My fall bucket list!
- Try a new chili recipe (I’ve got my eye on this one), and then make enough to share with my neighbors.
- Bake brownies, and perhaps share those with the neighbors, too, when I drop off the chili.
- Go on a long hike, then come home and drink hot apple cider.
- Buy an epic pair of rain boots.
- Go for a walk with Marnie and stomp into a pile of leaves with those epic rain boots.
- Snuggle into a warm, cozy sweater that makes me feel amazing when I wear it. Side note, is it just me, or is it surprisingly difficult to find a sweater that fits well and ticks all the boxes? Every time I try one on, I find at least 5 things that I want to change.
- Handwrite a few letters on nice stationary and send them via snail mail.
- Watch a classic musical wearing my coziest pajamas; of course a snuggly blanket will be up in the mix, too.
- Find a soft, brightly colored scarf; perhaps one that has a matching hat, ideally with a pompom on top.
- Drink hot tea from my favorite cup and saucer on a rainy afternoon while I read a new book.
- And because I need to add at least one beauty-related item on this list, I really want to get my skin care routine in check because it has been truly chaotic!

What’s on your fall bucket list?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Well, all of these sound delightful! If only the temps would drop below 80.😔 My mom and I like to get together and binge watch Gilmore Girls in the fall. With treats and **lots** of commentary, of course.
That cup and saucer is adorable. Sweaters are so hit and miss for me too. One store I really like for a good sweater that holds up at least 3 seasons is COS. They make good ones. I’m broad shouldered and curvy and can usually find a flattering sweater there.
My fall bucket list currently involves: knitting, reading, drinking lots of warm tea, and getting back to yoga.
Hope you’re well, friend!
The sweater thing probably depends on what kind of fiber you want it to be made of. Cotton and wool will cost more, of course, but will probably be more of what you would like than acrylic. The advantage to acrylic is that you can machine wash and dry it. I don’t wear sweaters much here as it’s usually too warm inside to wear them (they overheat public buildings and stores here), and if it’s cold enough outside to wear them, you’d probably be better off wearing a coat or jacket.
I don’t have a list of pleasurable things I’d like to do for fall. I’ve still got a lot of MUST DO things going on in my life. I just lost a chunk of a wisdom tooth today, and I already had a lot of dental problems. I need to get some worrisome symptoms checked out by some doctors, too. Not fun to grow old, especially alone.
