Kaw, kaw! So, Birdman… Seemed like a long movie to me, but I thought it was interesting and different. The whole thing plays out like one long camera shot, so the scenes sort of flow into each other. I’ve seen that effect before, but I liked the way it worked here.
In the movie, Michael Keaton’s character plays an aging, washed-up actor everyone knows as the man who formerly played Birdman, a comic book superhero he stopped playing in movies many years earlier (kind of autobiographical in that way, since Michael played Batman in the late ’80s and early ’90s). Now he’s producing, directing and starring in his own Broadway play, after investing his life savings into it, and most of the movie is about the shenanigans backstage before opening night. Oh, and he’s also losing his mind… Or something like that.
I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite movie of the year so far, but I liked it.

My favorite shoes? Lol! My knees will only let me wear flats. Comfortable flats. I like to wear the Mary Janes from Walking Cradles because they’re so comfortable, and they let me show off my hand-knit socks. I have them in three colors, black, navy, and pewter. I also have two different styles of waterproof walking shoes from Clarks, in navy and khaki tan. If this woman is determined to walk everywhere, she still wants to do it in some degree of style as well as complete comfort!

I am excited that there are so many options for black lipstick. Not like back in the day when black eyeliner carefully slathered in lip balm was your only option. I fear I am too old to own, let alone wear, black lipstick. :/
I would love to one day straighten my natural hair! Since I have had heat damage before , I am bit afraid to do it. I have since colored my hair as well so maybe during the winter I’ll get brave enough to attempt it. I already purchase a blow dryer which I use to diffuse my hair from time to time. 2015 here I come with some straight hair lol hopefully anyway!!!

I love going out for breakfast and ordering french toast. There’s a local restaurant here who makes their own ciabatta bread and then uses it for the french toast. Omg Karen, it tastes so good with just some butter and the tiniest bit of powdered sugar, it never gets old to me!

alllot of products I wish they were smaller, my bag is sometimes so heavy that I think that if I hit somebody with my bag he/she wil feel unconscious or just be knock out.
for example blushes are too bulky
my face powder then again too bulky and heavy
my eyeglasses case I get it your glasses need to be secure but this one is ridiculous.
I love any deluxe sample sized product – I like to try a lot of things and I rarely finish an entire lipstick/mascara etc. Holiday sets are the best for this! Everything is just the perfect amount – and great for travelling too!

Favorite pair of shoes currently my ankle boots from last year’s collection at Geox. They’re brown leather, with a very slight wedge and side zips. Completely waterproof and skip-proof! Great with absolutely everything and you can totally wear them in winter and be nice and cozy 🙂

I know it’s probably a bit silly, but I’m still terrified of doing a smoky eye of any kind. I’ve tried multiple times, but I ended up looking like I got punched in the eye at karate instead of sultry and sexy, so I just scrubbed it off and went back to my “signature” kitten eye with black liner.
But I wanna actually learn to do it so bad, because all the looks are fun and I LOVE the idea of a shimmery one for Christmas. I just haven’t found a way to keep from looking like I failed at kumite.

Yes it may sound a bit narcissist,but I’ve done a lot of goods deeds in my life. Sweet means for me: Kind, thoughtful, cute, helping hand etc… i can go on. I think I fit in all of the criteria. My current favorite shoes are these black suede boots from Nine West. They are ankle height and are pretty simple, just with a little buckle and are slouchy. I bought them on zappos several years ago in two colors and I adore them!
Right now, my favorite shoes are a pair of black Easy Spirit flats. They are comfy and dressy enough for work.

A hairstyle I would love to try is the half shaven parted hair like how Demi Lovato had her hair. I love outrageous hairstyles! One of my favorite lipsticks this month is definitely the new Kat Von D studded lipstick in “Lolita” It is such a beautiful color. I am definitely going to invest in more. 🙂

My favorite shoes are boots, these wonderful vintage (old!) Doc Martens with pink roses all over them. I love those silly things, wear them with just about anything, and they are so comfy! I can’t imagine finding another pair of shoes that I love as much as those boots.

Does it bother you if your friends don’t like someone you’re dating? – I’ve never run into this problem, which makes me think yes, it would bother me. I’m not saying it would be a deal breaker, but I definitely care about the opinions of those who know me best and can give me well-meaning 3rd-party feedback. I’m always receptive to that and can tell whether or not someone has my best interests at heart.

When dining out, I prefer to order something that I do not ordinarily make at home. Something unusual, or time consuming to make. I just feel guilty if I get something I could have easily made myself, for far less $ than eating out. It seems justified if the meal is unique, difficult to make, or involves spices I do not usually keep in the pantry.

I just would like to give a heads-up to a wonderful lipstick Sephora used to make,and I am hoping they still do. It was/is a lovely wine colored(several colors are made)matte finish(also came in a regular finish) that has great ‘staying’power. Winning this would enable me to get back to Sephora and hopefully find that they are still in production!Staying power is the 1st thing I look for;and this Sephora brand definitely had/has staying power!
