Greetings, I love you. 🙂
How’s it going, babe (and you, too, dude)? I hope you slept well. I’m looking forward to a couple things this weekend. My in-laws are visiting, so we’ll probably take them sightseeing around the Bay Area today, which is always fun. Not sure what we’re going to do, yet, but whatever it is, there’s a good chance it will involve food, and lots of it.
And then Sunday should also be fun. I’m literally counting down the seconds, no joke! October was my friend Jen’s birthday month (yes, I firmly believe that everyone should have a birthday month), so Cindy, another good friend of mine, and I are belatedly treating her (and, um, ourselves) to a spa and dinner.
We haven’t gotten together like this in many moons, so I can’t wait to see them and just hang out.
I plan to get a deep-tissue massage and intend to tell the massage tech to “pummel the crap out of all the knots in my back,” or “tenderize me like a side of beef, yo!”
Hopefully, I have that loosey-goosey feeling when it’s done. I love that…

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Hope you have a great weekend!
I have cut my hair all off after a break-up twice and hated it both times!
I can’t french braid! But I want to learn!
Your weekend plans sound like fun! Especially the massage! My boldest lipstick I own is MAC Private Party, I love it, I just need to apply it with a lip brush so it doesn’t look cartoonish.
I learned bellydancing for half a year, it was fun, definitely plan to take more classes in future =)
I’ve taken so many memorable classes! But my favorite has to be an introductory geology class I took… we got to take an awesome weekend field trip to the Catskill Mountains in New York to look for evidence of the assembly and breakup of continents! It was beautiful and really interesting!
I’m building a lipstick collection and right now my favorite bold lipsticks are the Maybelline Vivid in coral crush and Khroma lip lacquer in shocking pink!
Belly dancing?!! I am a Turkish girl, so I can teach you a few moves if you want to :)) belly dance is fun and sexy!! You can even get in shape with it hah:)
It’s sad that I can do a French braid on other people’s hair but not mine!
My grandmother was the expert when it came to hair. I wish I was able to do something else besides put it in a pony tail
I’ve never cut my hair off after a breakup, but I did cut it all off after having my 2nd child. It takes about two minutes to do in the morning! Love it!
I actually just bought my first tube of red lipstick and I love it! Red lipstick always seemed too much for me but I love how confident and daring I feel once wearing it 🙂
The boldest lipstick in my bag is an orangey red by Nyx, haven’t worn it yet, waiting for the perfect day.
My favorite lipstick at the moment is Private Party by MAC, it’s the perfect fall shade!
I’ve belly danced in the privacy of my own home! Wouldn’t do it anywhere else.
I can French braid my own hair 🙂
Actually I’ve once tried belly dancing when I was 7. This reminds me of trying to star again. Thanks.
Hi karen, hope you have a great weekend! My goal this weekend is to order the LORAC Pro palette. I’m getting the one from Ulta that comes with a full size eyeliner, only $39!
My November makeup goal is to snag most of the holiday palettes from Sephora 🙂 The addiction is real…
i m eyeing NARS this month 😉
Watching the Red Sox Rolling Rally on TV — so awesome!
Have fun this weekend – sounds like you have a good one planned! My teen son requests a professional massage every year for his birthday (he plays sports & gets some nasty knots). He’s already reminding me to get it scheduled for his birthday next month! My weekend plans actually include a Sephora trip, as my ‘staples’ are running low 🙂
Ooooooh! Have fun today, with the family! 🙂
I wish I wore lipstick as much as I wanted to. It’s such a chore to make sure it stays put. And I wish I could french braid my own hair! It would make my workouts less frustrating!
Have a Nom-Nom day! Did you read that Union Square will be turned into Gotham City for a 5-year-old’s wish? I don’t remember when that will be.
Have fun with the fam bam!
Thanks for this giveaway!!!
Have a good day
Fun times with Mom this weekend. I surprised her with tickets to see Bon Jovi 🙂
I actually just started wearing/carrying around one of the darker/bolder shades of this Tarte LipSurgence set I got forever ago (okay, two years), it’s a beautiful berry color, but it looks like a tad darker hot pink on my lips.
I am a big lipstick scaredy cat, so this is kind of a big deal for me. I usually try to stay away from darker lipsticks, because they’re scary and bold and “hey look at me”, and that’s not who I am generally, LOL.
I’ve never cut my hair off after a breakup but two weeks ago I did chop off a 10 inch ponytail and donated it to Locks of Love.
I love french braids but I’m awful at french braiding my own hair! Hope you have a great weekend! It’s daylight savings time tomorrow. :3
oh. my. look at all those D&Gs!! *drools*
with the $50, i would buy me a D&G lipstick, which would be my first piece from the brands.
I love winters because I love wearing scarfs! And fluffy sweaters with animals on them. 😉
The most memorable class I’ve ever taken was a psychology class I took in high school. My teacher (who is still one of my favorite teachers) was amazing and made the class very interesting.
I actually have this amazing bold lipstick in my purse that I recently picked up from Sephora. It is YSL’s Rouge Volupte Shine in Fuchsia in Excess, and it is unbelievably gorgeous! Although the name makes it sound like it will be more of a just vibrant pink color, it is actually a lovely berry-toned pink- perfect for fall!
I had bum length hair, when I broke up with my first ‘real’ boyfriend, and also my daughters father at 19, I cut it completely off so it looked closer to a bob. I HATED it short, but it was so librating because he would never let me cut it off.
I like a darker lip for fall, but brights are still in right now. I have to be in the right mood for a super bright lip, and still want a deeper shade for fall, so I have compromised with an old classic – Revlon’s Cherries in the Snow. On me it is a brightened rich raspberry pink-red. Makes my skin look clearer and eyes stand out. NC20 skin blonde blue eyes. Have a great visit and massage Karen!
I have never been able to French braid my own hair but I can do a beautiful braid on other people. My step-sister and I used to french braid each other’s hair all the time when we were young. I desperately want the new Nars-Splendor in the Grass palette. Hope to win this giftcard so I can get it:-) Love your blog!!
Best past of fall is pumpkin spice lattes!
I love french braids, but unfortunately, I cannot french braid my own hair. I can’t french braid someone else’s hair either. I’m really bad at braids in general. 🙁
So excited about all of the holiday gift sets…I want them ALL! Ahhh!
Wow, is that everything you have of one brand? I’m now very very curious to see what your whole makeup stash is like!
I’ve never tried belly dancing!
What I love about fall is wearing sweaters, jackets and scarves! Oh and the holiday drinks at strabucks! 😉
I love boots and colourful peacoats in the fall!
I can French braid my own hair, but cannot braid someone else’s hair. I think is has something to do with the angle.
