Oh pick me pick me! I love making snow angels! I do it as an adult. I don’t care what people think of me. The last time was 3 years ago though in Germany. I love playing in the snow with my dog. He likes to leap from hole he makes to the other. He loves snowball fights. He always eats my snowman noses though.
wow that’s a lot of makeup! I would definitely keep some and donate some to Dress for Success. Have you heard about them? They help women in need prepare for job interviews. They accept profession clothing and shoes and makeup (unused) to help them prepare for their big day. I think that’s such a great idea!

Have you ever played beach volleyball? no, I’m not that coordinated to attempt to play volleyball much less in the sand.
Why do birds sing? no clue but your question reminds me of the movie Tarzan which I watched recently. One of his skills is to make bird sounds and they are pretty darn accurate. good movie, highly recommend, and it doesn’t hurt that Tarzan is a hunk 😉
How do YOU make a grilled cheese sandwich? on a skillet with buttered bread, both sides, sharp cheddar cheese and I use a flat spatula to press it like a panini 🙂
What’s your most-used makeup brush? probably my blush brush. I don’t use too much face makeup but blush is a must so I use it every day. it’s also small enough to work with high lighter so I use it for both!

Haha, I have made a snow angel, haven’t played beach volleyball and in the spirit of random answers I wanted to share that since I’m not really celebrating Thanksgiving this year I’ve decided to make donations to Foster Campbell, Planned Parenthood, and Standing Rock, because I really need some positivity right now.

Anything that gets me out in the snow I am all for. The bright, crisp air is something glorious to take in, for me anyways. I know several friends who could go all their lives never “dealing” with snow again. Not me. Bring it! Afterwards, hot coco, lots of candles(in substitution for a fireplace) and warm snuggles from my two kittens. Grown kittens 🙂
I am usually super rushed in the mornings for work, now more than ever as I will have to take the extra step to start the car a few minutes early to warm up the engine, so my makeup routine is as follows: moisturizer, concealer, brows.. lots of brows, bronzer, blush and a bit of mascara. Boom Shaka-Laka DONE! I love Real Technique brushes and have more on my Christmas list. I also have a few ELF brushes in my collection- they are sold at my grocery store! Strategy on POINT, ELF!

I make my kids grilled cheese sandwiches by putting two slices of bread with a slice of cheese each in the toaster oven for a few minutes. Then I pull them out and smush them together. Less calories then making them with butter in a pan and a smaller chance of me burning them!

Okay, I honestly got excited about the grilled cheese question. My grilled cheese sandwiches literally take 4 minutes to make. I have a heat-up skillet, I drop Parkay butter down, I drop the cheese sandwich down, let it brown a bit and then flip and repeat. I’m really weird though because I like to eat my grilled cheese with ketchup. GRROSSSS, I’ve heard it all before.
Anyway, I just wanted to thank for having this site. I’m a college student, and trying to stay on the Dean’s List, so unfortunately I don’t have time to keep up with launches and new products. I always peruse your site when I’m at work, and I feel so much better after I do.
I’m currently studying English Lit with a minor in Studio Art (conceptual) and Journalism. I’m hoping to kind of do what you do, contemporary reporting. I know you focus on, ultimately, lifestyle reporting (or blogging), I definitely want my focus to be on cultural reporting. Fingers crossed I get picked for the journalism study abroad next semester–I’ll be reporting from India!!!

Well, to answer your questions, yes, I’ve made snow angels back when I was a child but I haven’t really been in a snowy environment since then so I haven’t made snow angels as a teenager/adult… sadly…
No, I’ve never played beach volleyball. Any kind of sports in the sand kinda makes me tired just by looking at someone else playing.
I make cheese grilled sandwiches by getting two slices of bread, two slices of cheese and then putting it all together and then putting it inside this mini oven that is, like, so useful. Best thing I’ve ever bought.
My most used makeup brush is probably this flat eyeshadow brush from Catrice that is absolutely amazing. I use it everytime I do my makeup. I also wash it almost everyday so I have a feeling it won’t last long.

Oh pick me! This tired mama could sure use a makeup gift! My favorite grilled cheese is first, 1 I get to finish for myself! Haha. I have 4 kids, 5 and under. My oldest is autistic ..so it’s always crazy around here. I also work full time night shift at a Trauma 1 center. But back to the grilled cheese. . I love buffalo sauce, a fresh tomato slice, muenster (sp?) Cheese on a very seedy bread…all grilled up! That would be my fave. But I also love pepper jack with jalapeños and ham! I read in a magazine years ago to spread a thin layer of mayo on the bread instead of butter. Did it once and never looked back. You get that really even, golden crunchy crust (think perfectly grilled you’d get an an old school diner). I also like yellow tomatoes to add some sweetness. I urge you to try it just once.

