Were you ever obsessed with Lisa Frank stickers when you were a kid?
Me: *Raises hand enthusiastically!*
Lisa Frank ruled the hallways of my elementary school back in the day, and if you were a girl and into collecting stickers, then you absolutely had to collect rainbows, unicorns and all things Lisa Frank.
Lately I’ve been seeing Lisa Frank stuff EVERYWHERE, from the baked good section at Target to the nail polish aisle at Ulta!
My inner Little Karen is thrilled to pieces about this.

Drop a 🌈 or a 🦄 if you love Lisa Frank.

I was totally obsessed with Lisa Frank! I also was a hoarder and never wanted to “use up” the stickers so I had tons of full sheets in mint condition and eventually grew out of that phase. Now in my life I’m more like YOLO! Use the stickers! Burn the candle! Etc.
Girl, SAME! I still can remember with vivid clarity all the beautiful unicorns on those pristine sheets. At this point in my life I would put that ish everywhere. HA HA HA HA!
Oh, and super random, but I was talking to a mom friend the other day and she had no idea who Lisa Frank was. I just about short circuited!
🤯
How does Connor Claire feel about Lisa Frank? I hope they have backpacks and folders and stuff when my girls start school, I remember having those too!
She does not understand the immense scale of the Lisa Frank world just yet. But what she’s seen, she likes! It’s been so fun being in that world again. I know it won’t last forever, but for now, I’m enjoying it. 🙂
How is prepping for your new job coming along? February 6 is right around the corner… You’ve got this!
It’s going okay! Getting excited to start!
I’d never heard of Lisa Frank until I moved to CA in the late 80’s as an adult. Maybe it’s from being the only girl and having all older brothers (Not by choice, I used to wear their hand me down clothes) but I hated lace, glitter, frills or anything too girly.
I had to look up Lisa Frank tbh! I grew up in SoCal in the late 80s and was in high school in the early 90s, but I don’t remember it at all. I was all about Sanrio, though, and still have all the stickers, stationery, tchotchkes, etc. stashed in the garage somewhere. I feel like I lived in a parallel universe!
This didn’t exist when I was a child, but I would have loved it if it had existed. The national unicorn obsession didn’t exist during my childhood. Probably the biggest kid obsession in my childhood that was like this, was the affection for Snoopy and all things Peanuts.

Are we not going to talk about the Lisa Frank tigers🐯. They were my favorite!!!
I think 🤔 I’m about 10 years older than you and knew nothing of Lisa Frank when I was growing up. But I was also in the Midwest so maybe that was part of it?
On the East Coast now however and she’s all over the Targets here.
*raises hand like i’m reaching for clouds* me!!!!
i need to get to target (again!). there are COOKIES?! yum!
when i went to dollar 25 tree, they had a booklet of her stickers. my girls are very into it, and it makes my heart so happy!
you gotta get some for Connor Claire! (unless stickers are a sticky boundary at your house). they need to bring back her school supplies! 🙂
I’m the right age, but I don’t think we had Lisa Frank out here in the boondocks. 🙂 I’m getting SO much use out of the unicorn name chart, though. I can’t thank you enough for posting that picture. Not to be corny (get it?), but a friend going through a very tough time just spit her drink all over from laughter that started with this pic. You’ve made a positive difference, like you do so often! 🙂
