Don’t laugh but I spent an inordinate amount of time contemplating this. One the one hand, length is great because I feel like it mimics the look of falsies, but thickness offers a lot of bang for your buck visually. Hmm… I think ultimately I’ll have to go with length, but who knows? That answer might change in five minutes, LOL!
Lash primer: a must-have or an unnecessary step?
Five years ago I loved the stuff (I think it really does make a difference in how your mascara performs), but now I just don’t have the patience for it. So, unnecessary step.
Mascara on lower lashes: love it or leave it?
Love it, but only when it’s a thin layer.
Brown mascara or black mascara?
Black mascara all day every day!
Purple mascara or blue mascara?
Ooh, choices! I’ll go with blue because it’s easier to see blue on my lashes. Purple mascara usually ends up looking black.
Department store or drugstore mascara?
Got mad love for both, but the department store ones seem to do a better overall job, and they’re not nearly as crunchy.
Skinny wand or oversized wand?
Skinny wand, since it’s much easier for me to get between the lash hairs.
Tapered wand or curved wand?
Tapered, because I always end up holding my wrist in a weird way with the curved ones.
Do you prefer mascaras with a natural effect or dramatic effect?

Soft or stiff lashes?
Soft please.
Tubing mascara or fiber mascara?
Tubing, even if they’re a pain to remove. The fiber ones always end up flaking off and getting in my eyes.
Clear mascara: love it or leave it?
Love it. Handy for the beach or brows!

– for me it’s a necessity. It really gives something for my mascara to grab onto since my lashes are so sparse.

– department store. I don’t know what it is about drugstore eye makeup but it irritates the crap out of my eyes!

– well, my lashes leave much to be desired so I can’t get the dramatic effect anyways lol. So natural since I have no say in the matter.

Drugstore, I don’t understand paying a lot for a product that can’t last more than six months opened.

Skinny, I always end up with mascara on my lids.

I prefer natural, yet buildable. I still don’t feel comfortable wearing dramatic lashes.

Tubing? I’m not sure.

Leave it, I don’t feel it’s that important.
Would you rather have a mascara that gives you massive length or intense thickness? Massive? Intense? Neither! Overblown, artificial looks just don’t suit my lifestyle.
Lash primer: a must-have or an unnecessary step? For me, it is an unnecessary extra step. I’m fortunate in that I don’t need anything other than one coat (two for special occasions) and I’m good to go.
Mascara on lower lashes: love it or leave it? I like to apply a very light coat on my lower lashes to keep things in balance.
Brown mascara or black mascara? My lashes are naturally black, so I only use black mascara.
Purple mascara or blue mascara? Neither. Colored mascara isn’t my thing. Since I have black lashes, I’d go without rather than wear a color.
Department store or drugstore mascara? I’d like to buy my department store mascara but at a drugstore price! LOL. Actually, when I buy my mascara during Nordstrom’s Mascara Madness event, the price isn’t that bad.
Skinny wand or oversized wand? A skinny wand does a better job of getting the little lashes at the corners of my eyes.
Tapered wand or curved wand? Tapered. I’ve never really gotten the hang of curved wands.
Do you prefer mascaras with a natural effect or dramatic effect? Natural effect.

Tubing mascara or fiber mascara? I’m not crazy about either, but a bit of fiber is OK.

Department store or drugstore mascara? I wear contacts and replace my mascara at least after four month, so drugstore. – ATM Loreal Lash paradise. But with high end brands I would looove to buy minis. I love the lancome hypnose, but alas I am not willing to shell out the money three times a year 🙁

Lash primer: a must-have or an unnecessary step? Unnecessary and annoying step. I have no patience for faff like that.
Mascara on lower lashes: love it or leave it? Leave it. My lower lashes are almost as long as my top lashes and it just looks weird.
Brown mascara or black mascara? I prefer Brown. But since it’s so rare, I usually go with formula first. Color isn’t quite as important as having mascara that doesn’t smudge, flake. irritate my eyes or leave me looking like a raccoon.

Would you rather have a mascara that gives you massive length or intense thickness? The thicker the better!
Lash primer: a must-have or an unnecessary step? Not for me – I don’t like the feel of heavy lashes and it seems to weigh mine done.
Mascara on lower lashes: love it or leave it? Leave it. My bottom lashes are light colored but strangely long so it’s a bad look (clockwork orange).

Purple mascara or blue mascara? Purple BECAUSE it looks black. HAHA!
Department store or drugstore mascara? Department store but after trying lots of different brands, I find Faux Cils works best for me. It would take something miraculous to get me to switch. 🙂
