The stuffed cat in the stroller kills me. I love it so much. I can’t believe how big Connor Claire is getting, and her hair is getting long too! Nice of big brother Tabs to babysit.

I hope things on your end are great. I’m so glad tomorrow is Friday because on Saturday I’m going to meet some friends in the city for dim sum and a show (Roman Holiday). What are you up to this weekend?
I’m in a student showcase at the circus school Saturday night, and dress rehearsal is Friday night, so that will be a lot of my time! I’m hula hooping and am also in a group contortion routine with my friends where the premise is that we’re terrestrial synchronized swimming.
Oh how cool! I think performing is good for the soul. Break a leg at the showcase on Saturday. Do you have your makeup planned out yet? (Please tell me false lashes are up in the mix.)
So I’m getting an Ulta order today with a new lipstick I’ll probably wear – Maybelline Color Sensational Matte Metallic in Hot Lava I think, bright red. I also have some Unicorn Snot glitter lip gloss I’ll use on top. I’m sure I’ll use it as an excuse for false lashes. Probably big winged out liner, a relatively nude eye, maybe some gold or glitter. Both costumes are a little retro, so it’ll work. I have flower hair clips in red and yellow.
I’ll be pampering earlier in the day – masking, hair treatment, and I reaaaaaally need to paint my toenails.
We’re doing an outdoor show in July too!

For the outdoor show, you’ll need some sweat proof or long-wearing makeup!
So I’m actually really talented at sweat proof makeup because I used to take a medication that caused ridiculous face sweating to the extent I’d get heat rashes all the time. I’m a heavy sweater even without that though. Facial antiperspirant is the key! I’ve used it on brides too. It’s probably not good for all the time, but it’s a life-saver. There’s a brand called Neat 3B Face Saver that’s really good. And then the normal using primers, powdering (the theater makeup brands often have powder with antiperspirant properties), waterproof ish.
I’ll have to remember the facial antiperspirant trick next time I have an event to go to! Thank you!

She’s getting so big! Seems like only yesterday when she was my teeny, tiny teacup baby.
Be careful with TJ”s “organic” strawberries (especially with the Driscoll’s label). I bought some a few weeks ago, then bought some real organic strawberries at the farmer’s market. The farmer’s market ones were eaten very quickly …. forgot about the TJ’s ones …. a week and a half later, the TJ’s “organic” strawberries are still “fresh.” Not sure how organic they really are …. just sayin’ …. Buyer beware!

But really, I am always amazed at how productive you are and how much stuff you are able to do with a baby around the house all day! HOW???
my little one is in the kindergarten during the day while I am at work, but on weekends if I need some time for hobbies (like blogging) I barely have time when she’s asleep and that doesn’t happen often during the day.. So yay for you! and also – enjoy Hawaii!

I can’t even get started on how behind I am on washing my brushes =\ Randomly I’ll wash like… 5… and feel accomplished… like if I do 5 a day I’ll make something of myself… but 5 a day doesn’t mean SQUAT if you’re using 6+ to do your makeup lmao
