Good morning and welcome to the hump! Side note: how is it already Wednesday?
I bought a couple new-to-me beauty things last weekend. I’m especially stoked about this tinted sunscreen by Supergoop called Protec(tint) Daily SPF 50.
It’s lightweight and has a good amount of coverage, and when I reapply it throughout the day (at lunch and in the late afternoon), it layers well and doesn’t look heavy or cakey. I’m wearing it in these pics without a setting powder; I love how the finish looks so natural.
While I still love me some Bliss Block Star, it only comes in one tinted shade, and I can see it potentially looking a little funky as the weather gets warmer and my face picks up a little color.
Protec(tint) comes in a bunch of shades, which is very cool! I wear 30W, by the way.
I also grabbed this hand cream by La Roche Posay because my paws have been unusually dry lately.
It’s unscented, lightweight and not greasy. Love!
On a fashion-related note, now that it appears that the rains are over for the spring season, it’s heating up again here. I haven’t had to wear any professional outfits in warm weather in ages, and so I’m trying to find a work uniform to get me through the next few months. I think I stumbled onto a formula that’ll get me through it: a printed dress, a belt, a lightweight jacket and some sandals!
I’m now on a mission to find some cute dresses. 🙂 If I stumble onto any, I’ll let ya know.

Love your warm weather uniform. Check out gap. They are having a sale and I spy some really cute options. I particularly love the crocheted dresses. Not sure how they’d work in the heat though!

OMG, I saw that F&F sale too. They have a really nice cream shadow but the shade I love Bronze is missing in action!
They must keep your office pretty cool if you can wear a denim jacket indoors. I used to wear blazers indoors at my office, but I just got tired of being hot, and also paying for dry cleaning. I have spent most of my working life on the west side of a building that didn’t have insulated windows until very recently. The glass would be hot even when it was in the 30s outside due to the direct sun on the windows. It’s already so hot here I can’t wear any kind of sweater or jacket – I’m storing all my non-summer-weight clothes in boxes, as I’m going to have to move within a few months. It won’t be cool enough to wear a jacket of any kind again here until probably very late October.
The Protec(tint) from Supergoop is great! I like how it’s not cakey too and adds some coverage. Hope you and everyone are having a great week.

Your girl, Connor Claire, is growing up! The dress and denim jacket look great together. It’s 0% fuss, 100% stylish. I have also been hankering for dresses. I rediscovered a long shirt dress from Old Navy. I bought it and tucked it away (partly because my tummy needed work). I took it out this week and tried it with Spanx and now it seems more flattering. It’s white with blue stripes, short sleeves and has cutouts at the waist–just enough to add interest and sex appeal without exposing menopause belly.