This is an awesome giveaway. Good luck everyone 🙂
Right now I’m carrying the Revlon lipstick in Blackcherry. My favorite fall shade!
I can French braid my own hair, and it’s finally getting long enough again 😉
Oh, I wish I could French-braid my own hair… I stick to normal and fishy-tail braids
inlove with makeup! hoping to win fingers crossed!!
i took a few belly dancing classes; had fun but i was horrible at it!
My fav lipstick at the moment is the suqqu creamy glow, ve the texture and colors! Trying to collect the ones I want before they discontinue them! So far I have #2, 9, 10, 12, 13… Awaiting 1,3,5,6 to arrive! My mom saw my package with a few of themm and decided to “borrow” one to use !
Enjoy your weekend! It sounds amazing!
I once asked my husband to trim my below shoulder length hair. I don’t know what he was thinking as he barely left enough to tie it up in a pony. Four years later, I still don’t have enough hair for a french braid 🙁 my hair grows really slow!
My favourite thing about fall is the atmosphere on sunny days, with all those colourful leaves all around, the breeze, and all the little city fairs coming.. love!
Getting a back massage today, its been YEARS!
I can’t regular plait my hair let alone a french one! I remember having to wake up my grandma to plait my hair every morning in school, went to a convent, had to have my hair neatly braided :/
Sheer gloss! And I really want to learn to French braid.
Love this picture of the makeup!! Would love to own that collection.
i cannot french braid my hair
I can sort of French braid my hair.
My FAVE thing about Fall are the scented candles from B&BW I really look forward to them every year, the get me in the mood for Christmas 😀
I hate fall. It just signals the end of summer and the start of hibernation
I’m eating halloween candy for breakfast
What I love about fall:
Falling leaves!
Football!
Pumpkin spice lattes!
The introduction of holiday sets!
Rainy days & nights!
Sales!
Sweatshirt weather!
Of course I can frenchbraid my own hair 😉
I love everything about fall!!!! And I’ve never had a breakup, I’ve had only one boyfriend ever, and we’ve been together “officially” for nearly two years =P (we knew each other for like ten years before that)
My November goals are to head to the gym at least 3 times a week and do more activities outside with my kids!
Fall is my fav season.
I currently have MAC Violetta in my purse. It’s a fun, bold lippie!
Your weekend sounds fun Karen! Have a great time! My November goals are to get in more physical activity, spend time with family and friends, and continue to be kind to myself. Oh, and take lots of pictures! I have become obsessed with Instagram, lol!
I can’t french braid my hair at all.
I haven’t cut my hair after a breakup, but I did go get my ear pierced up in the cartilage! That boyfriend hadn’t approved of that!
Yes I can french braid my own hair =) I learned it in high school by sitting behind one of my classmates. She was braiding her own hair and whoalahahh I learned the trick! =)
No not belly dancing but i’ve been trying to learn Tahitian dancing.
Oh, what a scrumptious display of cosmetic artistry. If I win the sephora GC, I could add some to my collection!
I want to try out NARS blushes! I haven’t tried yet! 😀
RyGos and Eva Mendes are on the brink of a split! Is this our big chance?! 🙂
My favorite things about fall are the beautiful foliage, the cooler temperature, pumpkin flavored everything, fall clothing, and fall make up.
Can you French braid your own hair? Yes I can, but barely…ha ha ha!! Something I’ve been practicing is trying to french braid my hair upside down and pile the top of the hair into a bun (I’ve seen this on Pinterest, but I’m still not happy with the final results.
I love fall colours, I love to wear kaki green and burgundy, honey tones with brown or navy, put on spice lip pencil and kaki eyeshadow and I love taking pictures surrouded by falling leaves
I’ve never tried Belly Dancing but I’ve been interested in it!
Woohoo, girlyou have made Christmas wishes happen! I have to literally stay off the Sephora website because theres so much to want! Have a great weekend!
I love when the weather starts to get a bit colder and all of the leaves changing in fall! I also love wearing darker nail polish and boots, so in fall I can finally bring those back out!
My bold lipstick is MAC Rebel, I see it as a red plum shade. But I don’t wear it alone I use a lip stain above it a red beet shade, to seal the color.
Emotional hair chopper here. One day during my lunch break, I went to the nearest “salon” (was more like a barber shop) and did a short asymmetrical bob, complete with shaved back a la T-Boz. Haven’t gone that crazy in a while, but sometimes I still feel the urge!
I love plummy lipsticks in the fall!! Also being able to wear poncho jackets in the cool fall weather :).
I love fall – I like the temperature, the changing leaves, rain, and switching to a fall wardrobe & makeup!
I can french braid my own hair, but I have a hard time french braiding someone else’s…unless I close my eyes! Lol
I just got the limited edition NARS blush palette from Sephora this week and I love it!
I love fall for all the pumpkin goodies, especially lattes, and the cute fashions!
Hi Karen!
I hope this time I win since I want to buy online oil control stuff (a powder and a sunscreen) I hope using them I could stay matte for around 8 hours while using foundation.
I actually have tried belly-dancing, and it’s quite fun. I like the jangly noises the hip adornments make when you dance. And the most memorable class I’ve ever taken is probably the Biology of Women class I took in college; it was pretty awesome! And yes, I have cut my hair after a breakup, and it was also awesome. I cut it shorter and shorter in the ensuing years and now it doesn’t even reach my chin, and it’s great.
I love how fall is like a fresh start. With the new crisp air it just makes me feel like I need to get out with the old and in with the new. It makes me feel like I need to let go of the things holding me back. I love how beautiful nature is in the fall, with the colors of the leaves. I love the smell of the air. Most importantly, my hair doesn’t frizz up and my makeup doesn’t melt off like in the summer hehe =)
I prefer lip glosses that are pigmented enough so that I can wear them as full color as they come or sheer them out as much as I like.
I’ve not only cut my hair after a break-up but I’ve been known to dye my hair (usually darker) as well. Changing up my hair gave me a new perspective in some weird way and ready to move on from the past.
I rather have an opaque gloss I don’t think there is much sense in a sheer one! I like glosses that wear well by themselves.
I have Maybelline Color Whisper lipstick in my purse right now in the color Very Berry. It’s the most pigmented shade in their Color Whisper line. It’s a fabulous fall color!
love the crisp weather of fall! and cider donuts : )
My November goal is convince my boyfriend to make a Holiday card in which our cat is dressed up in some silly costume.
I’ve never bellydanced
There a not many things I love about fall, but I do have to admit that the colors of the leaves are absolutely beautiful 🙂
I love Macoun apples that are fresh in the fall. My goal for November is to get my Christmas shopping done – at least most of it!!
Just a comment to say that Starbucks Red cups are out! Far too early but still, now I’m there far more than necessary!