Karen this is such a generous giveaway! I did make a snow angel one year I think that I was in middle school. It was somewhat fun in the moment but once you still there a few minutes in the freezing snow you begin to wonder why this is something that people do! Haha
I’ve made a snow angel before when I was visiting Japan! My grandparents lived there in the country, and it would snow like crazy! There were foxes and other critters that would come out to play too.
Southern California doesn’t really let snow angels happen…

I’ve never made a snow angel but I do make a mean grilled cheese. I melt some butter in a small pan with a smashed garlic clove. I brush my bread (sourdough or Italian are always good!) with the now garlic infused melted butter. I than slice a tomato paper thin and pile assorted shredded Italian cheeses (mozzarella, asiago, Provolone, Parmigiano-Reggiano, Fontina – whatever I have on hand) on my bread which I than toast to golden,yummy,crunchy melty perfection! Oh, and same thing only with sharp cheddar and bacon and tomato is great too!
Speaking of peanuts, I made homemade Pad Thai last night. So easy and super yummy!

I make a grilled cheese by putting a garlic butter spread on both sides add cheese in middle usually two diff types usually some. Chopped bacon and either put on George foreman grill or in heated pan and wait every so often to flip and check. Sooo good.

It’s been years since I’ve made a snow angel. Living in Los Angeles I can successfully avoid being cold and wet most of the year. I really like the idea of snow more than in actuality.
Beach Volleyball. Every time I see it on TV all I can think of is the time I saw naked people on a “nude” beach in Rhode Island playing. Everyone was overweight and it was not a pretty sight!!
We make our grilled cheese sandwiches with mayonnaise instead of butter it makes the perfect crispy crust and yummy taste.

I live in north Texas, so snow angels aren’t really something I’ve had too many opportunities to make. That being said, I’ve had a few chances. They’re more like sleet angels though. (: I’ve actually been searching for the perfect grilled cheese! I like multiple types of cheese… asiago, feta, Jack, all of it!

Gurl, let me tell you! Serious Eats changed my LIFE. I now grill both sides of the bread when I make grilled cheese. I use salted butter for a golden crust, potato bread and vermont white cheddar–melty and tangy.
I try to make a snow angel at least once a year! It isn’t hard to do when you live in Canada and the snow just won’t stop falling. 🙂

She was 19 years old . With so many ailments she survived she started being incontentent w tarry stools ; she had been on a steroid because of her immuno – suppressive disorder , and I think they were helping her but also working against her !

My quick and easy (non gourmet) way of making grilled cheese involves toasting bread and buttering it, then putting slices of cheese in between the bread slices and zapping it in the microwave! Quick and easy but not as good as actually grilling the sandwich.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I’d like to share what I’m thankful for. Today (and every day) I’m thankful for our 2 year old chihuahua/terrier mix, Foxy. My hubby and I adopted her in February. She is my heart and after all that she’s been through, she still has so much love to give. Thank goodness for fur-babies!! ??? I’m so grateful for their unconditional love.

I have never made a snow angel since I live in Hawaii. But I will be going to Arizona this Christmas and hopefully I will get to. I have played volleyball, but not on the beach. I guess birds sing because they want to hear themselves. I have made a grilled cheese sandwich, but it never comes out like the ones in a restaurant. My most-used makeup brush? It’s a brush I got with a Clinique gift set a million years ago when I was in college. I love it for blush! Later on I saw them in a flea market by me for $1 so I bought some more but one of them had to be thrown out because the bristles fell out after so many years. Great giveaway! 🙂
I used to love making snow angels when I grew up in the northeast, but we don’t ever get enough snow in Austin to do them.

The last time I made a snow angel I was in Chicago (I live in Atlanta, and our snow just isn’t the same). I was wearing a less than warm wool coat, and decided that it would be a good idea to do this snow angel. It was not a good idea. Immediately, I knew it was a poor choice. I waved my feet and arms to make it “worth it” and got up to run around in circles, like a puppy, to warm up a bit.
In short, for this Atlantan, snow angels are best left to the experts and kids.
It’s not on a beach, but I’ve been playing in a sand volleyball league for three summers now… And it is still super duper tough for me!! It’s like playing with 200 extra pounds on you ? but I still love it! It’s such a great workout and it is competitive.

Your question brought me back to Memorial day weekend when I was 15. I was camping with my best friend and her family and we were playing beach volleyball and flirting with boys. Lol. What a giveaway‼️ I am sure that you have many things to be thankful for with Sweet Pea being at the top of the list. I am thankful that my husband has come through some pretty severe infections after a shoulder surgery in August. Plus I am thankful for all of the doctors, nurses and techs that helped him get better. But most of all I am thankful for what I have because so many have so very much less.

