Rise and shine, morning glory! It’s time to get up.
The crows are cawing, the neighborhood hounds are hounding, and there’s a tabby with hopeful eyes quietly begging for gravy and/or table scraps.
Yes, it’s going to be a beautiful day. 🙂
Did you do anything fun last night? Go out to dinner or see a movie? We ended up staying in and watching Cate Blanchett embrace her cray-cray in Blue Jasmine (here’s the trailer on YouTube).
Wow, what a performance! I’m serious, just call the Academy and have them ship the Oscar to Cate’s house already (I don’t know, though. She’s going up against Meryl for August: Osage County, so we’ll see.). Girl’s got mad skillz.
I thought the movie overall was…pretty good. It’s heavy, and almost more of a character study than a regular plot with a beginning, middle and end, but I enjoyed it. It’s neat to see someone at the top of their craft.
And speaking of creatures at the top of their craft, Tabs says “mrow!” He wants us to get on with this weekend’s giveaway, so we better oblige. It’s not a good idea to get on a fussy tabby’s bad side.
Good luck, and have a great day, no matter what you’re doing. Thank you for stopping by.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

I’m in! I am imprisoned at home with a knee injury, so I could really use a pick me up.
I always take a shower by the way. I don’t have a bath in this apartment. But if I had a choice I’d definitely take a bath more often than a shower. I love a good bubble bath.
Love, love reading all your words of wisdom.
Hi
Well I usually take showers but I love a good bath for relaxation. I like to try bubble bath from body shop. I like the honeymania bath melt.
My favorite makeup remover is homemade! I mix witch hazel, a dash of water, and olive oil! It works really well and doesn’t cause any skin irritation around my eyes. Its a more affordable alternative as well b/c a bottle lasts me forever!!!
It’s my birthday! Just had a massage and now hubby is taking me out to lunch!
I just got a new red lipstick, Dior 988 RIALTO and it is beautiful
Loves your blog!
I definetly have a favorite pair of socks. They’re the aloe ones from Bath and Body Works, and I wear a pair every night with a body butter on my feet.
i am not doing much this weekend, staying home 🙂
I deem myself a lipstick addict! ^_^
My most favorite social media site would probably have to be Pinterest. Not only does it provide me with ideas and inspiration for beauty and style, it inspires me to get off my butt and do a DIY furniture project or workout when I’m bored. 🙂
Taking a 14 hour road trip this weekend! Should be fun… or not 🙂
I’m planning my wedding reception so I went to a winery last night to “scope the location” aka drink wine and listen to music. Does that count as research?
Best makeup remover, my grandmother and mom have always used ponds. So I always dipped into her jar growing up and it’s kept my skin soft and smooth. I’ve tried others but most can never remove the deep dark daily layers of mascara(s) lol and black cat eye that I love.
This weekend, I’m achieving one of my new years resolutions and creating/designing my blog.
I love sledding!
Just finished dyeing my hair and now cooking breakfast for me and my hubby! Nothing on the weekend agenda except to relax, for once!!!
I used to go sledding when I was a kid – we had a nice wooden sled.
I’ve tried a lot of different makeup removers, but I haven’t found a good all-in-one HG yet! I usually use a combination of a cream (or oil) cleanser + eye makeup remover + toner.
So excited about the new hourglass blushes! 😀
Sephora just opened a year ago here in Puebla, Mx. and I’m totally in LOVE. =D
Baths are primarily for when I’m sick.
karen! i hela want to see that movie! i might rent it since The Man is transitioning to nights 🙁 my comedian, louis CK is in it. i love him.
i’m on that instagram now. i like it way better than the facebook. God help us all with this social media and oversharing.
have a lovely weekend! it’s sunny here in the desert. not as chilly as yesterday (65-ish with light winds.).
Loved your blog!
Best (eye) makeup remover: coconut oil!
I pretty much never take a shower, I love my bath!
I wish I could take baths! There’s only a shower in my house, and I’m always drooling over Lush bath bombs and melts.
I don’t even remember the last time i took a bath.
Best makeup remover I’ve tried is coconut oil (or any oil, really).
I’ve never been sledding!
Every year my family goes to our friends house in willamette pass and the live on a huge snowy hill so we carve a sled run all the way from the top of their street to the next one down and my dad comes around to pick us up on the four wheeler. It’s pretty cool. 🙂
I love using drops of olive, argan, maracuja, or a bit of coconut oil to remove stubborn eye makeup. It works like a charm and doesn’t hurt my eyes.
I usually only take showers but if I really wanna relax I’ll bust out the bath bubbles
I just discovered the Coastal Scents Revealed palettes, your review was helpful!
My weekends usually consists of work. Work all Saturday, church and family time on Sunday mornings then work in the evening time.
I don’t take baths anymore but I only have a bath tub so I use it for showers(and I also let a bit of water to remain in it so my feet won’t freeze from the cold tub material).
My favourite makeup remover is coconut oil!
KAren, I have Oscar fever, So far I have only seen a couple of the nominated films. Blue Jasmine is on my list of must see. Love Cate’s work and she is always such a vision on the red carpet!
The honey and I are staying close to home this weekend…another snowy weekend in New York 🙂
Have fun at Ulta!
My fav social media site is Facebook.
I love Neutrogena makeup remover. It’s cheap and effective!
If I take a bath I have to take a shower after to get really clean, is that so weird?!
I like taking baths but on most days I end up taking showers since it’s quick.
I love taking baths especially if I am feeling stressed!
I’ve got a huge load of homework and applications to do this weekend. I don’t mind that much since it’s absolutely freezing outside, but it’s not too fun to be cooped up in the house all day.
This weekend I make snowman with my little cousins and the snowball… jeeeeeee 🙂 😀 happiness happiness happiness happiness <3
Going out to dinner tonight for my mom’s birthday… other than that, just relaxing!
My current favorite make up remover is the new Garnier cleansing oil, it’s amazing, costs only 8 bucks and removes even waterproof mascara without having to rub my eyes.
I <3 Dr. Bronners pure Castile soap for removing makeup!
Home recovering from the second run of the flu in one month (it's been a decade since I've been sick so I guess I'm making up for that). And trying not to impulse shop on the internet but failing at that haha.
I’ve been using baby oil as eye makeup remover!
Last night we had a date night and went to Red Lobster. It was so nice to get out despite the negative degree wind chill, gusty winds and snow. It made it nice to get home too 🙂
I’m spending my weekend studying for my chem and physics exams, which are both on monday (boo). I can’t wait till they’re over so I can finally relax 🙂
This weekend started off with a hike to see cave drawings. They had been somewhat near me and I never knew! Very cool!
I cannot wait for spring to arrive!
This weekend i’m studying for my oncology exam !
I have a pair of those aloe-infused socks. Very nice!
I don’t take bathes but I wish my bathtub was long enough for me so that I could!
We’re having some crazy winter weather here in Michigan so this weekend I’m just staying warm at home. Today I’ve been pretty productive with housework so I think it’s time to settle in and watch a movie. Not much else planned though – thank goodness because I do not feel like braving the artic weather outside!
I swear by foaming makeup remover.
Fantastic Blog, one of the best…thank you!