I just tried Lush Cosmetics and I love them! I bought the bubble gum lip scrub and the Buche de Noel facial cleanser.
I love the smell of the fall season and all of the colors!
Unfortunately, I can french braid my hair – I say unfortunately because it’s become way too much of a default recently!
What I love about fall: the colors, scents, and holidays!
I’m wearing a bold lipstick today and it’s Riri Woo! I didn’t use to like it as I wasn’t used to wearing reds like this one but it’s growing on me!
love your blog Karen! can’t wait for the new Nars palettes!
Have a bright fushia lipstick in my bag ,a real pick m up !
My hair gets really frizzy every time it rains, so when that happens, I French braid it to keep it from getting too insane. I’m trying to branch out and try new things, though, and hopefully get to the point where it just doesn’t get frizzy in the first place!
I’ve taken a few belly dancing classes. A lot of fun and it really taught me how to isolate my hip and ab movements.
My goals for the month include working out more, completing all of my assignments for school on time, and spending more quality time with my family.
I love your blog!
My college gym had amazing classes, and I took bellydancing there. I should give it a try again!
My favorite thing about fall is the gorgeous color palette of the trees 🙂
I can’t french braid, but it’s my goal to learn to do a decent one this fall. Hope you’re having a good weekend!
Right now I am looking at a beautiful golden maple tree in our yard. That’s one of the reasons why I love fall so much.
This has been the best autumn of my life. I live just ten minutes from the lake and the foliage is so beautiful this time of year.
The most memorable class I have ever taken is hot yoga…it has been the most amazing change in my lifestyle!
My goal for November is to take Zumba classes once a week
I have MAC’s Relentlessly Red in my clutch right now!! Such a gorgeous neon pink red 😀 Thanks for this, Karen!
I have MAC’s Relentlessly Red in my clutch right now!! Such a gorgeous, neon pink red! Thanks for this, Karen 🙂
My goals for November…
GO TO THE GYM!! I’ve been putting it off for so many months now :/
I love fall because I love layering clothing and pumpkin everything!!!:)
The most interesting class I’ve ever taken was History of War; was incredibly eye-opening!
Actualy in my bag I have vernis à lèvres de Yves Saint Laurent and the mascara volume effet faux cils Babydoll. It’s perfect!
I’m loving my Mac lipsticks in Blankety and Hot gossip right now 🙂
A spa day with girlfriends sounds great! Have fun!
my goal to november it’s to cutt my hair because it’s sooooo long but it’s hard for me.
I can french braid. my mom taught me when I was younger so I’ve been doing it since.
Mary
Peace!
I’m lucky if my side braid stays intact!!
I wore false lashes for the first time today and had a blast. I definitely see more falsies in my future.
I can’t do a french braid, but i need to learn because i now have a little daughter that surely will want one someday!
I’ve never cut all my hair off after a breakup but I’ve always wondered about it.
My November is packed, so I think my goal is just to survive it 🙂
Love to french braid my hair and others…very fun to do and sort of a hobby to me
I wish i knew how to french braid!
I can french braid my own hair but still can’t seem to do a fishtail braid!
I can french braid my sister’s hair but not mine
Hi Karen!
Nice weekend!!!!!
My stomach could use some belly dancing!
I can French Braid my own hair, but unfortunately can only do 5 & 7 strand braids on other people!
The most memorable class I’ve ever taken was a great Creative Writing class. I prefer opaque lip gloss to sheer. My hair is too short to French Braid! I love going for fall walks to look at the changing colours of the leaves.
Thanks for the giveaway! FB: Alexia Harvours
I can French braid my own hair and have worn it in that style for many years! It’s really not that hard! 🙂
I always seem to alter my hair after a breakup.
I just realized that your blog was no longer updating in my Feedly. No wonder reading my subscriptions have been so lackluster lately. I’m looking forward to catching up on the posts I’ve missed!
The best class I ever took was improv comedy when I was a kid, it was nice to take a class that I was actually good at!
Unfortunately I can’t do a French braid to save my life, on my own hair or someone else’s. That massage sounds so good; enjoy!
I like crisp cool air of fall
Could you pretty please list the names of the Dolce & Gabbana products?
My most memorable class was my Sr. year English class. Prior to that class, I was going to major in Music Performance, and my student teacher in English completely changed my mind. He was (is still, I hope) such an inspiration. Now, many years (and many degrees later), I’m a professor of English at a university.
That picture is literally making me drool.
Hope you have a great weekend!<3
Hmmm…tried belly dancing years ago. Maybe it’s time to try again. Never cut my hair after a breakup, bu did grow it out to almost mid-back. Now am back to the chin-length bob. Also all-over the red lipstick for the first time in years. Got the Guerlain RA in Vega and cannot stop wearing it.
Have a spectacular weekend!
Ooh I wanna win all those goodies in that picture! Fall? What is that? I live in Florida. These are our seasons: Hot, Hotter, Hottest, Hot as Hell with Hurricanes. Sigh.
I have Covergirl’s blastflipstick #805 in my purse, used it on Halloween
Hoping to win an eGift Card from Sephora
I tried bellydancing once, and it was HARD!
Yes, I used to belly dance occasionally during high school. It was so much fun!
I can french braid my own hair, but they don’t look very good on me!
Have a great weekend!
I love the cooler temperatures of fall, the leaves changing colours, Halloween, pumpkin spice muffins, getting into the holiday mood, wearing cute sweaters and fleece-lined tights, warm drinks in the evening… everything!
What a great weekend surprise! If only it was a new kitty…that’s event better!
I love the colors of fall, but not the temperature!
Hi, there! My November goal is too write a 50,000 word novel this month. Haha I’m a National Novel Writing Month (NanoWrimo) participate. Really I ought to be writing now, but your blog is just so entertaining! lol
No, I can’t french braid my own hair. I can barely even regular braid my own hair!
I got all dressed up to go the ballet and then looked at my ticket and realized it’s tomorrow. Doh.
I have MAC Rebel in my purse right now. It’s definitely one of my fave bold lipsticks for Fall! 🙂
i love sephora
Actually I have tried belly dancing!! I bought a video tape on how to do it! It’s fun!! 🙂
I haven’t made any set goals for the month of November, except for trying to get through school. I should probably think about Christmas shopping.
On the 5th I have a bone marrow biopsy, I’m beyond nervous. Wish me luck!
No I can’t french braid my own hair =/ I wish I could!
I sadly cannot French braid my hair. I need a real life practice session with someone. Makeup, I’m a wiz. Hair styles, a total flop LOL. Have a great weekend Karen. Yesterday was my birthday and I’m doing major online shopping today with gift cards. So much makeup, so many decisions 🙂
Going to see the San Jose Sharks play the Phoenix Coyotes tonight. Can’t wait!!!!