I’ve made many snow angels (I am from the far far north). Most memorable snow angel was when I was a kid, playing with my sister and she dumped a pile of snow in my face, mid-angeling. It was one of the coldest days of the year (-35C), and I was so stunned (I was usually the bratty one).
I bought both Warm and Cool Tom Ford Soleil Eye and Cheek Palettes but I’m on the fence about the colors. 🙁
I assist a wedding planner – I get all the great jobs- greeting the bride and groom, making flower arrangements, doing the table scapes and I love every second of it! Oh and did I mention I live on Maui, and 99% of these are sunset beach weddings?!?! My cup runneth over –

My cat doesn’t like boxes! The Internet assured me that when I got a cat, he would sit in boxes and look adorable. Whenever I order something online I always let him have a go at the box before I recycle it but he’s just never been into it. Have you ever played beach volleyball?: Nope, but I have played it in school. Volleyball, that is.

How do YOU make a grilled cheese sandwich?: I love grilled cheese and I'm rather proud of my skills. I use Italian bread and put mayo where I would butter it because this makes the bread crisp and brown much more evenly, it's less greasy, and it's some added flavor! Then I use muenster or swiss or colby jack- any cheese except American! Or Velveeta, or something.

One of the best ways to make a grilled cheese sandwich is to put a little bit of butter on the outside of both pieces of bread, drop it in a moderately warm pan and then melt garlic and herb slices in between them. Delish!
My favorite makeup brush is my hakuhodo j104, tho I honestly love anything hakuhodo Wayne goss or chikuhodo, they’re like rubbing makeup on with kittens on my face!

My most used brush is definitely the eco tools bronzer brush!! It’s amazing and I use for all powder; foundation, bronzer, setting powder…. I also really love the too faced retractable face brush. Since you twist it up and down rather than push, you can use it at any stage. Meaning, if you want a really dense brush twist it until it’s almost down, and if you want a fluffier less dense brush twist it all the way out! I apply with it dense then twist it out to blend.

Wowza! That’s ALOT of makeup!!!
I make fabulous grilled cheeses! I use real butter (of course) and I cook them in a small(ish) skillet – on medium – high heat. I generously butter two slices of whole grain bread and I usually use good quality Colby cheese. The best part — is the garlic salt— sprinkle it on one side of the buttered bread. Toast on both sides until golden brown!!!!! YUM!!!

My most used makeup brush is a flat eyeshadow brush by a local indian brush.. it is dirt cheap..
But great for packing on eyeshadow. . Works for smudging eyeshadow on the lower lashline and for doing natural eyebrows look too!
All that fantastic makeup in all its gloriousness would make such a wonderful beauty blanket this holiday season!!! The BEST way to make a grilled cheese sandwich, in my experience, having a vegetarian best friend who makes them at least once a week and has sampled grilled cheeses from all 50 states, is to get great bread first. The asiago demi from Panera is perfect!!! crunchy with extra cheesy flavor. Then, use good cheese. No plastic wrapped cheeses!!! This doesn’t mean it has to be expensive, Aldi has great, high-quality cheeses at great prices during the holidays. My personal favorite would be a mix of gruyere and jack cheeses. Lastly, but very importantly, heat plenty of butter in a skillet at medium heat. Trust me, it’s worth it. To get a nice, crispy outside, you can always put a brick or other somewhat heavy, small object (wrapped in tin foil)on top of the sandwich while cooking. Finish with a bowl of tomato basil soup, a cuddly blanket and a Gilmore Girls marathon and you’re set!!!! : )

As for grilled cheese…I’m the Mistress of the Skillet! White bread, real cheddar cheese slices (never processed!) plus 3 strips of perfectly crisp bacon (oven baked always!)…all smothered in lots of real butter…YES butter my friends, it’s the only way!

I’ve never made a snow angel before because I’ve never seen snow! I’m from Texas so I’m used to warm winters.
The brush that gets the most use is my angled eyeliner brush, except I use it for my brows! Even if I don’t wear any other makeup, I always fill in my eyebrows.

Peaches and sweet chilli sauce makes a delicious grilled cheese and my most used makeup ‘brush’ is actually a beauty blender. I love it, but that feeling of sitting down to do makeup then getting up again to wet the beauty blender is a plague upon my mornings!

Toast bread, butter bread, slice of Kraft cheese in between the two pieces, microwave for about 8 seconds, flatten and eat. Lol *chomp*

I do make grilled cheese but I also make a grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwich and it’s amazing! I make a traditional pb&j and put butter on the outside. Don’t use too much pb&j cause as it warms it leaks out. Then I just grill it and it’s fantastic!