The best makeup remover for me is just plain coconut oil 🙂
I will be staying in my apartment this weekend because it’s snowing and I hate the snow lol
Im getting cabin fever with this cold weather we are having. Hubby & I just find games to play to weekend instead of being in the cold as that ia what we do 5 days a week working
I’m from the Rocky Mountains in Canada so I was born sledding! Lol! When I was a kid we would “borrow” the plastic trays from the cafeteria at the ski hill and use those to sled down the runs. Not the safest! 🙂
My favorite social networking site is Pinterest because that’s how I found your blog!:D
My favorite makeup remover is my Mary Kay remover 😀
Your blog makes me laugh so much!
Karen,
I would love to see more reviews on Inglot products. I am obsessed with them. : )
Lindey
I always just take showers. I’m too lazy and in a hurry to take baths..lol
This weekend my husband and I are going on our first date since September of last year! 🙂
We have infant twins, so it’s hard to ever get someone to babysit.
Thank you!!
stuck in my apartment in the mountains!
nj became the arctic recently, so it snows all the time now.
but i have my husband, my cat and on demand, so we’ll probably watch movies inside…
I prefer showers to baths at home, because I always end up needing to scrub the bath tub beforehand!
My favorite social network is definitely Twitter but I am starting to like Instagram a lot too! I’ve met some awesome people on Twitter, and it’s great to basically have a personalized news service
I’m a makeup hoarder!!! Love your blog!
I need all of the new hourglass blushes. All.of.them.
I take baths occasionally when I’m feeling really stressed out
Not doing much this weekend, so I’m hanging out at home pinning.

I WISH I could take baths at home, but our house is super old and we’re renting so it’s disgusting. Shower it is! Awesome giveaway!
Do you ever desperately need your nails done but not want to go to the salon and waste all that time? So there right now.
I love your blog and I get super excited when I get your daily newsletter in my email everyday!! It’s definitely a good pick me up for a boring day at the office!!!!
Lots and lots of study…. Great weekend, no?…
I love Sephora!
This weekend I’m avoiding the polar vorex outside and watching Netflix all day!
No baths for me, just showers!
Your comment can be about anything at all, but here are some ideas if you’re stuck:
Do you ever take baths at home (or just showers)?
Have you ever been sledding?
What’s your favorite social network (Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)? I think Facebook, but just because of the chat.
What are you doing this weekend? I think that nothing special only homework, cleaning and relax.
Favorite pair of socks? The ones with blue and grey stripes.
What’s the best makeup remover? Nivea’s sensitive cleansing wipes.
Ooh love that OCC photo, and definitely love Sephora. Thanks Karen! 🙂
I love cozy socks from Old Navy!
I am forever addicted to Tumblr. I’ve wasted the last 5 years of my life on that site. Haha.
This is my first time in USA! Also my first time in university!!!
Hey Karen! I’ve been loving your Youtube lately, so happy you’re back making videos again!xx
I’m enjoying my Saturday relaxing next to the fireplace and watching the snow come down! I am really sick of the artic temperatures and can’t wait to be able to spend some time outdoors!
Jojoba oil removes my makeup well.
This weekend I’m planning lessons and cooking for next week. I’m determined to not get too trapped in the take-out rut, so my method of defense is to cook this weekend and then eat leftover all next week 🙂
MY favorite social media site is Facebook. It’s a quick and easy way to keep in touch with relatives who live far off.
My favorite makeup remover is baby wipes! I swear by them! I personally use the cucumber-scented ones.
I love taking long hot bubble baths with a great book!
Amen to THAT!

Oh yes! I’ve been sledding all my childhood and now I’m teaching my son how to ride a sled.
What am I doing this weekend? It’s the first weekend after the term started, so I’m basically organizing my life and my time. I feel a lot more empowered that way. I also really like your blog and it saves me a lot of time searching the market and reading numerous reviews to find a nice product. Thank you!
I want to win this gift card so I can buy a few of the new Too Faced LaCreme lipsticks. After consulting this blog for the millionth time before every beauty purchase, the color swatches for the new line are making it hard for me to Not buy the whole line. Btw I take showers because the tub water gets too cold too fast. I haven’t gone sledding in years although it’s snowing right now. This weekend I am cleaning my house and writing Ty cards for a surprise bday party my husband threw for me. I use no social media lol. Favorite socks….Victoria’s secret used to carry awesome socks double lined super warm.
MBB also stands for Molecular Biology and Biochemistry! My major! 🙂 x
Love baths at home- and use them to help my old bones after a run and also easier to shave
I am celebrating my 5 year anniversary with my boyfriend today! We are not doing anything too dramatic, just being together at home because that’s all we need.
Thank you for the opportunity!
I actually hate showers. I prefer baths every time. I think the last time I actually had a shower was in the hospital after having my son, because I like baths, even if its just a quick bath 🙂
I love Almay make up remover
I love your blog- especially all of the face swatching you do- it helps tremendously!
I have never been sledding in my life!
i use plain coconut oil to remove make up- i feel like it works better than anything else for me. 🙂
As a knitter I have a whole drawer full of hand-knit socks that I love, but with all the snow we’ve been getting this winter the ones I’ve been most grateful for are my wool-and-alpaca knee-highs with fancy stitch patterns that I can wear over my skinny jeans. I stay warm and my jeans are still dry after I’ve walked to work through the snow!
The best makeup remover? Coconut oil, hands down.
You are just SO good with written words! 🙂 I love seeing your launch reviews. I think I’ve have 2 baths in the last 8 years…
My daily usual makeup is matte and/or smoky winged liner, heavier than average blush and slightly nude lips.
Pure organic coconut oil is the best makeup remover!!
I love instagram the best and then pinterest
Mac’s Japanese Maple is one of my very top favorite lip products, along with Maybelline’s new Blushing Beige.
I actually use 7th generation citrus hand wash as my makeup remover! Then I deep clean with the Neutrogena Microdermabrasion system. My moisturizer: personal concoction of vitamin e, argan oil, jojoba oil, pure aloe and chamomile essential oil.
Oh how I wish I could go to sephora or ulta and be told to just get anything I would like to have free of charge. Wouldn’t that be the ultimate awesome!!
I use jojoba oil as my makeup remover!
I’ve never been sledding. The first time I made a snow angel, I was 20 years old.
Sledding!!! I haven’t been since I was a kid!! But all this snow outside my window makes me want to go!
My favourite for makeup removal is the Shu Uemura oil face cleansers. I remove my makeup and clean my face at the same time. Plus they smell great! and still amaze me every time they lather/emulsify when you add water. Clean twice with this, and even the heaviest, most water-proof, makeup party looks come right off!
My favourite make up remover right now is Cle De Peau!
Hi! About social networks, above all I use Facebook but lately I found out Pinterest is a good way to “store” my wanted beauty products and other stuff in one complete list (photo-list actually) so I find it very useful! 😀
Same here.
My favorite social network is instagram I get to talk/chat with new people who loves makeup also:)
I live in the Midwest and with the weather we’ve been having I have been taking a lot more baths to warm up. I love using either a Philosophy body wash or the Origins Ginger Float cream bubble bath! My favorite makeup removers at the moment are Clinique’s Take the Day Off cleansing balm and the Body Shop’s chamomile eye makeup remover!