I have never gotten a dramatic hair cut after a break up
I used to be able to French braid my own hair, but no one else’s. I had fumblefingers when trying to do anyone else’s hair. Of course, I’ve had a short ‘do since 2007 so no more braids.
November goal? Lose 10 pounds. We’ll see.
Revlon Superlustrous Raisin Rage is my jam this fall. Love the fall colors and fall foods- Pumpkin spice lattes, pies, muffins, baked squash
I have a belly dancing DVD for a workout. It is totally cool.
Fall is my favorite time of year. I love being cozy by the fireplace, fall decorations, and anything PUMPKIN!!!
My November goals are to finish my 6 page research paper and to stuff my face at thanksgiving!
Unfortunately I can’t french braid my own hair……or anyone else’s 🙁
I love your blog x
Have a great weekend!
I want so many holiday collections.. dunno which one to get because if I got all I’d be needing to pay sephora like $800+ 🙁
Since my hair is always in a pixie cut, no french braids for me but if I did have long hair…I would definitely learn how to.
I love fall! I had my first fall this year (I live in Arizona and traveled to North Dakota a couple weeks ago) and loved all the leaves and the cold weather! It was super fun.
My November goal is to lose the 12 pounds I gained in 2013!
I wish I knew how to french braid, but then, I’d have to grow my hair out long again.
I wore UD Catfight today so that’s what I have in my makeup bag in my handbag!
I’ve never cut my hair off as a reaction to a breakup, but the length has changed a bunch over the years. I seem to go in 5-7 year cycles, wearing it long for a time then getting bored or frustrated with it and hacking it all off. The last time was this past January when I literally took a foot off and donated it to Locks of Love. I’ve kept it short so far, with no need to grow it out yet. That will come, though – it always does.
My favorite lipstick right now is Maybelline’s Bit of Berry, but I’m lusting after MAC’s Night Moth lip liner!
I love fall, the crisp weather, knee high boots and pumpkin patches!! 🙂
I love sheer red lipstick!
Anxiously awaiting fall to really start here in Hawaii — it’s still as humid as a summer day.
Nov goal is to start scanning my documents.
I’ve been french braiding my hair since I was a teenager, but I’ve yet to master the fishtail braid!
Catching up on all my recorded TV shows!
The most memorable class I have ever taken was a Hot Yoga class the teacher was just phenomenal. The bold lipstick in my bag is Rebel! I like to sheer it out it looks really pretty although it kind of destroys the purpose of it;)
How about I just answer all? haha
No I’ve never tried belly dancing but I think it would be such fun! Want to learn!
My favorite class was always Art, but I think my most memorable would have to be French. Maybe? haha Not sure.
Not in my purse, I put all my makeup away. But I’ve been wearing a bold red lipstick from Revlon.
I can French braid very poorly on my own. haha Maybe not that bad, but I’ve only tried once or twice.
I love the colors, the atmosphere, the clothes (boots and scarves!), and Halloween. Definitely Halloween!
I’m not sure, but I think opaque sound more appealing. Wouldn’t want the lip version of VNL going on. haha!
If I did, it wasn’t because of the breakup. I change my hair a lot.
My goals for November are just to focus more time on my blog, and learning to socialize more, and spend more time on my art. 🙂
No I haven’t taken any belly dancing lessons, maybe I will someday ^__^
I actually belly dance often because I own several different belly dancing exercise DVD’s. It’s really fun and it works out your entire body especially the core. It’s also a story behind each move which is fun to learn as well.
AAAAHHHH!! Look at all the Dolce and Gabbana!
Am I the only one dying for individual labels/swatches for ALL of their lipstick range? I’m dying to try it but I have to get it ordered in from the US!
The boldest lip I have in my bag right now is a Bite Cashmere Lip Creme in Sancerre. It’s gorgeous!
Oh my! I am dying for a spa day!!! I could really use it.
I’ve never tried belly dancing.. And I love fall because of scarves, mittens and bonnets. I love those type of accessories! 🙂
My ultimate favorite lip gloss is Buxom Full-On Lip Polish in Dolly 😉
I hate the winter……..
Need some new makeup!
The bold lipstick in my purse right now is Funny Face by Nars… I love it!
November goals: not to take things so personally at work, but still stand up for my rights and the hugest goal: PASS the NASM CPT exam in one week! EEK! If I pass, that will mean I can move on with my goal of changing careers.
I think my comment didn’t go through–November goals: PASS the NASM personal training test in about a week and not take things so personally at work (but still stand up for my rights).
I’m terrible at French braiding my own hair. I’m getting a little better with practice, but my hair is really thick and doesn’t cooperate at all. That’s why 90% of the time, it’s down or in a ponytail!
I love the fall season because it kicks off the holiday season.
Oooohh … I would love to win this giveaway! I am pretty hopeless at braiding my own hair! I keep seeing tutorials that say it’s easy, so I give it a go, and inevitably, I end up wearing a standard ponytail on those days;)
I can’t stop buying mulberry/wine colored evrrrything – help!
I always carry Revlon’s Siren in my purse.
My goal for November is to get all my holiday shopping done so I can enjoy December and not be running to the store with the crowds. A sephora gift card would be great to help with my gifting!
I can’t French braid my own hair. I just don’t have the skill!!
I would rather wear sheer lipgloss!!! Have a great weekend!!!!
I’d definitely rather wear opaque lipgloss! 😉
I have always wanted to be able to French braid my own hair! I can’t tell you the number of times I have tried and I always end up looking like a hot mess, lol, maybe someday!
Got a new lipstick RD304 from Shiseido today. Love it!
This is my favorite time of year because I love cozying up under a blanket and sipping hot chocolate! Have a great spa day!
Your looks have gone from great to smokin’ hot in the last few weeks. What’s your secret?
i wish i was different
I rediscovered a Dior dark red lipstick that I probably only wore once. Now its my go to fall color!
My birthday is on Monday, so I’ll be one year wiser, right?! With that, my November goal is to, of course, better myself. I’m talking physically and mentally! I want to meet new people, reconnect with old friends, put myself in uncomfortable (and safe) situations!
Gosh I would love to try belly dancing. And the new Sephora X nail system! If you have any recommendations on how to get a smooth nail polish that dries quickly and stays relatively chip-free for a few days, I am all ears.
Sadly I will be writing a paper tonight.
The bold lipstick in my purse right now is Revlon Super Lustrous in Wine with Everything. Yesterday I paired it with a red lip gloss and was feeling very bold, it’s the reddest I’ve ever gone. 🙂
My favorite bold lipstick at the moment is Wet n Wild’s Cherry Bomb. A great vampy red for fall!
