My new favorite thing lately has been making banana bread for my friends and neighbors. It’s one of the things I’ve been doing to keep my spirit up; there’s something about giving baked treats that makes my heart feel good.
I’ve been using this easy recipe. It also works great with gluten-free flour if you have a wheat allergy!
Anywho, I’ve been chugging along and wrapping up the last of my projects at work. My final day is Monday — Halloween! I’m half tempted to show up to my meetings dressed up in some crazy state.
Or maybe I’ll just throw some panda ears on and call it a day?

I got little cat costumes for the girls and today we brought them to my Grandma’s assisted living facility where they were having a little Halloween party. They had a good time and the residents enjoyed seeing them and all the other little kids who showed up! Connor Claire looks great as a mermaid!

I’m dressing up as a Witch tomorrow in my studio – I’m excited for it to see how everyone else will be dressing up!
We are all dressing up – my daughter is a witch, my son is Captain Marvel, but with a Jedi light saber (don’t ask) and I will do Harley Quinn. Or at least attempt to do it. But only after working hours, I don’t think me showing up with a baseball bat would be appreciated here.