I very rarely take baths at home, and the first bubble bath I’ve had in years was last week at a hotel in Atlantic City. It was a huge tub, and it was glorious!
Black socks are boring so lately I’ve been buying lots of patterns. My favourite are animal print socks from H&M. 😉
I love hot showers, I rarely take baths.
I’m going to build a snowman later today! We’ve gotten so much snow this week!
I want to win.
Just trying to keep warm in the east coast with the Polar Vortex still lingering around (: My backyard has a big hill and I have been sledding on it ever since I could remember (:
This weekend has started out great, just went for a hike in some rare Oregon sunshine! Favorite pair of socks, definitely the two-pack merino wool hiking ones at Costco for $9.99 right now. They’re awesome. Go get some. I love Pinterest, I never looked at my bookmarks before but having a visual organizer, and the daily inspiration of beautiful things, is the best!!
Unfortunately I haven’t taken a bath in almost ten years because I only have a shower! Oh how I long for a bath and bubbles!
Today I went grocery shopping (how fun!) and did a little bit of shopping with mom (a gorgeous black leather bag!) <3
hope to win, cross my fingers! XXXX
Happy Saturday! I’m stuck inside studying today.
My current favorite socks are striped Smartwool to combat the cold.
I have never been sledding 🙁
I do take baths every once in a while. I love my Lush products!
I am OBSESSED with Pintrest!
I too must take a shower after a bath to feel clean!
I keep my makeup removal simple, just a little coconut oil and warm water!
It like cold weather, but do not like snow
I’m looking forward to the Spring weather! I’m way too cold!
Weekend plans will be my son’s second bday celebrations. He got a Mohawk hairstyle for his D day . 😀
My favorite makeup remover is Neutrogena® Naturals Fresh Cleansing + Makeup Remover.
I only take baths! It’s just how I’ve always done it and I guess I’m a creature of habit!
I almost never take baths at home anymore! The bathtub at my current place isn’t long enough to really stretch out in and enjoy, so I take advantage when I am staying in a hotel with a sizeable bathtub. 🙂
Hey everyone,
Hi from the frigid Northeast. The weather has been so cold here, it’s sickening! I had to be at work by 7 am boy was it cold! But at least I was able to warm up the car before I left. I normaily work 2nd shift 3-11pm. I work in an inner city ER, and when I leave work at 11 pm in scrub pants, its almost unbearable! Plus I cant warm up the car. I’m almost home by the time my car warms up! So I came up with what I think is a great idea! I put a big pair of baggy sweatpants over my very thin scrub bottoms!! I know a few people who wear leggings under their scrubs but I don’t think that would work for me. The STATIC, no deal! 1 scrub leg up and the other twisted or stuck to me, plus if you get busy and then you’ll get way too hot! What do you guys think of my idea?? Well enough rambling, love your blog and give always and hopefully one day I may win!! Until then I’ll go wash my baggy sweats for the new week coming up…
I love baths but hardly ever have time for them. It’s actually been months since I’ve taken one. I seem to only have time for showers lately.
* giveaways—-> sorry
I somehow managed to break the faucet in the shower, so I can’t take a bath…only showers. This would be fine, except that my little Lola dog has to take showers now, too, which isn’t her cup of tea.
I absolutely love coconut oil. I use it for my face, my hair, my body… I make body scrub and deodorant with it. It is my lifesaver!
I hate taking baths! Showers all the way 🙂
I’m so ready for summer. Freezing everyday. Can’t wait for the spring fashion trends and put some color back into my life.
Lately I’ve been using Lush’s 9 to 5 cleanser/lotion as makeup remover 🙂
I am staying at home this weekend, it’s too cold and snowy!
I always take baths instead of showers because they are so relaxing!!
I take baths and showers. I used to only do showers but realized sometimes..soaking sore muscles helps!
This weekend I am a restless ball of energy. We’ve been shut down about a week for snow. I want to hit the gym, craft, paint, watch Sherlock..practice with my new flat iron and some new makeup techniques. Hoping to fit it all in!
I’m just having a lazy weekend at home with my dogs!
Pinterest is my favorite social network. I love all the pretty pictures! 😉
I definitely have to try coconut oil for makeup remover now. That sounds really cool – easy, cheap, something I have already!
Karen, have you ever tried/reviewed Bite Beauty lipsticks? My lips are SO dry and flaky all the time yet after a day of wearing my favorite Bite lipstick my lips feel like lips. I barely know what that’s like!
This weekend I am seeing my little brother perform with his grade during a performance his school district is putting on with all of the kids in every grade. I’m also doing some errands to get some things before it starts getting really cold out again outside since I might not be able to go out for a few days. Hope you are having a good weekend Karen 🙂
Hi Karen! I LOVE the clinique Take the Day off cleansing balm. It removes my stubborn mascara and leaves my skin so soft . Have a great weekend Karen! Muah to Tabs!!
I love baths they are the most relaxing thing ever!
Happy Saturday!
My favorite makeup remover is Bioderma – Sensibio H2O:
http://www.makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=72125
I tried a lot of different products, but I always come back to this one.
Thank you for the giveaway!
I love Pinterest — So much inspiration all in one spot!
I love taking showers, but I sometimes indulge in a long bubble bath when I’ve had a rough day.
Hi Karen,
Any great products on Etsy you recommend? Have a great weekend!
sledding is so fun!
I love sledding in Central Park!
The best makeup remover and my HG is Neutrogena’s Eye Makeup Remover Lotion-Hydrating. Love it!!
I love taking baths! I use deliciously scented salts from whole foods, I light candles and I love reading and sipping a nice red wine 🙂
Trying to readjust without my bestie who flew back after a 2 wk vacation with me 🙁
I have a major nail polish addiction & own 85 Lynnderellas!
Went out to dinner last night — staying in to watch movies tonight!
I love macs makeup remover wipes!
Hmm, if we had a Lush nearby, I would totally take some baths. I really want to try their bath bombs and bath melts.
Hmm, if we had a Lush nearby, I would totally take some baths. I really want to try their bath bombs and bath melts.
I take baths at home but not anywhere else, something about taking a bath in a unknown tub freaks me out:)
I’m going to work on Sunday. Anyone want to join me?
I take baths at home sometimes. 🙂
Thanks so much for the trailer – I’m getting Blue Jasmine on OnDemand tonight !!! Just the thing for a cozy night in from the cold… 🙂
It is a very snowy day here!
I really need to find an eye makeup remover that doesn’t irritate my skin or make my pocketbook cry. Lately, no matter what I use by about the 4th or 5th day my skin starts to get puffy, red, and sore. I rinse well after, so that really shouldn’t be happening. Ugh!
Would luuuuurve to win this! fingers crossed 🙂
I have never been sledding (or any winter sport, for that matter) but I would love to go! I’ve never seen enough snow for any winter sports =/
Lancome BiFacil is the *only* eye makeup remover to use! 🙂
My favorite pair of socks are some grey ones that have little hearts on them. I bought them for Forever21 and I knew I should have bought more pairs because I’m always careful whenever I wear them (usually around the house).