The boldest lipstick in my purse is Elizabeth Arden in pink peony
I love breaking out the fall jackets, boots, and bold lip colors in the fall!
I’ve tried belly dancing and it’s pretty awesome. I think my fave part is wearing those belly skirts that jingle. LOL
I could French braid my hair when I was in middle school, but I haven’t tried since then!
The most interesting class I took was an Optimizing Human Health and Performance class.I thought it would be all textbook, but it ended with me doing a lot of extensive exercise.
I do have a Vivid Lipstick in My Purse and it’s Maybelline’s Color Sensational Vivid Rose.
I love the fall and the winter!
I’m eating Haagen Dazs strawberry ice cream right now 🙂 it’s the only fruity ice cream I like (and boy, do I!)
I got my puppy a pea coat. I never thought I would be buying clothes for my puppy >_<
I adore fall. It’s by far my favourite season. I love the weather as it isn’t too hot or too cold yet. I love the changing leaves and the fashion changes. The darker lipsticks and jewel-tones. Plus all the yummy food that starts with thanksgiving. 🙂
I love everything about fall! My favorite thing is, of course, Halloween, but I also love the crisp air and cooler weather.
I have Revlon’s Black Cherry lipstick in my purse right now.
I LOVE belly dancing! One of the few “exercises” I will engage in!!! So much fun, highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t given it a shot!
I have never tried belly dancing, worn a bold lipstick or french braided my own hair but they are all things that I have always wanted to do. Maybe those will be my goals for November 😀
My favorite lipstick at the moment is Milani’s Sangria and MAC Retro Matte in Relentlessly Red
The boldest lipstick I have right now is Black Metal Dahlia OCC lip tar.. and I LOVE it. I haven’t actually worn it out yet (waiting for the right time/outfit), but it is the PERFECT fall/vampire-y color and I can’t, can’t wait to finally wear it out! I haven’t been a very ‘bold’ girl before, but I’m ready now!
When I was young I belly danced and went around to company events, old folks homes and danced at a restaurant! It was a wonderful time!
I like the cold weather, especially cooler fall weather.
No belly dancing here!
I never learned how to french braid my own hair or anyone elses. I’ve tried watching videos but just can’t get the hang of it, and I really wanted to be able to for my daughter. She just gets a simple braid instead lol.
Always wanted to try belly dancing! It seems cool!
Yup could french braid and belly dance, however need to learn how to fish braid!
I don’t know about belly dancing, but ballet I’ve been “trying” for 18 years. Does it count? 🙂
I can’t french braid my own hair.
Love sephora
What tips would you give to a person who wants to start their own beauty blog?
The most memorable class I have taken was a figure drawing class.

Yes, I have two bold lipsticks in my purse. Urban Decay’s Venom and Manic 🙂 Have a great weekend 🙂
Good night… love yah! 😉
I’ve had so many memorable classes. My Life Management college class comes to mind. Our teacher was new. He was an older man changing careers. He was so good at teaching the class that anytime students would run into each other they would mention how great the class was.
i’m watching celebrity ghost stories and it’s one of the weirdest shows i’ve ever seen. i had to watch it after i saw aziz ansari’s new special “buried alive,” he has a hilarious bit about it. check it out, he’s awesome!
I dream of winning a $50 Sephora gift card and go shopping! Oh, what fun I would have.
I love sheer glosses 🙂
I do indeed have a bold lipstick in my purse right now, it’s NYX ‘Femme’. I wore this on my last two trips to the mall and got compliments on it both times!
Even when I am busy writing papers for my grad program (that I have put off until the very very last minute) –I find that the smell of MAC lipstick (Vegas Volt or Crosswires) and mascara (They’re Real by Benefit) is ALWAYS a good idea!!
I can French braid others’ hair, but never got the hang of doing it to myself!
My most memorable classes have been “American Literature: Women and Disabilities” and “Race, Class and Gender.” Really opened my eyes, and honestly changed my life!
My cat Dutchess Tea Time the British Shorthair is a big fan of Tabs! Visit Dutchy on youtube and come say hi 🙂
Hi! To start I LOVE starting my day reading your blog! Oh and how I adore tabs the cat I feel as though tabs and my kitty bubba have more personality than some people I’ve met lol. Dropping a comment for the giveaway but I WOULD LOVE to read about an answer to a question I’ve had for a while! How much foundation primer is too much?! I know it must seem fool proof but some days I just load it on it feels like! Lol silly question maybe but I do wonder your opinion! I love in the Bay Area one place I love to go with my in laws in Joes Crab Shack in sf ! Food is great the atmosphere is super lively and fun! Have a great Sunday doll!
The boldest lipstick I have is the Maybelline Bold Matte in fuchsia.. I forget the shade number. 😛 It’s a very bright neon pink, it quite scares me! lol
I love boots and colors in fall 🙂
Right now, I have MAC russian red although I really want to have MAC Riri hearts collection but it’s out of stock. Well just saying 🙂
I can french braid my hair, though it looks messy as I have layers in my hair..
I plan on losing some weight before my graduation in December!
This season I’m thinking about trying a dark fuschia lipgloss. Revlon has a pretty one out for fall. Have a great weekend!
Love your blog, always getting new ideas for a fraidy cat like me
Yay!
I’ve actually been loving a nude-ish lip lately, something I’ve never gravitated to before!!
When I french braid my hair it looks like I just tied weird knots in it lol
My goal for November is to eat no cheese (preferably no dairy but I already had milk– whoops!). I did it once for Lent and felt lighter and healthier.
French braiding happens to be one of my go to hairstyle when I am on the go.
I hope you had a great Halloween! 🙂
I love long walks and hot tea!
I have recently been loving Kat Von D lipstick called Mau5! Its this really dark pinky purple I love it so much! Its bold but not too crazy!
I wish I could do a halo twist with my hair, but fingers just will not cooperate1 🙁
I have a black lip gloss and a navy blue lipstick in my bag currently. The blue is from Halloween, but the black kind of lives in there. I wear it all the time to tone down and darken other lip colors.
My boldest lipstick in my collection is mac diva – I love the way it looks for fall but I’m not brave enough to wear it yet. My goal for November, wear it out at least once!
I have in my purse Dior Trafalgar lipstick right now !
My goals for november : prepare the perfect Xmas at home, in Brittany.
French braid ? What is this ? I know french fries, french toasts and french kiss, but french braid ? And I’m french what a shame !
My goal for November is to lose some weights and have a healthy eating habit
I have tried belly dancing! My roommate and I signed up for a free class at the women’s center back at college and had such a great time. Unfortunately, my hips don’t really pop.
I never won anything before!! Hope I’m lucky this time.
