Hello, friend! Welcome to another weekend. We made it…and, therefore, you deserve pancakes. ? Because can one really consider Saturday Saturday if it doesn’t include pancakes? Hmm… I don’t think so.
Lemon blueberry LOVE
I highly recommend these sheet pan lemon and blueberry pancakes, also known as “the best thing ever.” You can quickly whip up the batter (the key is to not overmix!), pour it into a large baking sheet, and shove it in the oven.
Fifteen minutes later, you’ve got a massive tray of pancakes. All done at the same time. And you don’t even have to stand at the stove to babysit them.
They’re SO GOOD!
I’ve been making them with a couple of substitutions. Like, I replace the flour combination with straight-up gluten-free flour (because El Hub’s celiac), and I use whole milk instead of buttermilk because it’s what we usually have in the house.

This creamy pan of mate raspberry deliciousness is from the Le Monochromatique line, and it doubles as a blush and a lipstick. You could quite possibly use it as an eyeshadow, too, if you’re feeling feisty. I’m having a lot of fun playing with these. Basically, I’m low-key obsessed.

I haven’t tried much from Lancôme besides my holy grail mascara primer and mascara.
I’ve been obsessed with fragrance and finally decided to get Givenchy L’interdit EDP (I had a coupon) and I love it! It’s more grown up from what I usually wear (I’m close to 30) and it’s so luxe. The L’interdit intense EDP has my eye as well. They share similar DNA, yes, but they’re completely different from one another.
Just looked up the scent notes for that one and it sounds lovely!
I checked out the new Eau de Parfum version of Chanel Chance Eau Tendre this week (the EDT us one of my favorite fragrances) and it is so beautiful. I’m staying at home now (I’m working from home until July!), so is there really a point to perfume? I might ask for it for Christmas.
I just got a new tube of Lancôme Hypnose Doll Lashes from Nordstrom because I had a reward, but those Monochromatiques look fun.
I don’t know if Jiji needs a whole advent calendar but I should get him some new toys. When Quincy was still around, he liked catnip mice too ?
My cousin did a tour of a local animal shelter (she works with a cat rescue) and there was a bonded trio of marmies who need to be adopted together ? My husband would definitely not be cool with that but if they weren’t all in the room at the same time, maybe he’d think there was just one. (My cousin did that with three husky tabbies and her dad once)
I would legit bring those three home without telling anyone. And then I’d wait until someone noticed before saying anything!!!!

I’ve never been a big fan of citrus, but over the summer I made some lemon and blueberry cupcakes and they were so delicious! That flavor combo is so good together. Those pancakes sound great!

Hey Karen!! I love that you love Loretta, Dolly, and Patsy. They’re all great in my book!! My mom grew up in the same town in Virginia as Pasty…Winchester. my mom and her family knew Patsy pretty well. In fact, my grandmom used to sew, and she used to do alterations for Patsy’s dresses. Fun times!!
I immediately thought the exact same thing about Cher’s abs. I used to do her step aerobics video back in the day and she didn’t get those abs from that workout…. or at least I didn’t. HAHA!
