It was a whirlwind backpack adventure across the continent of Europe (complete with hidden diamonds and sleeper train car rides), and the year was 2005…
That’s when I first discovered the Boots No7 beauty line.
El Hub was El Boyfriend at the time, and neither one of us had ever been to Europe before, so we crammed as many countries into our 16-day trip as possible, and one of them was England.
This was also the trip when El Hub asked me to marry him (he sneaked the ring over on the plane hidden in his contact lens case), and if I learned anything on that trip, it was this: if a man willingly allows you to drag him into every pharmacy and drugstore you pass on your vacation just so you can look at beauty products…you better put a ring on that! LOL!
When we arrived in London toward the end of our trip, I discovered Boots No7, and they were EVERYWHERE, but I’d never seen or heard of them before in the U.S., so they were très exotic and interesting to me. Intrigued, I brought home — I kid you not — five full-size bottles of Boots No7 lotion, and I was crushed when I finally finished the last one back at home months later. *tear* 🙁
Fast forward to now, and Boots No7 is also here in the U.S. (and has been for a while). Target carries an extensive selection from the brand, which has a huge range of affordable hypoallergenic products, including makeup, skincare and body care products.
I don’t know if you’re familiar with the brand, but if you’ve been wanting to give them a try, maybe I can help. I’ve partnered with Boots Beauty USA on this here giveaway for their No7 Skincare #MyBestSkin Campaign, and I’m also putting the finishing touches on a Boots No7 purple holiday-ready smoky eye tutorial (here’s a link to the tutorial!).

I’ve noticed a lot of interesting ingredients in their products, especially in their skincare, and the brand is well known for their anti-aging serums, all of which have earned the Good Housekeeping Seal here in the U.S.
They have four main anti-aging categories, each one with a different serum, and I’m giving away one of each.
Because I’m preggers right now, I’m not really using any anti-aging skincare (just keeping it simple with basic moisturizer and sunscreen), but when Baby Girl arrives in March, I’m all over these. Maybe if you win you can tell me how they worked for you.
PRIZE #1: Boots No 7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Anti-Aging Serum ($24.99 value)
This one is supposed to protect your skin for the future, while also keeping you looking younger longer. It’s powdered by something Boots calls their Anti-Aging Complex, which has Matrixyl 3000 Plus™, an antioxidant to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, as well as retinol, alfalfa and rice peptides.
And it also contains salicylic acid and vitamin C for clearer, more radiant skin.
PRIZE #2: Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Anti-Aging Serum ($29.99 value)
This is the serum designed to deal with deeper lines and wrinkles, and it also contains No7’s Anti-Aging Complex with Matrixyl 3000 Plus™ and retinol, along with hyaluronic acid for firming and moisturizing, and vitamins C and E.

PRIZE #3: Boots No7 Luminate Day & Night Serum ($26.99 value)
Boots says that this serum duo, which also contains the brand’s Anti-Aging Complex, tackles three of the most significant visible signs of aging: wrinkles, lack of firmness and uneven skin tone, and it’s a set that comes with a brightening day serum to diminish the appearance of age spots, as well as a firming complex to smooth and firm the skin. And then the night serum hydrates and encourages exfoliation.
PRIZE #4: Boots No7 Restore & Renew Day & Night Serum ($26.99 value)
Like the Luminate Day & Night serum, this one is also a set that comes with a serum for day and a serum for night, and it, too, contains the the brand’s Anti-Aging Complex. Both the day and night serums are designed to work together to target five signs of aging in mature skin — lines and wrinkles, lack of firmness, uneven pigmentation, fragility and dullness, so it’s like the jack of all trades.

I haven’t really tried Boots before but my mom loves their stuff. I have a lotion from them. The first serum sounds (prize 1) perfect for my skin especially with the salicylic acid and vitamin C! I may just buy it if I don’t win! Lol.
It was probably a good thing I wasn’t hardcore into makeup when I went overseas…or I would have gone crazy for all the exclusive brands we don’t have here in the states!
I keep looking at Boots whenever I go to Target & just haven’t tried any of their products yet which I’m slightly ashamed of as an anglophile & makeup lover! I like the first serum but I would be happy with any of them! #bestskincare

I’d like to try the Boots line. The #2 serum looks like the best choice for me.
Boots No.7 and Botanics are sold at most Wallgreens out East. I have used the Beautiful Skin cleansing balm during the cold winter last year and will be stocking up soon. I also use the night cream for very dry skin. I like the products and the price point as well. I haven’t used the serums, but I am sure any of them are good.
#4 because it’s considered the jack of all trades! More bang for the buck : – )

I loved botanicals for at least three empties till I had product memory lapse and my unfaithful heart went by a Macy’s counter. I should prolly switch back, my wallet would thank me.

I’d love to try #3 luminate day and night serums. My favorite eye cream to wear under make up is their lift and luminate eye cream! It makes my under eye area so soft and hydrated but not greasy.
I haven’t really tried Boots before. I’d love to try the first serum, “Boots No 7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Anti-Aging Serum”. Its perfect for my skin especially with the Salicylic acid. My skin is acne prone and Salicylic acid usually clears all by break-outs.
All of them sound great to try out, but I think I would like #4. I haven’t tried this line before and am eager to give it a shot! 🙂

I’m a fan of the Boots No 7 skincare line! I’ve only tried their lotion cleanser and their alcohol-free toner, but I’ve repurchased the toner about 4 times over now. I also have a few of their lipsticks I really love.
I would love to try the #2 Advanced Serum, because I recently introduced a retinol night moisturizer but still don’t have a serum to go with it, and hyaluronic acid is right up my alley. Also they get huge points in my book for their packaging!

I discovered Boots in London too! They’ve got great budget friendly skin care. I’d love to try the Luminate set, the weather up in Reno is so much drier!
I;ve first encountered Boots in 2007 at Target, Ive always loved them and I remember when they first came out, I was the first one to go to Target and grab one of the No. 7’s. A few years later I got lured by pricier brands but I’ve always loved Boots. I would love to try the Luminate one but either one is fine by me. Glad you have this on here.
Both serums (1&2) sound amazing. If I had to choose probably the first one as my skin can be a little sensitive to strong anti aging products. I do love me a good serum though!!