Ps. Belly Dancing is super difficult!
I love fall becuz of flannel sheets. makes me wanna stay in bed just a little longer!!!
I can French braid my hair. But right now it’s short, so that’s a no go! 🙂
I can’t French braid nor have I ever done belly dancing but it seems quite interesting. Maybe I’ll ad it to my to-do less. I think I fancy opaque ones more.
I don’t love fall here in Toronto – I feel like as soon as I blink, it’s already winter.
Missing the changing colours in Vancouver dearly. Pumpkin spice lattes help soothe the heartache considerably.
Belly dancing is my fave 🙂
I only carry around the lipstick that I’m wearing for the day. The last bold lipstick that I had on (bold for me) was Revlon Rum Raisin. I really like that color.
I have to be out of the house by 5:30 every morning so I never have time to put on makeup. On the rare occassions I get up in time to do it, it always makes my day go by immensely better. :), maybe because on those days I also have the extra time to drink a big mug of coffee with Heath Bar Coffee Creamer. MMM! That makeup looks amazing! I wish I wish I wish it could join me on those rare but lovely days!
I would love to wear a dark, fall lipstick, but I’m not sure it will look good on me, since I’m very pale.
What I love about fall is the change in mindset it gives me. I always get inspired around fall to work harder and appreciate how beautiful the season is.
I’ve always been curious about what beauty bloggers do with all of the makeup they’re sent. I’m sure you have an amazing collection, but do you keep everything? Hopefully you keep everything with the beautiful packaging like the D&G stuff 🙂
I am loving MAC Viva Glam I, such a perfect red for my skin tone!
I am laughing at the thought of me belly dancing! Anyway, I love fall. The humidity finally leaves North Florida and Christmas is around the corner. Yeah!
My bold lipstick that I have in my purse right now is the Urban Decay’s Revolution Lipstick in Bang. Such a perfect bold color of orange red!! Love it!!
I only did the post-breakup haircut once in college. It wasn’t bad, but I wouldn’t do it again. Glad those days are over!
I don’t wear lipstick!
I can’t french braid hair at all. I would like to learn how to knit this month.
I love my garden in fall: the mums!
I can’t french braid other people’s hair. At work when I french braid resident’s hair it does not look good.. but I can french braid my own hair just fine. No mirror either..
all the Sephora holiday sets are making me salivate!
I love everything about fall, the rainy days, walks in the park when the ground is wet, colors of tree leaves, warm cuddling by the fire place…it is amazing!
I know how to french plait but dont know how to apply makeup well 🙁
buying all Sephora with thiiiis!
I cannot French braid my own hair, but I really wish I could! I also want to learn to do a fishtail braid!
Do you have a favorite holiday set?
I’m SOOOO getting the purple/lilac D&G stunner in the top row, third from the right – it’s Sheer Shine Gloss in Pink Diamond 138. What a beautiful collection !
I can french braid my hair~
Could really use this gift card because I have two teenager daughters who will likely have Christmas lists filled with makeup, perfume, lotion etc.. requests!!
Been an exhausting week…can’t wait for midterms to be over!
Opaque lip gloss always. I prefer it sooo much to sheer
I will be lusting after D&G makeup all day now. 🙂
Thanks for the giveaway
I can french braid my own hair – ironically I am horrible at french braiding other people’s hair!
I can french braid my own hair. It’s the easiest way to hide a bad hair day and make it look like you tried! haha
Omg a massage sounds amazing!
Happy Sunday Funday! 🙂
I used to be a professional bellydancer!
Never tried belly dancing but would like to learn one of these days.
I *can* French braid my own hair, but not right now… I’ve got a pixie cut! 🙂
I would love to learn how to belly dance. I’ve taken other kinds of dance but never that.
Have you ever tried belly dancing? – Yes! Love it to pieces! I even have a blue coin skirt!
What’s the most memorable class you’ve ever taken? – To be honest, my Forestry class in high school was 50 shades of ridiculous. So so funny, so many memories of running around in the school forest with some of my best friends who I’m still close with to this day.
Can you French braid your own hair? – Yep, sure can!
What do you love about fall? – PUMPKIN EVERYTHING. Yes, in all caps. It’s that exciting.
Would you rather wear sheer or opaque lip gloss? – Sheer.
Have you ever cut your hair off after a breakup? – Omg, I wish I could say I’m not that person but I do change my hair after any big life event! My most recent breakup was followed by blunt, eyebrow-sweeping bangs a la Zooey Deschanel. It turned out really nice though, I ended up keeping them!
What are your November goals? – Finish my novel for Nanowrimo and transition smoothly between my seasonal jobs.
i’m most definitely eyeing everything Nars lately!
Thanks for the giveaway!
I would rather wear sheer lipgloss! And I haven’t tried belly dancing yet. Maybe in the future! 🙂
Well, I was hoping to continue my diet, but my son’s candy cauldron (yes, cauldron…his grandparents hooked him up) is calling my name. All those Snickers bars and Reese cups – I’m in trouble.
I have OCC strumpet in my purse right now!
My favorite thing about Fall is the colder (sweater) weather!
The boldest lip color I own is wet n wild vamp it up and my favorite thing about November is the transition to cold weather and Christmas!
November plans: Must. Start. Wedding. Planning. 🙂 we’re hoping to get married in church next November or December. I’m not a planner so I’m pretty lost on how to start. 😮
Hey Karen! Just went shopping at Charming Charlie’s. Do they have those in SanFran? You would love it. Bought way too much jewelry… oops.
Hope your week goes well!
I have one dramatic lipstick in my entire lipstick collection actually, which I do tote around in my purse. It is RiRi Woo. I have only worked up the courage to wear it a handful of times as I am typically a neutral lip/dramatic eye girl. But when I do wear it, it always brings on comments.
My bold lipstick in my purse is Model Co. Party Proof Lipstick in Disco Fever!
I sadly can not french braid my own hair :(.
I love that picture of the dolce and gabbana make up!
yay!
I’m drooling over the china glaze christmas polishes.
My go to red lipstick right now is Après Chic from MAC right now. Oh, and I never learned how to French braid, but I always wanted to.
Hi! I like the l’oreal paris infallible lipstick in ravishing red.
I love the loreal ravishing red lipstick.
I love fall not only because of the change in leaf colors, but also because of the overall transition. Change can be hard for people, but fall reminds us change is inevitable and it can be beautiful! It’s a seasonal, wardrobe, and makeup transition; and it’s a transition to remember to focus on your family and things to be grateful for if you celebrate Thanksgiving. I just love it for all of those things, and makeup-wise I love it for my new dark plum Urban Decay lipstick in the color “Venom!” 🙂
The lipstick I have in my purse is Backstage Bambi by Kat von D.
