Good morning, and happy Caturday! I woke up this morning with Rosie-pose curled up next to my head, like a torbie-style beret. Have you ever had a cat sleep on (or next to) your head? It’s weird and wonderful.
My day off yesterday was glorious, and today I feel the most relaxed and rested I’ve felt in really long time! Most weekends, I wake up with this intense weight of everything I need to get done on those two precious days off, but this morning, my heart and soul felt light.
Note to self: remember how good this feels, and in the future, be more intentional about taking breaks!

Fascinating
I encourage you to carve out time today for rest. It does a body good.
Take care of yourself this weekend, OK?

Our cats certainly do sleep with us at night – you try keeping Siamese out of the bedroom! They definitely have a safety in numbers thing and feel secure if they can sleep with what they see as their family.
They don’t just perch neatly at the foot of the bed…Freya insists in sleeping in my arms, under the duvet. Her brother always slept in my arms on his side, with his head on the pillow like a person…What can I say..?!
I love yellow 💛 but I definitely can’t pull off yellow nail polish. Hettie, Jiji, and I took a nice nap under the sunny window in my bedroom today, and Hettie and I took a snowy walk. Now I’m making some bread dough!
Nibbler isn’t even allowed in the bedroom. Even when I sleep on the sofa she doesn’t sleep with me. She did however sleep with Dear Daughter when she was home for winter break. Nora on the other hand would sleep on my stomach when I slept on the sofa and somehow knew when I wasn’t feeling well and would curl up with me and purr.
Hope you’re having a great weekend.
