Hello, friend! 🤗 Good morning to you, and happy Saturday. It’s a brisk November morning here in Novato, California.
It’s still early, but we’re getting ready to head out of dodge for a few days while Rosie and her favorite pet sitter hold down the fort here at Tabs the Cat Industries, LLC. We’re heading to Lake Tahoe to frolic in the snow!
It’s been more than a decade since I’ve been to Tahoe during the snowy season, so it should be interesting. I loathe being cold (I’m more of a beach person), but I really want for Connor to see snow and have a fun experience playing in it. I’m also really looking forward to ice skating and sledding.
Neither El Hub nor I ski (very well), but we all might take a lesson just for fun…
How are things on your end of the keyboard?

The docs are in.
This is so pretty.
Rosie-pose sleeps with me every night.
How many of these hairstyles did you rock back in the day?
I hope things are going well on your end. Please send warm vibes!
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen

Have fun at Lake Tahoe! I’m getting over some sinus crud so I’ve been laying in bed with Hettie and Jiji most of the day.
I like Jennifer Garner’s routine. I want to try the Neutrogena Hydro Boost products but my skin often doesn’t like hyaluronic acid. I’m currently using the Aveeno Calm and Restore Gel Cream which I think is similar texture-wise.
I’ve become pretty cold intolerant in the last few years, but snow still remains magical. I hope you all have a great time in Tahoe, especially Connor.
Hi Karen – safe travels to Lake Tahoe. I live in snowy Alberta in Western Canada. I recommend trying snowshoeing too – kids love it and it is a great work out for us adults!
The throwback photo of Connor is super cute … what a little sweetheart.
PS – The JVN video of his reactions to 90s hair styles was fun to watch and to remember all of those wild looks.