I’m loving Diva, Rebel and Flat Out Fabulous this fall! Love me some dark, purple and red tones
This month, I am going to try and wear some of the trendy berry-y red shades of lipstick. I have always been afraid of them, but they are just gorgeous for fall, so I’m excited to break out of my comfort zone and try something new!
Uh, I just had a makeup orgasm looking at that DG makeup. Wish we had it in Canada!
I’m thinking of picking up one of those D&G blushes during the VIB Sale… Trying to decide which color!! :))
I WISH!!! I could buy all the holiday collections this year. All the companies did such a good job!
I used to be able to French braid my own hair, but now it’s too short!
My goal for November is to treat myself better. What I eat, the types of activities I do, the way I talk to myself. I need to get myself back.
Most memorable class: College of Marin, Genetics. I still have the text book and have referred to it many times over the xx years since I took the class (I’m talking Mendel and his sweet peas days). If I had it to all over again I would have pursued a medical science career in genetics. Genetics remains fascinating to me to this day.
I had one horrible experience getting my hair cut, and wont let a soul touch it anymore. Im always dying and bleaching it, getting it really vivid colors and such, and ill go to someone to do that, but i just cant let someone cut it. Im terrified all my hair will be gone and ill have to have my neck shaved again!
I love seeing all the colourful leaves in Fall and go shopping for fall clothes & boots!
I can’t french braid my hair 🙁
Totally cut my hair off after a break up! I went from very long–about 2″ below bra strap level to a chin length bob, and I absolutely loved it! I kept that length for a few years until growing out again.
Thanks for doing this giveaway every week!
Just bought MAC’s Flair for Finery – Not sure how I feel about it yet. Underwhelmed?
I’m starting beauty school this month!
Fall is my favorite season of the year because no one comments on my obsession with cardigans 😉
Love the smell of fall! And the Sephora sale 🙂
the bold lipstick I have been carrying this fall is MAC rebel. I always feel perked up whenever I wear it
Hope you had a great Halloween.
Thanks for the giveaway, this is one of my favourite beauty blogs 🙂
saludos desde Madrid!
I’m so glad I stumbled across your blog! It’s a great one!
Your blog is hilarious!! Especially Tabs’ posts 😀
I’ve never commented before but I always come here to check that you’ve swatched something and given your take on a new product before I decide I’m sold on it! Keep up the bad… er.. good influence hehe 😀
I always appreciate your giveaway
I love everything about fall! Cool weather, leaves, pumpkin-flavored everything, apples, cider, Halloween, Thanksgiving!
My favorite thing about fall is warm starbucks chai lattes boots and scarfs. I also love walking around campus with the leaves changing colors, it makes me feel very collegiate.
I did belly dancing for 8 years.
My favorite thing about fall is the colors and the weather.
I can french braid my hair, but that’s about the fanciest thing I can do! Updos, dutch braids, teasing… all these things elude me.
The boldest lip colour in my purse right now is Rhubarb by Bite. Not sure if that is considered a bold or not.
I’m closing on our apt tomorrow – so freaked out!!!
I’ve never tried belly dancing. But I have *grown* out my hair after a break-up!
I totally cannot french braid my own hair 😛
Monica.
I CAN french braid my own hair…but not while belly dancing.
THanks for a great giveaway
one time my friend let her cat play with her makeup brushes and then used them to apply makeup on me. I’m (unfortunately) allergic to cats… my face swelled up.
I bellydanced for 3 years in college :D!
I like sheer lip gloss
Gotta love a good spa day! I’m going later this month for a pedi and my hair appt. So excited!
I actually have decided that I’m tired of waking up alone. Along with starting my criminal justice classes in the winter I’m going to have a wonderful man come into my life and put a ring on it at 49!
I had a great weekend…I found some great nail polishes from the gap and I found out that the JCPenny store next to my house has a “mini” Sephora in it!! I was so excited and I think I may have actually jumped around a little…lol
i want to go to culinary school
Wet n wild vamp it up is in my bag! and is my go to bold lipstick this fall!
Hi Karen! I have never learnt to belly dance but I really would love to. I’ve just never got round to it. Maybe it should be one of my November goals!
i love wearing boots in the fall!
If there’s one thing to love about Fall, it’s the transition to dark colors, after Halloween, then thanksgiving, my waistline can’t seem to catch a break. Lucky for me slimming colors come into season. There’s nothing quite like red lips & LBD combo, unfortunately they discontinued my go to lipstick. Which would you suggest for a bold red matte look?
My hair needs to grow faster!
I’ve cut my hair during a relationship and grown it out after the breakup.
I can’t even braid someone else’s hair, much less my own!
*French braid
I really hope that in November I’ll be able to get used to this new semester already, I’ve been going insane so far!
Could really use a pick-me-up!
I have a deep purple Clinique lipstick in my purse, but it doesn’t come out purple, just kind of a gloss. 🙁
Digicats {at} Sbcglobal {dot} Net

I love the cooler weather of fall and all the pumpkin flavored treats.
I love everything about fall: the cool weather, the overcast or rainy days, cuddling with blankets and apple cider, the leaves, the smells and pumpkin everything!
When ever i need to look up for mac product i come search here to do my homework
Hope you had a great Halloween!
I love those prizes!!! 🙂 Thanks for the oportunite!!:)
I love the beautiful colors on the trees during the fall.
I have never had the opportunity to learn to belly dance but would love to. I recently attended a mermaid belly dancing show and it was amazing!!! I heard you can tone your belly with this activity as well.
$50 would come in handy since I am needing a replacement head for my Clarisonic! 🙂
I can’t french braid, I can’t any braid. No matter how many Youtube vids I watch. My fingers just can’t operate right.
I love the fall weather. I love the cooler temperatures and seeing the trees change. I love Halloween and Thanksgiving and the windy, cool days 🙂
can’t frenchbraid with the fingers my momma gave me
Unfortunately, sheer glosses doesn’t work with my dark lips 🙁 so I always go for opaque lip glosses 😉
Ohhhhh anything you do with your friends just rocks no matter what is it, so haveeeee lotssss of funnnn 😉
I love fall sooo much because of that cool breeze against your face and the coziness of jackets.
I do french braid my bangs, and I have a red matte lancôme lipstick and I luv it
I can only do a basic braid; I get so jealous when I see my 10 year old cousin doing every sort of braid like a pro. She’s awesome.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
I have a couple Bold lipsticks in my purse – OCC liptars in Pretty Boy and Strumpent. Also mildly bold MAC Lustering.
But it is Monday, not a bold day so I am wearing my usual Nars Dolce Vita.
Oh and I can french braid my own hair (when it is long enough) but I have trouble french braiding my daughters(her hair is thick by silky fine).
