Not that I’m totally against seeing it, mind you. I like Mr. Pitt, but I wasn’t in the mood for a heavy movie with a bunch of dudes.
Instead, I experienced the glory that is The Cheesecake Factory Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake Pie. Picture it: a pecan pie with a pumpkin cheesecake layered on top of it and two huge dollops of whipped cream on the side…
YES! YES!!
After that we just came home, and I took a really long shower and did a body scrub and a hair mask. Then we watched some TV before bed.
Today I have half-marathon final details to attend to, like I have to paint my nails and straighten my hair, because I’ve discovered that I like running with straight hair. And I have to finalize my music playlist. I know this: the last three miles will be powered by Bloc Party.

So I’ve been desperately trying to avoid buying Christmas make-up products, because I REALLY don’t need more – but that’s kind of hard if you frequent beauty products at this time of the year. I rationalize it by saying that it fulfills my eyelust without me having to fork over any cash, but I end up finding all these OTHER products I really want too. Ah, the pain.
Anyway, my initials are actually pretty darn terrible. QNNL. Like, really, mom, dad? Also, the entirety of the name is unpronouncable if you speak English. But of course I love my heritage, so ultimately can’t complain too much.

I have an alarming number of very tall friends (6’2″ and up), but a guy who lived in my college dorm was 6’8″, which I think is the tallest of anyone I personally know. He once thought it would be funny to sneak up behind me and then grab me by the ankles and hold me upside down. He did not do that again after I said some choice words about it. After being sick for several weeks, I was back in the gym this weekend. Hard. May have overdone it today, but I’m finally at a point where I actually enjoy working out! Woot!