Wow what a giveaway! Never played beach volleyball, but did play volleyball for a couple of years at school. I used to spend a lot of time on my knees, which wasn’t too bad when we were playing on grass, but was a bit ouchy when playing in a gym. Also used to get my thumbs bent back. A lot. don’t do that anymore!

I’m normally a classic grilled cheese sandwich kind of gal, but I found a recipe that adds spinach, mozzarella cheese, tomato, sour cream, ham and marinated artichoke hearts. All you do cook some ham in your pan with your bread, then you need to microwave the artichoke heart and spinach in a bowl for 2 minutes and as soon as that’s done, you add sour cream and mozzarella cheese and mix so the cheese melts. Add this to your bread with ham and top with a tomato! so delicious!!!

I don’t like Thanksgiving food, except for stuffing and gravy. I’d rather have roast beef or roast chicken over turkey. I hate pumpkin and sweet potatoes. I’d rather do Appetizers for Dinner at Thanksgiving.

My favorite way to make a grilled cheese sandwich is to use Gruyere cheese. Mmmm… it tastes the absolute best!

As for the questions you’ve asked, I would like to add that I have a parrot named Adam. Though Adam doesn’t technically sing (that would’ve been amazing), he does know how to say words. My mother taught him how to say Mommy’s Rose in Turkish and now whenever we say it, he says it too. Its absolutely adorable. Also, I can not wait till it snows here and I can go back to playing with the snow and just feeling the soft, fluffy snow melt inside my hands. I love the cold and the white just adds to the joy of this season. I can’t wait to drink my hot cocoa and just read a book and watch out my window at the falling snow.

I grew up in Wisconsin where snow was feet instead of inches. Snow angels were a given and one would disappear in the snow while making them. Sledding was a blast on huge hills that are now gone and made into housing! We never made up school days but once did have optional school on a Saturday which was a joke but fun as we had graham crackers and milk while watching cartoons on TVs that were wheeled into classrooms.

This is Amazing!! I love big powder brushes!! It is my favorite kind of brushes for either powder or bronzer! I have made snow angels but I don’t do snow anymore lol I stay in my nice cozy house with a heating blanket on high!! I have never played beach volleyball and don’t plan on it. I not a sports person. I honestly love these random questions!

Yes! I love making snow angels!!! I really wish we could have snow but slightly warmer weather! It’s just getting cold enough for me to be uncomfortable outside and desire a warm fire with a cup of hot cocoa!

Awesome giveaway!!! I make my grilled cheese with any cheese I have left, butter and white bread. First put butter in pan and then put sandwich down and flatten and then turn it over lol I used to make it with an iron and foil!! So fun
Wow I feel like there are so many random things I could mention, I don’t know where to start. I used to make snow angels all of the time when I lived somewhere that it actually snowed. I have an obsession with nail polish… I literally can’t go into a store that sells it without buying some. This also leads me to have A LOT of very similar colors because I can’t remember what I already have, lol! My son is the most important person in the world to me and he makes me laugh daily. I love all of my mommy friends and we have a great time when we can finally get together. I love coffee, wine, cheese, and tiramisu… but not necessarily in that order 🙂

I made my first snow angel 17 years ago when I visit my in-law in upstate NY. I am vertically challenged but I love a game of beach volleyball. I love that you ask random questions because sometimes I am loss for words.
Ok, so I make a kind of weird Grilled Cheese Sandwich! 1st and most important is a huge blob of butter (it has to be real butter, none of the fake stuff!) Then the inside bread slices are coated with mustard and then thinly sliced tomatoes are laid across. Then, of course, is the cheese…none of that fake cheese real Vermont Cheddar! Then I put it in the buttered pan and when it’s time to flip another big blob of butter goes down. I actually try to convince myself that it’s healthy because it does have the tomatoes in it! LOL!
This truly would be the most amazing thing in the world. I was diagnosed with a very serious illness when I was only 11 years old, and I’m 24 now. This illness makes me gain/lose weight like crazy, makes my skin break out, and worst of all, makes my hair fall out. I love makeup so much because even when I’m feeling my worst, it still can make me look my best. The only problem, with all the medical, Dr and prescription bills, I can’t afford to buy the makeup I need. So this would honestly be the most amazing thing ever. I have made a snow angel, I’ve played beach volleyball, as well as court & pool volleyball, birds sing because they are super happy they can fly, I make grilled cheese by buttering the outside of 2 pieces of bread and layering 2 American cheese slices in the middle and grilling in a pan on the stove, my most used makeup brush is the Luxie blending brush, the smaller one (it’s not with me so I’m not sure the #), & random ?’s make life interesting and fun! =)

I’ve made snow angels when we visited the mountains and it was snowing with the kids. Beach Volleyball is a must to play when your at the beach especially when we go and stay the week.