I just tried Starbucks Caramel Spice Latte for the first time – love! My fall favorite. <3
I can french braid my own hair, I never cut it off after a breakup, the best part about fall is HALLOWEEN, and my most memorable class was karate – I worked really hard and was the only one in my class to finish (4.5 years) with a black belt. That was 9 years ago and I wish life didn’t get in the way; I think about going back a LOT.
I cannot french braid my hair 🙂
The bold lipstick in my purse right now alternates between Bite beauty lipstick in VIB Rouge and MAC retro matte lipstick in flat out fabulous. I love them both!
I’m a Sephora addict. Yes, it’s true! 🙂 Great giveaway!
I can’t french braid my hair and I like opaque lipsticks better because my lips are dark.
I have Ruby Woo in my purse! I wore it on Halloween (As Mary Poppins) and have yet to take it out. If I could wear it every day I would.
Hi Karen,
Love your blog! I visit it every single day (because I love Tabs too)!
Thanks for the giveaway
I absolutely love the weather in the Fall and all the great fashion and makeup trends that come with the season too!
Oh how I love Sephora!
Love Stila’s lipstick in Vivienne! Hope I get lucky and win this giveaway. Thanks!
I’ve never been able to french braid my own hair and I don’t have much reason to learn now that I have a short Louise Brooks bob. 🙂
I went to Vegas for my bros 40th. We had a great time.
I adopted 2 cats from a local shelter this weekend!
Best part of fall are all the gorgeous polish collections!
I would love to learn how to french braid my own hair.. but whenever I try practicing.. my arms get tired pretty easily!.. 😀
Fall for me is drinking hot chocolate and listening to the rain.
I bet I could French braid my hair while belly dancing , cause I’ve done both!
i have been wearing pretty bold lip colors lately (hello dark plums/burgundy 90’s revival!), but my absolute favorite BOLD color that i’ve been carrying around is mac’s neon orange- this stuff is seriously glow in the dark neon! love the blog!
I totally suck at french braiding. (mine or anybody else’s hair) =(
The Tabs bobblehead is the bomb diggety!
Hope you had a great weekend, Karen!
I really don’t like Mondays. Ugh. Every monday I wish I could win the lottery and just stay home. lol.
I adore pumpkin coffee in the fall and drink it just about every day. belly dance classes are a ton of fun but my instructor retired and haven’t looked for a new instructor.
I wish we had a defined fall season where I love!
My hubs & I took our 2 dogs to the woods to walk around Saturday, and we’ve since pulled off no less than 20 ticks from their fur! Very upset am I!!!
I’ve never done belly dance karen, but I think so beautiful clothes of the dancers.
I plan to be even better in November to improve spiritually, not saving hurts, do not think about bad things, learn more about my work, that my friendships are stronger, I conquer my plans, my blog grow more and I reap good fruit
Oh I wish much success and many achievements for vc karen, you’re my mirror Love your blog and love tabbys
the most memorable class i ever took was a shakespeare course in college. i learned so much about the plays and myself! just a fantastic experience!
I have a purple and coral/ orange lipstick that I have yet to wear out I just need to perfect occasion to rock such a bold lip.
I can’t even regular braid my hair, so French braiding is out of the question. I am so hopeless with my hair.
I’m watching Shaun of the Dead.
Loved Archangel’s Legion by Nalini Singh
I’m okay at French braiding my own hair but I am better at Dutch braiding. I don’t really like how it looks though
I can French braid my own hair and I love French braiding other people’s hair as well! It’s fun and quick to do if I don’t feel like doing much with my hair that morning.
Thanks for the great giveaway!
i cut off my hair after a break up ONCE and never again.. learned my lesson
Yes…I’ve actually tried belly dancing. Sometimes in my Zumba class, they incorporate some belly dancing. It’s fun!! As far as bold lip colors, I always have MAC Costa Chic in my makeup bag. It’s pretty bright, but I love it!! Thanks for another giveaway Karen!!
Tried belly dancing before, but it’s not that exciting learning how to dance. But its great once you’ve master it and you can show off some great moves. I can’t wait to get my 20% VIB discount at Sephora!!!!
i have enough problems trying to regular braid my hair (i can never get 3 strands the same thickness; there’s always 1 strand that’s crazy thin), much less french braid. :-/
I just got the limited edition laura mercier artist’s palette from Sephora this week and I love it!
I have tried belly dancing before, but my balance is terrible so it did not work well. I have multiple bold lipsticks in my purse. I currently have venom, and jilted by urban decay as well up the amp, and ruby woo by mac. I even have so berry sexy by too faced. I cannot french braid at all. I love how minestrone soup tastes in the fall. Opaque lip gloss all the way for sure. I have not cut my hair (other than a trim) in years. My november goals all concern the anime convention that I help staff. Being the vice-director of a department means that I have to submit my yearly budget soon as our convention has just happened this weekend.
eek! no belly dancing for me! I don’t have the “guts” for that!
i love scarves for fall
I definitely had a bold lipstick in, well, my shirt pocket yesterday. (No purse for me.) I layered the new Revlon Matte Balm in Shameless (the deep true purple which is impressive in a drugstore line) with the new Maybelline Color Elixir in Vision in Violet over top. Such an intense truly purple lip. It looked brilliant…for a few hours. Then I had something happen to me that I’ve heard of but never experienced: lipcolor bleeding. Real bad. I’m not sure if it was the Elixir or the Matte Balm, but I’m thinking it was the former. And the hot pink stain it left on my lips was somewhat undesirable. …but it was nice while it lasted! 😛
happy monday! can’t wait for the sephora VIB sale!
Another generous giveaway, thanks!!
Hell, yes, I cut all my hair off after a breakup! My asshat ex-husband insisted I looked awful with short hair, and so wouldn’t let me cut it no matter how much I wanted to. (Mind, this is the ass who spent all our money on dates with other women, and wouldn’t give me enough money to buy my asthma prescriptions. I finally learned not to eat so I could get my medicines. He’s a monster.) As soon as he kicked me out–if I’d left, I’d probably be dead–I chopped it off and have never looked back.
I’ve always wanted to try belly dancing, but have only relied on online videos!
Thanks as always for the giveaway! It’s my mom’s birthday month, and I’d love to treat her to a Sephora shopping spree! 😉
my nov goal is to lose 9 lbs!thank u
awesome giveaway. fall is my favorite time of the year because I love to see the leaves changing.. and its my bday!
Sephora is my fave! Would love a gift card, thanks Karen!
I love everything about Fall… the weather, the colors, the holidays….
Hey! The boldest lipstick I own is Mac So Chaud.
Why can’t I find a red lipstick that works for me?