Also, I saw that picture you posted of the new Hourglass blushes on your Instagram and I can’t wait til you swatch and review them.
Have a great weekend, Karen (and Tabs!). 🙂
I went to Ulta today and bought NOTHING! I can’t believe it!
Just showers, unless I have a Lush bath bomb! O:
Hmmm….I don’t have a favorite makeup remover, though I”m getting a lot of good ideas from these comments!
I haven’t taken a bath in the longest time and I wish I could.
I LOVE TOMMY BAHAMA!!
I don’t take baths at home, only showers – I feel weird taking baths lol
I am soooo tired after horse-back riding today!
I am trying out some new MAC products this weekend.. and that’s pretty much my only “plans”!
Do you ever take baths at home (or just showers)? Yes! Himalayan Salt baths are magical in their healing properties
Have you ever been sledding? No
What’s your favorite social network (Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)? Facebook
What are you doing this weekend? Rehearsal, rehearsal and rehearsal for our play that’s opening at the Ashby Stage this Thursday – yikes! Oh, and laundry!
Favorite pair of socks? I don’t do socks
What’s the best makeup remover? Neutrogena Oil Free
Hours of my life disappear when I’m on Pinterest!
Not so much for this weekend. We just been in our new apartment for one week, so we are still getting stuff out of boxes and getting comfy in the new place. Besides, it’s snowing again! Don’t feel like going out in the cold. Brrr
We stayed in last night (snowstorm, again) and watched Captain Phillips. So good!
My favourite makeup remover is Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm combined with hot cloth cleansing.
Hi karen, hope you are having a great weekend. I usually just take showers. We had about 3-4 inches of snow this morning/afternoon. I have a same day surgery procedure Monday and am not looking forward to fasting the night before!
Hanging out with my little family and going out to dinner with my friends. All long overdue!
Karen Neuman has sleep socks that I just love…so soft and yummy.
I’m just chill in’ this weekend in my pajamas eat in’ some key lime pie watching some “Where are they now” on Oprah network. Doesn’t get too much better than this 🙂
I’d have to say Pinterest is my fave of those social media sites now, because it’s kind of link looking at magazines.
**Correction** I meant to say “kind of LIKE” looking at magazines. Oops!
I shower to get clean, but I bubble bathe to get relaaaaaaaaaxxxxxxxed… Mmm……
Hi Karen!
Hv a nice weekend!
These are my favorite socks. LOL They’re not fashionable, but I wear them under my long black pants at the office, with oxfords. I discovered them “by accident,” *ahem* when I had bought them for my husband who has really big feet and needed some black socks — these seemed like they’d be comfy, even though he doesn’t have diabetes (nor do I). Well, he didn’t care for them, and since I, too, have big feet (size 12 ever since high school), I tried them one day. And oh. My. GOLLY! They feel sooooooooooo gooooooooooooood. I’m glad I can wear them where no one will see them (as described above), because they feel so GREAT!!! When your feet feel good, your whole body does. 🙂 http://www.amazon.com/Dr-Scholls-Diabetes-Circulatory-Binding/dp/B003MWCOLG/ref=sr_1_1?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1390694980&sr=1-1&keywords=dr+scholl%27s+diabetic+socks
So happy with my yarn purchase
I’ve been using Sephora brand waterproof makeup remover for over 10 years and it’s still a fave.
The movie was great I hope cate gets the award and I’m rooting for my boy leo for best actor he’s been robbed too many times!
I’m obsessed with Instagram these days!
Spending the weekend helping my mom prep for Lunar New years and cleaning house
correcting exams, papers and reparation exams from the students.
I love L’elan Vital cleansing oil to remove makeup. It takes off waterproof mascara & liners, all makeup and leaves face moisturized.
My favorite social network would have to be Pinterest! 🙂
I will be moving back to college this weekend for my last semester!! Senioritis is kicking in!!
I never take baths because I live in an apartment-style dorm and even though I only share the bathroom with three of my friends, it’s still disgusting to me!
I grew up in Alaska, and my driveway was a great place for sledding!
I love pinterest, but I always go nuts pinning things that I never go back to! 🙁
I haven’t taken a bath at home in years! My cat, Millie, loves to hop in the tub after I’ve taken a shower to play in the water and I don’t fancy scrubbing out the tub every time I want to take a bath. Such is the life of a cat lady! =^..^=
My favorite makeup remover is Bioderma Sensibio/Crealine solution – I heard about it from Lisa Eldridge and it’s definitely HG status. The tiniest bit takes off ALL of my makeup and it doesn’t irritate my skin at all. The only (really big) downside is it’s expensive to get here in the US (about $30 on amazon) whereas in Europe it’s only about $5 for a huge bottle!
I thought cetaphil was a really meh face cleanser (the gentle skin cleanser).. until I found out it wipes my bb cream off and also eye makeup. wow 🙂 I now use this as a makeup remover. it works nice for a non drying face wash (with no makeup) but a little does go a long way if you dont have makeup on. it removes more stuff if you wait for 20 seconds, rub for a bit and wash off 🙂
My favorite makeup remover is the Take It Off cream one from Hard Candy – you can have layers of glitter on your eyes and just put a little of that on and it will wipe clean off!
I’ve gone sledding a lot, I love it!
My skin isn’t high maintenance. I can wear a cheap make up brand without having any breakouts! (Thank God!) But when it comes to my make up remover, I like it simple. I only use Pond’s Cold Cream! I’ve been using it since my college days! It keeps my skin hydrated and moisturized too! 🙂
I always take baths at home in the winter. Sometimes I’ll make it a bubble bath when I want to feel pampered.
I’m going to the movies tonight which I’m pretty excited about and then lounging around on Sunday.
I love Facebook for “keeping in touch!”
Fuzzy socks are the best 🙂
How much makeup is too much makeup?
I absolutely have a favorite pair of socks! They’re red, pink and purple stripes with a Winnie the Pooh emblem on the ankle. Cute & cozy!!
I got some wicked cool socks from Monki last time I was in Helsinki, they’re mint green with eyes all over them…somehow though recently I can only ever find one at a time, never both when I need them.
Koh Gen Do makeup remover works like a charm!
My favorite social network is Pinterest! I love looking at all the fashion and beauty posts as well as recipes 🙂
I can’t remember the last time that I took a bath – showers all the way for me!
My favorite makeup remover is Dermalogica Precleanse (cleansing oil).
Lancome eye makeup remover
Dinosaurs!
Dinosaurs!
I love baths but don’t have much time for those anymore, so just showers for me.
I like taking both baths and showers. I also enjoy going sledding with my family.
I like a lot of social networks but if I had to pick a favourite it would be Pinterest.
This weekend I’m going to see a Reptile show with my son. Any socks that are fluffy and soft are my favourites.
For removing makeup I like the Vitamin E wipes from the Body Shop the best.
Thanks! FB: Alexia Harvours
I should probably be studying now, but I’ve been reading tons of your blog posts!
oh la la i love your blog! the layout is gorgeous and i hope i win!
Pugs are my favorite dog!!! I am obsessed with them!!
Pinterest is my favorite social media site followed by YouTube.
It’s been snowing all day today. Oh, well, at least it’s not below zero, right?
