After having worked with most of the big brands in the makeup and beauty biz over the past few years, Tabs has his favorites. From the perspective of a world famous kitty supermodel, some companies are just easier to work with than others, and MAC is one of those companies.
Why? Because they know how to treat the talent. Simply put, they know what it takes to bring out the best in their kitty models — the lurvies, the gravy, the petting.
Like method acting, it’s all about motivation. You can’t just put a cat in a Spider-Man costume and tell him to go out there and make magic happen. It takes more than that. MAC knows it. Tabs knows it. And that’s why they’ve worked together more than 30 times since 2008.

Speaking of kitty models, Rock n Roll made her kitty modeling debut yesterday! There was a photo shoot at my place, and the model who worked with us loves cats, so we decided to have her hold Rocky. At first my kitty was scared and nervous to be under the bright lights, but she got used to it and even started licking the model! LOL. I will post new photos when the photographer sends them to me.
For some reason the Pret – a – Papier one had me laughing my ass off. They are all hilarious, but that one killed me. I think it’s the angle of his head!
BTW I thought about you this weekend. I went to meet the new bf’s family and even though I am allergic to cats 99% of the time, their cats not only liked me, but I also walked away without sneezing once. Those purrs and head butts are frighteningly addictive. 🙂

weird question! this is the second time i’ve seen the picture of your computer work station and i LOVE that white table. It seems like the perfect height and looks even I wouldnt want to clutter it up with my crap to keep the “stark white” look. so, spill! where is this table from? i was betting ikea.
