I’m kinda wishing I hadn’t chopped off my hair because now I really want to learn how to do intricate braids… You know, like those fancy combinations with the fish tail and the french braids in the same look.
Funny how the grass is always greener on the other side…
I’d also love to learn how to do really good ’40s-style finger waves and Victory rolls.
For makeup, I want 2015 to be the year when I finally break out of my smokey eye comfort zone, so I want to be able to do more variations on different kinds of glam makeup looks, like daytime-friendly glam, BIG glam, softer and more natural glam…
If it’s glam, I want to be all up in that ish!
I also want to experiment with more ’60s makeup looks. Like last month I watched an Audrey Hepburn movie called Charade, and Audrey’s cut crease and black cat liner action in it was INSANE.
I think I could probably do something like that now if I had a whole day to just futz with my makeup, but since Tabs keeps me on such a short leash (haha), I want to be able to do things like that faster.

I want to learn how to use a clamp-less curling wand and give myself effortless, wavy hair.
I’d also like to learn new foundation techniques to make my skin look instantly flawless.
Patience is another thing, but I don’t expect that to ever change. I want all the things to happen. Right. Now.
i HAVE to finally master the perfect cat eye. i have gel liner and a brush (maybe not the right one though, it’s unclear) and need to get it down!
I really want to perfect a cut crease. I don’t think my eye shape is the best for that, but I’d like to find a style of it that works on me. I also want to be more creative with my makeup. Do more unexpected, non-traditional things with it. It’s makeup, who cares?? 😀

Gain more diversity in styling my hair and doing my makeup, incorporate more colorful eyeshadows and sort out the lighting at my vanity (!).
And finally grow my hair to bra-clasp length. It just seems stuck 7 cm above…

I really want t learn how to rock a wig without looking like I’m wearing a wig. I hate the hassle of long hair on a daily basis, but sometimes I miss having it (but not enough to grow it out all over again).
I really would like to get better with liquid liner and braiding but I highly doubt that will happen.
Perfecting the outer v technique ! I have hooded eyes, and I feel like with a defined outer V would help them pop more!
I’m wondering what’s next beyond the smokey eye, something new and different for those of us who can’t wear quite that much eye makeup. I wish I looked remotely like Audrey H, would love to do her chic look. I’d like to learn how to master contouring in a way that looks not overdone
Makeup wise- finally learn how to apply those false lashes. I know I have been saying it all year and I never learnt! And I’d also like to perfect a winged liner!

Would love to learn any ’30s or ’40s hair techniques, always on the list is learn to tightline(tried and failed so many times!). Also want to learn the sideways french mani. I can think of so many color combos I want to try with that.
Audrey had really deep socket lines so it might be tricky to fake one. Lisa Eldridge has a good video on Audrey’s makeup from Breakfast at Tiffany’s (which is from the early 60’s) that might help. Charade is such a good film! It’s one of my favorites 🙂
I want to get up the courage to try false eyelashes. I also want to master my TIGI deep waver better.
Mastering liquid liner!!! I want to do a cat eye look but it not look like I’m wearing too much makeup. I’m more of a natural look fan, although glam for a date night is heavenly! And learning to rim the water lines and upper lines would be great!
