Girl, after weeks of stormy, cold weather out here in the Bay Area, we FINALLY got a sunny day!
It being Sunday, our fun day, our we-don’t have-to-run day, I feel like celebrating and relishing these last hours of the weekend with a giveaway.
The prize
Five lucky divas will receive a $90 prize package containing seven products from Dashing Diva Nail Polish, ModelCo Cosmetics, Broadway Nails, Therapy Systems and Kiss Nails.
Each of the five grab bags holds three polishes (I’ll pick three randomly from the four shown below) from Dashing Diva’s newest collection, The Manhattan Collection, with rich, creamy colors in names inspired by The Big Apple.

This might sound strange, but my favorite diva is my mother-in-law. She keeps up with current trends in a very age appropriate way. She also looks put together and with it all the time. She knows what to do to look her best and she never hesitates to do it.

Hm, I don’t really have a favorite diva but one of my favorite actresses of all time is Audrey Hepburn. She’s a huge inspiration to me. She knew what was right for her and didn’t follow trends. She bought her shoes a size larger so her big feet would be comfortable. She was also a woman who devoted herself to a cause that she loved–UNICEF. She made it really what it is today. She didn’t devote herself to thousands of charities like some. She devoted herself to her children, her work and a charity she held close to herself.

I would have to say my favorite diva is Tyra. I don’t pay a whole lot of attention to fashion/news media, but I love watching her on ANTM. She’s so over the top and cheesy, and she obviously knows it, but I think she’s also incredibly intelligent and has a great sense of humor.
Christina Aguilera. She has shown how versatile she can be – she could reach low to high tones and sing pop tunes or oldies with such flair. Not to mention she has superb dancing skills. For such a petite woman she has such a strong voice. Wow, whatta diva 🙂

I think my favorite diva has got to be Vivian Leigh of Gone with the Wind fame. I read a biography of her where it said that for the role of Scarlett O Hara she went full out, from sending the producer and director pics of her in full southern gear to basically bribing executives for the role. She completly fit the role of the boy crazy, selfish, over the top diva Scarlett.

First she had her eye cut open by a careless groomer, then she had to have a tumor removed & while she was recovering her “bad” eye caught a horrible bacteria that almost made her ” rock the pirate look” (she is recovering from all injuries!).
