Hi, friend. I had grand plans to do a bunch of writing this morning but a fast-and-furious migraine decided that wasn’t going to happen, LOL! Staring at a computer screen seems to amplify the symptoms, so I’ve been lying down in a dark room for the last hour waiting for the nausea to subside. Anywho, I’m feeling a little better now, so I wanted to quickly check in to say hi.
Between the last couple weeks of school, dance season wrapping up and adjusting to living with a high energy herding dog, we’ve been going through a lot as a fam-bam lately. Every morning I remind myself that in 10 years, things won’t be this hectic. Ten years from now, Connor will be wrapping up her final year in high school, Marnie will be a mellow senior doggy and I’ll have more time to do things like, oh, vacuum my floors, ha ha ha! Until that time comes, it’s get up, go-go-go, rinse and repeat through the exhaustion. 🙂
Oh, tomorrow is my birthday, and I had to do the math to figure out how old I’m going to be. All I want to do to celebrate is eat little sandwiches and scones at high tea, so we’re going to do that, and I’m very much looking forward to it.

Thanks Marcia. The migraine medicine has kicked in so I’m no longer feeling nauseous and dizzy. Feeling much better! What are your plans for the weekend?
I went to the mall and got some new tennis shoes and sandals. My current pair of shoes were getting worn so thought I’d stop by the shoe store and see what they had.

Happy birthday tomorrow! At least you won’t be alone as I was on my last one. It was such a gut-punch to be alone about 7 weeks after my mother died. I’m gradually getting used to being alone. When I can move, I hope to get a new Sheltie or similar dog, and maybe a cat, too. Can’t have one here because the fence is in horrible shape, and I have to leave because the house must be sold and the proceeds split with all of the heirs. I hope your migraine stays away and you can have a fine time tomorrow with your family!