The weather is so cold! I love seeing the new snow 🙂
hi karen! I’m really loving your new videos. you are so cute and have a great voice! thanks for keepin it real! love ya!
First weekend I haven’t worked in a while and since today’s my birthday, I got a mani/pedi. My parents also took me out to dinner too (Saltgrass…YUM!)
Spending the weekend cuddling my sweet little munchkin! And shopping for Dior nail polishes. 😉
My weekends and most of my weekdays currently consist of studying and stressing over my upcoming nursing licensure exam! I will be happy when I pass (hopefully) and can get a job!! Shopping at Sephora online would be a welcomed stress reliever!
It’s my birthday and my husband cooked dinner =D
I love your blog and all your reviews. Ive really enjoyed reading your posts!
Keep it up! 🙂
You are so brave with those wild OCC lip tars!! LoL
Tonight is bubble bath night – I have a bottle of wine waiting for it.
I got a mini facial at origins and bought the plantscription eye cream. I stopped by shiseido at macys and bought the compact powder spf 36 and ultimate sun protection spf 50. I’m so excited to try them all. lol!!
Tomorrow will be cleaning day… blah!
I am shopping and visiting friends this weekend!
i only take showers because we are in a draught here and it’s gonna be like book of eli in a minute
Looking forward to February and better weather!
Weekend sucked with screaming toddler when we went to aquarium and us not having any lunch because we had to leave as soon as we reached the restaurant since she was still screaming. I hate those days.
I have been trying to take a bath at least once a week to relax and catch up on my magazine reading 🙂
Never been sledding!
It’s been several years since I last went sledding. There’s a golf course close by with steep hills that is a popular place in the winter.
I don’t have the money for Sephora, so winning this gift card would make me so beautifully happy!! Thanks for the giveaway! I hope I’m chosen!
I love good old Bioderma or MAC wipes as a makeup remover.
I’d def purchase Prada Candy perfume with this gift card 😀
I’ve never been sledding before! I would really like to someday. I usually shower, but sometimes I enjoy a nice hot bubble bath when I’m stressed 🙂 My favorite makeup remover is Tatcha’s One Step Camelia Cleansing Oil! Super fantastic, but also pricey D:
No baths because too lazy to wash the tub and now I would feel totally guilty with our CA water shortage issue.
Abolene is the gets especially to remove mascara
Thanks!!!!!
Not doing much this weekend, just chilling 🙂
My favorite pair of socks are calf high ones that I wear scrunched down, because I have fat calves, that are apple green, fuchsia, purple, and beige 3/4″ stripes. I wear them when I need some non-seriousness to get me though the day.
Just went to Chinese New Year Celebration here in Honolulu, fried foods and tons of grease!
sephora waterproof makeup remover 🙂 say hi to tabs for me!
Hubby and I went to Comic-Con in Portland today and it was so much fun!!!
My fave social network is instagram! I love your blog!
I want to give Becca Luminous Skin Foundation a try!
I take baths a lot actually, especially during the winter! I also take baths almost everyday when I am in the last few months of pregnancy (which I am currently in!)
I always thought my house HAD to have a Roman bath, now that I actually have one, it just collects dust…sad 🙁
My girlfriend loves Sephora and I would love to give it to her as a present!
Today I saw Jacob’s Ladder…veeery interesting.
I used to sled a lot as a kid and when my kids were little.
I am on the hunt for a glossy red lipstick that suits pale skin tones, that may read as slightly pink so it can be worn day or night. Something that could be easily found in Europe. Any tips?
I’m looking for a foundation with a dewy finish…thinking I may try Nars sheer glow next!
My favorite social network at the moment is Instagram!
When I have time, I love to bathe. My favorite makeup remover is Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. It works great on my sensitive skin. This week I would like to teach one of my friends the basics of salsa/merengue dancing….just so we could go out and dance to latin music.
I love pinterest, I’m love the visual focus of it. Pretty addicted and found so many lovely things http://www.pinterest.com/colleenbaran/
My socks never match and people think it’s the weirdest thing….who has time to actually sort out and fold socks? I rather be reading, watching netflix, or eating cupcakes.
Thanks, Karen!
Yes to sledding – but snow tubing is better! 😀
Hi Karen, I recently moved to New Mexico and the sun here made me so tan that none of my favorite pink lipsticks suit me any more. I am a bit sad about it. Any way I could fix this problem?
This weekend I am planning out my craft projects. Knitting and bead jewelry are up next.
I like both baths and showers. Just depends on time and mood.
Do you still watch Grimm? That last episode was intense at the end.
Thanks for another great giveaway Karen! Wish I had a bigger bathtub, I love baths but mine is too shallow to enjoy.
my favorite socks are my “fuzzy” socks, especially this time of year! i have several pairs of fuzzy socks and i love getting new ones, when they are super-duper soft & fluffy & extra warm! not sure if i truly have one favorite, though i may be a bit more partial to the pair with my favorite hockey team logo! 😉
It’s been YEARS since I’ve taken a bath, but I’d like some bath time, especially since I can now bring a tablet into the bathroom and cue up some Netflix while I soak…
I’ve been sledding many times, but now I’m too old & sore to do it! LOL
Never been sledding because there’s no snow in South Africa.so will have to try it if I travel to a snow laden country one day.
My favorite social media site would have to be Pinterest!
Best makeup remover is Bioderma!
I love baths, but don’t take one as often as I’d like. Showers are just so quick and easy.
My favourite socks are these socks I picked up from the bath & body works. They’re infused with shea butter apparently. To be honest, I don’t really notice the difference on my feet after wearing them, but they’re really warm and fluffy and you’ll be delighted to know that they have little cat ears, eyes and a nose printed on them. hehe
I’m studying, unfortunately 🙁
My favorite social network is Facebook. I spend a lot of time dividing my time between that , and YouTube.
What a great giveaway! My favourite makeup remover is bioderma sensibio h2o. It’s amazing and always leaves me feeling really refreshed 🙂
I’m starting to use olive oil as an eye makeup remover and it’s a bit messy, but I like how effective it is and I feel good knowing that it’s a natural way to remove my makeup
My favorite makeup remover is DHC’s cleansing oil, the one with olive oil as the base.
Yes I actually just went sledding yesterday 🙂 We get copious amounts of snow where is live.
I am taking it easy this weekend. I’m getting over the flu and trying to get ready to go back to work tomorrow!
I always take showers…even though I moved into a house with a huge jacuzzi tub- I was so excited to use it, but haven’t had the time yet!
We have been snowed in for weeks here in Ohio with below 0 temperatures, snow everywhere!! My skin and hair are SO dry from having to keep the heat up so high and the furnace is running all the time…I could really use this wonderful treat to gift myself some top-notch moisturizers and new makeup to lift my spirtis! thanks so much for running this contest and please, please, please, pick my entry!!
First thank you for this amazing giveaway. The best make up remover? I have to mntion the garnier sensitive wipes and a make up remover totally bio by a company that makes bio cosmetics, skin care products ecc, here in Italy.
Clinique’s Cleansing Oil is the bomb dot com. Too bad it’s an Asian exclusive though; I have yet to see it on a US counter or in Sephora!
I love your blog!
