Was Tabs solar powered? He may have been. With all the time he spent lounging in sunny spots, you’d think that all of the energy he absorbed would have to go toward something, and maybe it did. Perhaps it manifested itself through his fabulousness.
I’ll never forget — and this is going to sound very cat lady of me — how his fur smelled after he’d been lounging in the sun for a while. He’d be so chill and let me pick him up and take a big whiff of his warm belly. It smelled like raw bread dough. 🙂
Rosie must know that the sun and having the same place to always visit when you need to get work done increases her productivity.

Jiji’s favorite sunny spots are at the top of the stairs and in the little window seat I got him that faces the backyard. I’m so happy he loves it as much as he does.
Hettie also enjoys snoozing in the sun, usually in the backyard.
