What say you about faux freckles? They’ve been en vogue for a while now, but I hadn’t tried drawing any on myself until recently because I already have a smattering of real freckles…which I’ve gone to great lengths to disguise on occasion, so I’ve always thought, “Eh, what’s the point? They’re already there.”
However, I recently gave ’em a go as part of “Operation Trying New Things” (gotta get out of my rut). Surprisingly, I kinda liked them! So I’m giving this trend a “yes.”
How about you? Have you tried it on yourself? Do you think it’s worth the effort, or do you think they just look like someone drew a bunch of random dots on their face?
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

Dons think so wasn’t born with it why fake it. Even it looks cute.
I was born with tons of freckles so I just let mine shine through! I do think if someone can draw them on just right it can look really cute.
Totally adorable!! And what is this beautiful lippie??
Hi Michelle!
It’s a liquid lipstick by Physicians Formula, and it’s REALLY GOOD. The name of it is kinda funny — Magentle! I have a swatch/breakdown of the look in this post here, in case you’re interested.
Hope you’re having a nice Friday so far. What are you up to this weekend?
I haven’t , mainly because I have ones myself. And because I don’t trust myself with painting them on
For me personally it’s a no. I have freckles and pigmentation I’m trying to get rid of. I’ve hated my freckles since I was a kid. My ideal skin has a perfectly even skintone.
But you do you! Yours look cute. Go for it.
I have freckles so I don’t have to add any. But I did see that Colourpop released a product to put freckles on your face.
