So, the movie last night, John Wick — not too shabby, tabby. There’s something about Keanu Reeves… He’s gotten such a bad rap over the years for his acting, but I almost always like his movies. (Did you ever see A Walk in the Clouds? I really liked that one.) What more can you ask?
About the movie, though, yeah, violent to the extreme. Just words of warning, if you’re not in the mood for that kind of thing. Be prepared for an action movie a la 1980s Bruce Willis or Arnold Schwarzenegger.
In other news…I only realized at Trader Joe’s before the movie last night that the Giants are in the World Series, LOL! Goes to show ya how much of a baseball fan I am. I’m more into football.

Yeah, the checker was ringing up my groceries when he looked up at me suddenly and asked, “Oh! Do you know the score of the game?” And I was like, “Uh…” Even El Hub didn’t know.
Then the checker said, “Last I checked it was 1-1, but the Giants looked like they were about to score,” to which I replied. “Yeah…I think so. That sounds about right.” 🙂
When I got home I found out they lost. Tabs was upset, of course, because he’s a big Giants fan, but he says the series isn’t over yet.

My recent pair of shoes I bought was a couple weeks ago! I got Hunter’s tall rain boots in this bright coral color with a hot pink stripe down the back. I love them!! They’re soo comfy and I love having something bright on, on a dreary rainy day! Makes me happy!!

I bought a pair of boots 2 weeks ago. They are from Target. I normally spend a little more on shoes to get a nicer quality pair but I didn’t know if I would be a fan of casual boots, but I am! I absolutely love them. Where I live the seasons are pretty much Summer and Winter so I usually go from wearing flip flops to snow boots but I wanted something in between!

Favorite Keanu Reeves movie? – I was so excited to see this question because I’ve had a HUGE crush on Keanu since I was about 13 (now 26). My favorite of his movies that I have seen so far has to be 47 Ronin. It is such a beautiful movie and Keanu is fantastic in it. I cannot wait to see John Wick. It looks SOO good!

I bought a bunch of tennis shoes a couple of months ago from 6pm.com. But now my job is say that we can’t wear them (even though we’re on our feet all day). So maybe I’ll look into some of Crocs professional looking ballet flats and see how comfortable they are.

How to be a pimple – put a white eyeliner or lipstick or just something white around your mouth and something red around that white area. I don’t have an answer for any of your questions (except I like baseball about minus 50) so instead I’ll say that I have been offered a job, which I wasn’t looking for. I’ve been a full time student since taking a redundancy from my last job in June and going on a month’s holiday soon to NYC (yay!) but I’ve been offered a job and while I guess that’s a good thing I don’t really want to go back to work yet so I’m feeling a bit stressed about it. I’m going to accept though, it’s bad karma to turn down a job. Specially one earning over $85k a year plus really good superannuation and other benefits. It really is a first world problem!

My best Halloween costume was Princess Leia when I was a kid in the 80’s. As an adult my favorite was Sailor Moon. I got a lot of attention out at the bars in the short skirted sailor outfit with over the knee boots! Good thing I was young! 🙂

Too Faced La Belle Carousel; Tarte Pin-up Girl/Bon Voyage/Away Oui Go, and the MAC Heirloom Collection have been so beautiful, but for non-holiday releases I’d say it is Stila who has gone the farthest to up their packaging game with the Eyes are the Window palettes. Love the luxe mixed metals.

My favorite costume that I ever did was Cruella de Vil. I had the black and white wig and did my makeup in an extremely exaggerated way, mimicking the cartoon version not the Glenn Close version. I won a contest at a bar, too! Oh, I also had a barking toy Dalmatian on a leash that I dragged around all night. Good times.

My favorite Keanu Reeves movie would have to be The Lake House. Although admittedly, the whole defiance of quantum physics theme still baffles me LOL.

I’m not a Keanu Reeves fan, but I find “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure” to be most a most excellent movie.

Not too much into baseball, but if I’m rooting for anyone, it’s the Rays (I live in the Tampa Area) or the Rangers (since I was born a Texan).
A couple of weeks ago, needed new running shoes as I am running the nyc marathon one week from today.

My favorite KR movie is Speed. It was the first R-rated movie I saw in theaters and it helps a special place in my heart. Plus, it’s a good and fun action flick.
On a scale of 1-10, I would say I am a 4 in regards to baseball. I don’t watch the games on TV but on the occasion I would go to a live game because watching baseball is boring to me unless you are in the audience!
Best costume my best friend and I were Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb years ago, with bow ties and propellor hats we had so much fun that night.
FYI I am a crazy cat lady… I have 4, 3 are black and one is a tuxedo, I found them, bottle fed them, then I could not part with them. They make my life so much better.
I am in search of a blush that does not come off while wearing a face mask, ala the dental assistant way. Help me!
Once my team is out, I declare the season over, but I’d have to consider myself a 9, at least. After all, my husband and I got married on a (minor league) ballfield between batting practice and the first pitch (which he threw out). One of our favorite mementos from the day is the scorecard. Our friends took turns scoring for us 😉

I’ve never actually watched a full fledged baseball game that wasn’t oart of a movie or tv series, baseball just simply isn’t big where I’m from. So that would make it a 0 – even on a 1-10 scale, I guess?
On a scale of 1 to 10? Zero. I’m not a fan of any sports. Now the Olympic is another story.
I bought a pair of pumps in the beginning of september. I needed some more professional looking heels that match with everything.

The best costume I can think of is my nephew as Alfalfa from The Little Rascals or as Edward Scissorhands. My older sister made the costumes from regular clothes and stuff around the house. He looked so cute as Alfalfa because of his hairstyle!

The last time I bought shoes was about a month ago. We unexpectedly spent several hours walking around the mall, and my flats with no arch support left my dogs barking, so I had to buy a new pair of shoes. Got a pair on sale that had a memory-foam type insole and they’re both cute and comfy!

The perfect getaway I’ve been dreaming about lately is to this hotel/bungalow group on a natural oasis out in 29 Palms (by Joshua Tree). You can get a room or one of the little old cottages, and they have a fabulous chef and you can hang out by the oasis lake. Soooo pretty and relaxing. 🙂

John Wick has gotten good reviews and I’ve never had a problem with Keanu either – I loved the Matrix (and the silliness of things like Bill & Ted).
