I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We spent ours with family friends who invited us over for a full spread with turkey and all the fixings! I can’t even begin to tell you how nice it was to sit at a table and just chat and eat. Seriously, I don’t think I’ll ever take having a meal with people for granted ever again. It really is a gift to share food and time with others.
Before we left for dinner last night, I was getting dressed and had a moment when I actually contemplated non-stretchy pants, aka jeans, LOL! Yeah, I don’t know what I was thinking. Ooooo, always in the market for stretchy pants. I bought some lounge wear from Cuddl Duds this week. My black Friday beauty shopping is a new face sunscreen from Clinique since Vanicream reformulated theirs, a new blow dryer from Bed Head for wavy and curly hair, and a bunch of haircare from a brand called FragFre I’ve been liking.
Other Black Friday online shopping included some new combat boots since mine are in bad shape, using up a store credit at Zenni Optical for some purple eyeglasses, and a pair of fleece leggings. Also bought some vinyl records for my husband. Oh and I bought a new-to-me purse on Poshmark I’m excited about.
Thanksgiving was nice – we also put some stuff together for a gift for my parents’ 40th anniversary that’s in a few days. Saw my grandpa too.
