This thug and his low-hanging belly… It certainly complemented his poinsettia collar purrfectly.
The collar is a statement collar, and it takes a certain type of cat to really pull it off because it’s so substantial, and so was Tabs.
We get a little nostalgic around here this time of year because we miss our tabby… ? He was such a presence, and I’m pretty sure he and Santa were tight. ?

I took the collar out today because I was thinking about Tabs, and Rosie curiously came by and sniffed it, so I thought, “Hey, you deserve to feel beautiful on your walk today. Let’s put this on you and see what adventures we can have.”
Have a very Rosie Christmas

There was no tree climbing today; however, there was lots of exploring, peaceful contemplation and all around cuteness. I told her not to feel pressured. She didn’t have to pose for the camera, but if she felt like strutting, just go for it.
I wonder sometimes if she can sense Tabs when she wears his old collars. They certainly bring out a different side of her.

Your friendly neighborhood beauty addicts,
Karen and Rosie

I love that Christmas photo of you and Tabs, and the color of your door! Glad Rosie got some fresh air today!
Connor is in that pic, too (in my tummy)! It’s going to be another sunny day here so there may be a quick walk or hike in the immediate future. How’s your day going? Are you working this week?
Oh, and what did you “procrastibake”?
Yes I have to work this week. I have a half day Christmas Eve and I have Christmas Day off. So it will be a nice long weekend. I’m thankful for the normalcy of going to work everyday. I actually made candy. I made peanut butter bon bons dipped in chocolate, peanut brittle, and chocolate covered potato chips. There is a local candy store here that makes them, but every year they sell out so I just make my own. (I used to work there!)
A nice, long weekend sounds perfect. I hope you get lots of time to relax.
Your candy sounds delicious, btw! How long did you work at the candy store?
I worked there all through high school and college, and again when i was between jobs in my early 30’s. My best friend works there, and it was a fun place to work!
Well that sounds like a lovely (and delicious) place to be!
Tabs was the best. Rosie is werkin’ it! Happy Holidays!
He really was! Happy holidays to you, too, Neri!
I’m not a cat person but you constantly show us dog people that being a cat person is just as fulfilling, too. 😉 I love seeing you with both kittehs #1 and #2 in the outfits.
You certainly have the prettiest cats ?
Merry Christmas
Rosie looks stunning in that collar. Tabs would be proud!
Happiest of Holidays to you and your family!
I feel like Tabs would be glad that Rosie is able to wear some of his statement pieces. <3