I can’t believe the weekend is almost over already ;_;
I like to use micellaire water for removing my make-up.
I love Instagram and Twitter the best!! Another cold weekend here so we’ve been baking and eating too much! Lol!
I usually shower, but whenI have some spare time I love to have long hot baths using lush’s bath products
I haven’t taken a bath for years at home. When my kids were young, I would occasionally escape into the bathtub, while their dad watched them. I filled the tub up using plenty of bubble bath, then lit candles and incense.
Only showers for me as I’m not a fan of baths. I admit it’s very tempting when I go into a Lush shop and see all the wonderful bath things they have.
This weekend is devoted to dying my hair with indigo and keeping the kids out of trouble!
In my opinion the best makeup remover is Clinique Take the Day Off.
I take baths and showers. But usually showers. I can’t find a bubble bath with bubbles that really last. Suggestions?
hi karen, thanks again for holding a giveaway thats open to international readers! i hope i get to win sometime! xxoo from malaysia
I only take showers. We don’t have a tub in this apartment, and I think it’s like laying in your own filth! Hahaha.
This weekend I just attended the early Chinese New Year’s celebration at my parents’ temple, and today I’ll be having a girls’ day with a couple of my friends! 🙂
We took our kids to Monster Trucks yesterday and had a great time.
I’ve never been sledding (that I can remember)
I take showers, because baths gross me out 🙁
Bioderma is by far the best make up remover!
No plans for the weekend except relaxing!
I love sledding and I usually only take showers.
haven’t taken a bath in ages!
I love baths! I use Lush bath bombs and sit in there with a book. I hardly ever get around to taking them though and almost always just shower.
My favorite makeup remover is Neutrogena Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover
Hey! Having a lovely weekend, baths very rare this days with kids, running around but sometimes I do try to sneak them in, in the question of the make up remover I recently went to tj maxx and they had this bliss make up remover for 5.00 so had to try and it melted my eye makeup I literally had to keep looking for cotton pads to keep removing it it was pretty good, I was like woo maybe even remove make up from last week! Hahaha. to try to answer another question I love all media so basically facebook and Instagram Pinterest are my to go to they kinda go together to me! Is Instagram it, pin it automatically post it, like, share it, a girl have to tell the world love your blog keep it your awsome!
The best makeup remover is definitely Bioderma Sensibio. It never makes my eyes sting, plus it’s a makeup remover and waterless cleanser in one.
I have a separate shower and bath, and I love baths!
To remove my makeup, I like to use neutrogena makeup remover wipes because they just make it so easy!
Winters in Toronto…when I was kid, my dad used to take us “sledding” behind our housing project. We used a big piece of cardboard to get down the hill that lead to the valley! All the kids were doing it but thinking back, what a safety hazard it was!
I’ve never been sledding. Actually, I only saw snow for the first time a few years ago :\
I used to only take baths, but since moving to an apartment with a crappy tub, I now just take showers.
My favorite social network is Instagram!
Hey Karen!! I use Yes To Cucumbers wipes to remove my makeup. They are holy grail status for me, I love them. I’ve really been interested in Josie Maran’s Argan oil cleanser to follow up with after. Have you tried it?
This weekend, I will be celebrating my birthday. So, I will for sure spend some quality time with my hubby and our daughter. As to where we will go or what exactly we will do, I honestly have no idea yet. Hubby usually surprises me with romantic ideas so I’m looking forward to getting surprised. 🙂
Enjoying a weekend off work!! Woohoo!! Took a painting class with my boo, visited the beach. Relaxing & watching fashion police as I type 🙂 🙂
Love sledding and socks!
I take a bath like once every three months, I don’t have the time to do it more often. If I could I would though!
My favorite social media site is Instagram!
My favorite eye makeup remover has to be the estee lauder eye makeup remover, its amazing!
I love that you love cats!! I have had cats all my life and I think a lot of people don’t understand cats at. They are actually very needy (lol) and very loving – of course, only when it serves them 😉 I currently have two furbabies. Thy are monsters of cats and the best little boys I could ask for! <3
Thanks for all your hard work with this blog! I read daily 🙂
I do like baths at home.
Loving our lazy Sundays with bf staying in bed and watching Startrek!
This weekend I had a first try a wellness and fitness club and it has great babyliss dryers so my chance to try that too:).
My favorite eye makeup remover is from The Balm. Then I just wash my face with a foaming cleanser.
I love instagram! I love looking at pictures of everything I am interested in!
I’ve got an examn on wednesday, but I’ve got no clue how to study for it! So I’ve just spent my day watching tv shows and playing Candy Crush (guilty pleasure). I might get something sweet to munch on now.
I love going sledding. A couple years ago, my dad picked up a couple of wooden taboggans and we’ll wax them and go sledding. I haven’t gone yet, but this Pittsburgh weather has been all about the snow the past week. It’s been way too cold to be outside for too long (the wind chill makes it consistently below zero). I feel like I live beyond the North wall! 😉
I LOVE BATHSSS, I find myself never taking quick showers but always looooong baths. Also my favorite pair of socks definitely have to be these cat covered ones! 🙂 :DDD
Love Sephora, and I love OCC Lip tars!!
Thank you for doing this!
With two cats, baths are not an option – the tub is disgusting!
Yes, I have been sledding
Hey,
my favorite social network is clearly facebook.
nice site
I have a pair of knee high fuzzy socks I love for when its cold and snowy
I love taking baths. When it’s hot outside I always take a bath after I get home from work. I call it my happy place. 🙂
So tired of this crazy winter weather… Since I’ve been stuck inside so much Ive been going through my makeup supply playing around. 🙁
I love using Pinterest to find new makeup tips people in my family don’t really wear makeup so I’m always looking for new ways to put on my makeup.
I take baths quite often and prefer them in the winter.
I spend my sunday with a wonderfull bronchitis…hopefully you re here, with your blog which always gives me a smile. Thanks ^^
I stayed home this weekend but, I did get a lot of cleaning done and I packed up a bunch of stuff to donate.
My favorite make up remover is “take the day off” by Clinique. It removes every last bit without drying out your skin. It means I can start again fresh the next day without the fear of breakouts x
I love Instagram and Pinterest!! I have twitter but can’t seem to get into that one. 🙂 oh and this weekend it’s been too cold to do anything so we’ve been cozied up inside!!
Just found your blog and love it!!
I love instagram!!
My cousin got me a pair of pamper socks.. they have like an aloe substance inside of them .. freakin LOVE!
what blog post put you on the map as a big beauty blogger?
My favorite makeup remover is Studio 35 Beauty!
Fave socks would have to be the translucent pink ones with embroidered flowers..
only showers now
I love taking baths after a particularly long day or week, but my apartment… *shudder* The dude living there before me (and probably the 5 tenants before him) NEVER. CLEANED. THE. TUB. Despite all the bathroom cleaner in the world (both organic and super-powered-government-standard chemical-y stuff) and much scouring, I would never be comfortable taking a bath in that tub.
You’d think that I take baths all the time from what I purchase at Lush, but, lo, it’s generally showers for me while the kids have amazing baths!
