and coffee hybrid! My favorite is the one at Creekside Bakery in Novato. If you ever visit, order an avocado toast along with your matcha latte, and thank me later. 🙂

2. Nikes in neutral shades
I’ve been really into camel and cream colors lately because it’s that much easier to get dressed in the morning when you’re dealing with neutrals. WHO KNEW?
Apparently this holds with sneakers, too. I usually go for colorful ones, but dang, the neutral colors in the Nike Air Max Pre-Day pair that I bought recently go with a lot of different outfits.

Oh, and just in case you’re feeling chilly, there’s a matching sweatshirt!
3. Micellar water and Mr. Clean Magic Erasers
OK, weird combo, I know, but hear me out. When you wear sneakers in light colors like the ones above, they pick up dirt so easily! Micellar water and Mr. Clean Magic Erasers remove scuffs and marks from everyday life. I keep both downstairs by the shoe rack, so I can clean my kicks immediately when I get home.
4. Wondershop Triple Tunnel
If you have a kitty that loves to hide, the Triple Tunnel for Cats is a purr-fect Christmas gift.
It collapses down which I LOVE. We’ve purged so many things from the house in the last six months, and now I’m very particular about stuff not taking up too much space. Purr-fection!

5. Good & Gather Ramen Soup Starter
Bought a box on a whim from Target and it’s absolutely delicious — just the right amount of flavor and not too salty. I add Lotus Foods Rice Ramen (it’s gluten free), a handful of spinach and a runny egg for lunch in less than 10 minutes.

What’ve you been loving lately?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Been loving the Netflix show “Wednesday”. And went on a hunt to find the details on the makeup. Gwendoline Christie is wearing Lisa Eldridge’s Velvet Ribbon on her lips and Jenna Ortega is wearing MAC Nightmoth lip pencil.
Also been loving the retro lava lamp my husband picked up. At first I rolled my eyes, but it’s grown on me when he turns it on every evening.
I have a new insulated 8 oz. tumbler from Kinto that is the perfect size for getting cappuccino from the Venetian cafe downtown. It keeps it piping hot on the 20 minute walk back home.
By Wishtrend Cera-barrier Soothing Ampoule has helped my super dry skin. It’s out of stock everywhere and I’m about to run out. Sigh. I just read some on-line directions and it says to use three drops. Whoops! I’ve been using an entire dropper full. Could be why I’ve run out of it so quickly.
Not sure I’ve been loving it but I know Nibbler has been loving her heated cat house. It has an electric heating pad in the base that keeps it warmer than my ice cold floors. Dear Husband keeps the thermostat at 65 during the day and turns it down to 60 at night.
Okay that micellar water and Magic Eraser tip sounds amazing.
Happy Friday, Karen!
Is that coconut on the avocado toast? Because I’d be down for that.
Also definitely going to try that micellar water and magic eraser tip. I use the magic eraser on my sneakers regularly. I’m sort of obsessive about keeping them looking as clean as possible.
Lately I’m loving the light from my Xmas tree in the living room. I don’t turn on any other lamps. I just light a few candles and it’s so cozy.
Me too on the Christmas tree, Megan!
Hi Karen,
That avocado toast looks like a work of art! It deserves its own Michelin star lol
I also love neutral shoes. I wear them to work all the time because they go with any color of scrub that I have. Mostly white or tan tennis shoes. But mine have to be leather so that I can clean them quickly. I will definitely have to check out the magic eraser technique!
Lately, I have been loving my new iPhone case with squared-off edges from Flaunt, Yankee Candle Citrus & Sage, having my Christmas tree lit up and keeping all of the other lights dim in the room, Acai bowls, and my rhode lip balm which is now my favorite balm ever and will be a staple this winter.
I hope you have a Merry Christmas and that you are smiling the whole day through!
