So, with all the rain we’ve been getting here in “sunny” California, we’re way overdue for some rainbows.
We gotta be getting some good ones soon, which is great, because Rosie is an excellent rainbow tracker, as was her mentor, Tabs.

One of the things Tabs prided himself on was his ability to locate gold at the end of rainbows… He was a real pro at it. 🐱

In fact, we used that gold to fund many of his philanthropic endeavors.

Rosie

Rosie, too, has an aptitude for rainbow tracking, although she’s still working on the gold part.

But I’m sure she’ll figure it out. She’s been studying March meteorological patterns and reading up on Leprechauns this weekend, so I expect her to find a pot of gold soon.
Maybe it’ll happen on St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️

I hope so. You can do it, Rosie! Good luck! 😊

Very nice collection of photos, as usual.
Yesterday I got to see a wild bobcat in my backyard, only about 4 feet from the sliding glass door! It was attracted to the squirrels that scrounge for dropped birdseed under my bird feeder. I was stunned, but watched it through the window as it stared at a squirrel in a standoff (they were about 8 feet part). Eventually the bobcat decided it wasn’t worth the effort to go after the squirrel and it started off slowly in another direction. I opened the door and stepped out to yell at the bobcat to try to get it to leave the yard. It left. I actually don’t mind bobcats being around too much since I don’t have a puppy, cat, or dog to worry about, but I am concerned that a rabid bobcat might attack me or a guest. I didn’t get any photos of it, unfortunately, because my cameras were all in another room, and I was certain that if I went to get a camera, it would leave before I got back.
I think Rosie is licking her lips in that last photo at the thought of all the prawns she’s going to buy when she finds the gold…