I use MAC cleanse off oil, and it’s worked great. But, I’m thinking of trying DHC’s due to the price difference 🙂
Oh boy, I wish I could take a bath. I even have some of those bath bombs from Lush. Unfortunately, I’m afraid to take a bath in my not-renovated-in-a-while tub from the 1900s.
🙂
my fav social media network is instagram! no surprise, it’s the most effective with pics in my face when i want to look up something. love it.
I just saw Blue Jasmine too; really enjoyed it. I’ve seen every Woody Allen movie….oh, I only take showers, because we don’t have a tub in our master bath.
I prefer showers! Baths are still such a new thing to me lol
I love Sephora!
Favorite social media=pinterest!
The best makeup remover is baby shampoo!
i been working all weekend 🙁
I love Mary Kay makeup remover!
I love sledding!! I don’t think I have gone in years, though, since college!
I did some major damage at Joann’s and Michael’s today – I’m excited to start crafting again! It’s nice to have a relaxing, creative outlet besides makeup 🙂
I prefer to take showers and I love using twitter
I have been sick this whole weekend! But school starts this upcoming week so I must get better soon, chicken soup and makeup blog reading it is for the rest of the day!
I’m definitely a bath gal, especially since I’ve started running again!
I love the Urban Decay mascara.
I love the Urban Decay mascara.
My favorite socks are fuzzy socks with fun patterns and colors!
I’ve just started getting into Instagram. Love it! Maybe it’s because I’m a visual person…
I am obsessed with Pinterest! I could stay on there for hours! I always have a great big list of crafts to do after looking at Pinterest.
Growing up we lived at the top of this moutain 15 miles outta town so I got to do lots of sledding.when snow would start to stick real good we would have to drive the cars downto the bottom so my parents could get to work.we used our 4wheelers aa lot in the winters..plowing& getting to&from the cars but us kids had the funnist time using them to pull the sleds or innertubes as most of the hills that would be suitable for sleeding had cliffs at the end..
I actually went sledding yesterday. My family and I got together with some of our neighbors and drove to a nearby park to sled down a super steep hill. However, the snow was dry so the sleds would not budge! We still had a good time though.
As far as makeup remover goes, I don’t know if Boscia’s Makeup Breakup cleanser counts, but it removes my makeup better than anything I’ve ever tried. I absolutely love it.
I’ve always been a shower girl and no social networking for me, I think I’m anti-social, haha
Best make up remover = jojoba oil or Ken Goh’s cleansing water!
Unfortunately I only really take showers…I am 6’1 and logistically do not fit in the tub so that everything is, *ahem*, covered! It is one of my dreams to have a long/deep enough tub so that I am able to relax and leave something to the imagination 😉
I’ve always wanted to go sledding, but in Florida it doesn’t snow.
I didn’t know you had a YT channel! I subscribed! x
This weekend, I am making my house more comfortable by putting up window treatments etc. Boring but necessary! Also I am exploring fragrances notes of my favorite perfumes.
It’s so cold in Maryland that I didn’t leave the house all weekend.
My fave makeup remover is by clean and clear. Its so gentle I love it!
I haven’t taken a bath in ten years! The last time I took baths was when the shower was being repaired. My 15 year old daughter just got into taking bubble baths and it’s now one of her favorite things .
My favorite makeup removed is Lush’s Ultrabland. It’s all natural and super soothing for sensitive eyes. I just rub a little bit on and then wipe off with a warm washcloth. So easy, and takes only a minute! (It works really well on stubborn eye makeup, too!)
I love taking baths as a relaxation getaway 🙂 Old school add-ins are my favorite; lavender oil and almond milk are so great for the skin!
I love baths, I would much rather have one than a shower!
lounging by the tele all weekend! NKOTB to Grammys
I love taking baths!
I love taking baths!
My favorite social media is twitter – I like that it is in real time
My favorite social network site is Facebook, but I probably still spend more time on Pinterest.
I wish I had time for baths, it’s always showers for me!
I looove taking bath, it sometimes lasts for an hour an a half 😀 😀
What’s your favorite social network (Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)?
I like Facebook for catching up with my friends but I love Pinterest for food and beauty tips <3
I prefer showers to baths at home
I haven’t seen either movie but I did hear the buzz about Cate. One of my friends saw Osage and HATED it. I think I’ll wait for Netflix. 🙂
We grew up sledding (we say “sliding”) and the boys love it now. Last year for their b’day we rented a small ski hill for a few hours and had a ton of people go tubing (on big tractor trailer inner tubes). It was a total blast. 🙂
I usually have showers! But sometimes I take baths to use Lush products 🙂
Always a shower, but when I have time there is nothing more relaxing than a bubble bath 🙂
i usually only take showers.
Been using the Nuance Dual Phase makeup remover lately and loving it! Does the job and keeps the skin around my eyes soft!
Living in New England I go sledding all the time!
I LOVE taking baths =) Lush bath bombs are the perfect treat
At home, I only take showers. Our bathtub was made for hobbits, so if I ever want to soak, only my legs would enjoy it, and probably not even my knees LOL
Baths occasionally, like when I have bath bombs from Lush.
My favorite makeup remover is Clinique Take the Day Off cleansing balm. I have no problem getting waterproof mascara and black eyeliner off with this stuff 🙂
Can’t wait to break my diet for some Super Bowl buffalo wings
You made me lust after the hourglass blushes so much. now I want one for V-day!
give it to me tabby baby
I love me a good bath, but not that overheated/sick feeling I seem to get in there as an adult. Why did that not happen as a kid?!
I take a bath every weekend together with my 4-year old son, he just loves the Lush bath bombs (and so do I)!
I wish I could take baths at home! But alas, sharing a bathroom with my gross boy-roommates sort of ruins that for me…
What’s the best makeup remover? – I have really been enjoying MAC’s Cleanse-Off Oil! Coconut oil is really good, but didn’t do quite enough to get rid of my eye makeup, so I had been using Sephora’s waterproof eye makeup remover in conjunction with that. Now the Cleanse-Off Oil is really all I need, and I think it’s been improving my skin tone and texture as well.
I’ve tried a lot of different eye makeup removers, and best bang for your buck is definitely Avon’s. I’ve gotten it for as little as 99 cents a bottle! My eye area is super sensitive and it doesn’t irritate at all.

I have tons of eye makeup removers but my favorite on is by Makeup Forever. It’s a blue lotion that just dissolves all my makeup.
My favorite socks are a red pair I knit myself. They have hearts and are the warmest wool.
My favorite social network is Facebook. 🙂
My favorite makeup remover is SW Basics. It’s all natural and gets even the tough stuff off! Plus it’s super moisturizing….
Yes, I have been sledding (about 5 years ago) and had a total blast!!! I love anything that has to do with snow. (only because I don’t live in it) =)
Instagram is my favorite social media network because a picture is worth a thousand words (and a minimum of five hashtags).
Thank you for the giveaway! I love OCC products 🙂
My favorite social media is Pinterest. It’s my rabbit hole. I lose hours and hours there looking at pretties and cute fuzzy babies.
I absolutely love the printed aloe infused socks from Bath and Body Works. The lavender scented ones are amazing!
This weekend I’m probably just working and doing homework. -_-
I’d loooove to win some $$ for new makeup. I’ve been broke and unemployed for too damn long. I found a job, but all my money’s spoken for now! argh.
My favorite makeup remover is Sonia Kashuk .
I baked red velvet cake today for the first time, and its delicious!! I wish I could let you try them… heehheee
I very rarely ever take baths (probably once a year if that). I’ve never understood the appeal of soaking in one to relax – just feels like too much work to me haha. Maybe I’m lazy, but it just doesn’t do anything for me. I like to shower – get in and get out.
I’m obsessed with those OCC Lip Tars! Black Dahlia is my favorite 🙂
Because of LUSH I’m completely obsessed with taking baths! I can’t get enough of their bath bombs!
My first bath of 2014 was last night!
Hey Karen, hope you had a great weekend!
Myself I use baby oil to remove makeup, having really sensitive skin it’s the only thing that does not give me rashes and it works really well even waterproof!
Pinterest is my fav. An online resource of recipes, beauty and fashion. You can’t beat that!
My favorite makeup remover is Paula’s Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover. It gets it all with no stinging, no fierce rubbing, and no weird residue. Love it!
Clean n Clear’s eye makeup remover is the best there is…though very hard to find
Pinterest is the most addicting social media for me!
More of a shower girl, though if I ever get a awesome tub that could change 🙂
I never ever take baths… My bathtub is so tiny, it would be so uncomfortable lol! Thanks for the giveaway Karen! 🙂 x
I never ever take baths…my bathtub is so tiny it would be so uncomfortable! Showers all the way! lol
Thanks for the fab giveaway Karen! 🙂 x
I have become a major Pinterest addict.
My favorite makeup remover is the Body Shop Chamomile cleansing oil for my face, and then the Lancome Bi-Facil for my eyes.
My favorite social media site is Pinterest! So many great ideas!
I am so incredibly sick of this below freezing weather!
I do take baths at home! It’s nice to sit in there with a Lush bath bomb once in awhile and let all my stress melt away! And I truly believe the best makeup remover is Bioderma!

I love MAC cleanse off oil!
I’m a total bath girl, love my bubbly baths! :]
My favorite eye makeup remover is Neutrogena; for removing face makeup, it’s DHC olive oil cleanser.
I hope to hit the beach this weekend. Enjoying the Caribbean sun before heading back to the cold!!
I have never missed taking baths as much as since I moved into a house with no tub! I’ve always been more of a shower person but now I find myself daydreaming of hot, bubbly baths with candles and soft music playing. Oh well, showers are quicker and more efficient anyway, haha.
I’ve never been sledding before ever! Would love to try sometime…as long as I don’t get snow down my pants. That part of it doesn’t look so fun. haha
Another lovely giveaway, thank you!
My fave eye makeup remover is Bi-Facil. Still looking for my HG face makeup remover, tho.
Your blog is seriously my favorite beauty blog. I blame you for getting me addicted to makeup!
You are forcing me to share my favorite sledding story. Sledding with the neighbor boy. Told him not to go head first. Did he listen? Of course not. Slammed head first into the high school wall. Spent the rest of his afternoon in emergency.
Now that I got a shower filter, I could LIVE in the shower. Before I filtered the water, I would always have exczema flare ups every winter. Have not had one since 2001!!!!!!!!! yay, me!
This past week school was cancelled because there was an insane amount of snow~ Whilst I’m glad, I really regret not using that time to sleep since I played games instead. First day back at school and I feel like I’m dyingggg~ Anyways, even during last week I still checked your blog <3

I loathe baths! Only showers for me
I used to take baths all the time, but now that i’m living in the dorms I never do! I miss my jacuzzi bath 🙁
In the deep freeze. Live in Northern Indiana where the temp is currently 1 degree and the wind chill is -45.
On the plus side, I’m a college professor, and campus is CLOSED tomorrow due to inclement weather! WOOT!
Great Blog!!! Love it’s versatality!!
my wool socks right now because of the polar vortex! 🙁
The best makeup remover I have tried is Clinique Take the Day Off. Works on the most stubborn waterproof mascara!
Love Lush bubble baths so much!
I really hate the cold and today it was 7 out!! I need to move
Love sledding! Lately we’ve gotten lots of snow, so that means lots of sledding and a toasty house with a nice book and hot cocoa to warm up with.
The last time I went sledding was a few years ago. I plan on trying to do it again this year, but I have to wait until the next snow storm. Hopefully that will mean a snow day for me! 🙂
Im totally addicted to ig! It’s awful!
Instagram is my favorite!
Not doing anything too exciting this weekend but I’m counting the days until the weekend of Feb. 22nd because I’m going to VEGAS, BABY! So excited! The end of February can’t come soon enough!
Just showers for me!
I love taking baths at home and reading books in there. It’s too bad our bath tub is a weird shape and the end isn’t wide enough for shoulders.
I love taking baths at home and reading books in there. It’s too bad our bath tub is a weird shape and the end isn’t wide enough for shoulders.
I only ever take showers at home because our bathtub is old and very small.
My favorite social network is Twitter. There are so many ways to communicate with someone that could be halfway across the world. Thanks for the giveaway!

my sephora orders always equal $50 so this would help!!!!
I only take baths once in a while.
I would love to win a giveaway and get to shop for myself without feeling guilty. 🙂
I have been loving my baths lately… I just bought the coconut and the mango sephora bubble bath, I mix them together and it’s a little beach heaven in the middle of the winter
i love sledding! it’s my favorite winter activity!
Best make up remover would be Bioderma which is what I’m using now. Doesn’t irritate my skin and removes everything.
Loved your latest on the new hourglass blush. Cantbwait to try it!
Oh, what’s that? OCC has a new collection of Lip Tars including a violet and a cotton candy pink? …well, damn. There goes my paycheck…unless…;-)
Thanks for the giveaway!
I love to take a bath when I’m sick or stressed out, but I always have to clean the tub real quick before I fill it up. Our water here leaves a pink ring around the tub and freaks me out. Probably shouldn’t be soaking in it anyway.
I just want to roll around in all those OCC goodies in the photo! Heehee.
I just came back from getting my maid of honor dress fitted for my sister’s wedding.. What a pain in the behind!!
i met a friend i hadn’t seen in four years this weekend. we had a lot of fun catching up and sightseeing around l.a.
My Favorite Social Media is Instagram by far, it’s a little piece of Twitter, but with more words & hashtags.
Geeez I am late to the party! Well, I haven’t heard of Blue Jasmine, but my girlfriend and I DO want to go see Osage County. But surprisingly my fiancée and I rented 2 *unexpectedly* decent movies this weekend: “This is 39 er I mean 40”, and “Now You See Me”. 🙂
I’m all about the showers, but I kinda miss baths now.
I used to love a bath, but now I’m renting a place with a jacuzzi tub I don’t have the patience (or enough hot water) to fill!
I caved and ordered three of the new Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes from Sephora.com. I purchased the shades “Diffused Heat”, “Liminous Flash”, and “Mood Exposure”. I took advantage that the Sephora VIBs are currently allowed to order these new blushes before they are officially released on Sephora.com and in Sephora stores.
My favorite socks are a pair of thick wool socks from Target – can’t remember the brand. I don’t know what I’d do without them in this frigid cold!
