For turning 30, my parents threw me a birthday bash at a crowded drag queen karaoke bar in the South Bay. I wore a pink outfit, sported a jewel-encrusted tiara and wobbled across the stage singing songs in four-inch heels. When the queens, rocking fierce hair and makeup, dragged (ha!) me up on stage to harmonize We Are Family with them, I felt like a star. 🙂
I’ve always adored drag queens, so when the folks at Logo, the channel that airs the hit RuPaul’s Drag Race, offered to host today’s giveaway and share deets about their new RuPaul show (RuPaul’s Drag U) premiering July 19, I jumped for joy (not in heels, though)!
Bust out your most glittery shadow because…
At RuPaul’s Drag U, class is in session!
In the show, RuPaul serves as the Dean of Drag at Drag U, guiding women (the kind who, um, don’t have to tuck) through extreme makeup, beauty and confidence transformations — drag queen style.

The students are everyday women looking for a little help with their style and confidence (false lashes, anyone?).

At the start of the show, RuPaul inputs each student’s info into the Dragulator (cutting-edge technology, LOL!), which assigns them drag names and gives a glimpse of each woman’s potential.

With the help of Drag Race alumni, the ladies learn how to get in touch with their softer sides and unleash their inner divas! The pressure’s on, too, because each show ends with the women doing a musical number in front of a live audience of friends and family.

There can be only one — valedictorian. One of the ladies in each episode is chosen as valedictorian of her class, but every one leaves Drag U a lil’ more confident, sassy and knowledgeable about makeup and beauty.
Drag U and you
Catch Drag U on the Logo channel starting July 19 at 9 p.m. (check your local listings). You can also follow Drag U on Facebook and take the Dragulator out for a spin.

I have been Dragulated!!

I unless my inner drag queen by using some fierce eyelashes (dramatic) and using bold colors that are out of my norm. I love to mess with eyeshadow the most <3 it!
Twitter Post: http://twitter.com/cjn818/statuses/18612884175
I have to agree – I love me some false eyelashes! I wish it didn’t take so long to put on though! And lovely contest 🙂
.-= Wendy’s last blog post… This is a rant =-.
I like colorful and bold eyeshadow the most
I definitely unleash my inner drag queen with bold, bright shades of eyeshadow. My favorite is to use two contrasting bright shades (like Too Faced Mess in a Dress and Urban Decay Peace) on my lid and then hit the corners with a little Chrome Yellow. I also love ridiculous shoes.
.-= Deb’s last blog post… Calpis Marshmallows =-.
Bright eyeshadow all the way! I love teal and purple together!
I unleash my inner drag queen whenever I dare to wear bight makeup to work and beyond! Drag queen diva-dom is about learning to embrace who you are along with your inner and outer beauty – working a purple eye or a hot pink lip makes me confident that I’m being ME to the most I can be.
I go with a bold winged eyeliner, pile on the mascara, then slick on some coral lipstick. Haaaay gurll!
omg..i release my inner drag queen by doing crazy cat eyes on occasion, wearing glittery heels and generally by being ballsy & sassy lol. it happens!! and its kind of empowering 🙂
Beautiful bold eyeshadows, blue eyeliners, and colorful mascaras!

I love me some glitter! Any drag queen would agree.
Happy belated birthday!
I love karaoke!!! As I like to joke, I’m one of the few people I know who likes karaoke even when she’s sober. lol. To bring out my inner drag queen, I like to hook up my karaoke machine, grab the microphone, and launch passionately into one of the most disco-queeny-fierce-woman track on my karaoke CDs. I dance, my arms flies up, I like to add an arm flutter a la Patti LaBelle. I also have a red and black boa. (In retrospect, I don’t even remember how I came to get those boas. lol.)

I love RuPaul’s Drag Race! I can’t wait for this new show!
Drag Race was a pretty good show. Interested to see how this new concept works. I like the ideas behind a show about women doing feminine drag but we’ll have to see how it plays out.
.-= knownever’s last blog post… Street Style for Idiots =-.
I met RuPaul *years* ago and I’ve got to tell you- He is TALL! Like, crazy tall! And I almost instantly fell in love with him, haha! I would *love* to win this prize package (who wouldn’t?!) but even if I don’t I’m totally going to buy his book!
I think if I broke myself down to the most basic of compounds I would be glitter, lipstick, and water. My friends like to joke that I must have been a queen in my past life since I have this unnatural obsession to put glitter and rhinestones on my face for going out dancing with my girls. They also like to joke that if they see a speck of glitter anywhere then I must have been there recently. I can’t help that I love sparkles. But what (drag of drama) queen doesn’t? lol
.-= Rachael’s last blog post… Bonjour YAll! =-.
Shoes- the higher, the better! I’m famous in my circle of friends for my shoe collection that could make a drag queen weep with envy.
how do i unleash my inner drag???….defined eyebrows and false lashes…EVERYDAY!! =P
How I unleash my inner queen? First I put on my over size fake eye lashes, thrown on some gold glitter and pack on my eyeliner. This can be a very fun look for a night out on the town 😉
I’d bring out my inner drag queen with sparkly brightly colored eyeliner in colors like purple, teal or blue. Pile on the falsies and some Bright lipstick and some killer confidence. 🙂
The closest thing I do to drag queen makeup is actually my “lazy days”. On those days, I line my eyes with way thicker eyeliner than I do any other day. Granted, thats the only thing I put on my eyes but it’s still very thick liner.
I have a pair of high heeled, red patent leather shoes I wear when I want to let out my inner drag queen!
Great giveaway! Fake lashes all the way 🙂 I’m on my way to retweet the message too!
I love bold drag- queen worthy make up because it allows people to step outside of their comfort zone and exhibit extreme confidence thats they might not normally display. Make up helps transform people in so many ways, bright colors, contouring, fabulous lashes but BOLD DRAG QUEEN WORTHY MAKE UP makes you feel like ” im THAT B*T*H :: snaps fingers:: lol
Classic dark, smoky eye. I would be a boring drag queen!
haha oh Karen, your parents are awesome for throwing such a party. I am pretty sure neither of my parents even know what drag queens are. =) great giveaway, I’ve been dying to get that nyx cream blush in glow for ages!
OMG – are you kidding me? Drag Race is my favorite reality contest show! If Ru hosted ANTM I would never miss an episode. I cannot go on enough on how much I love Rupaul and this show!!!
I turn on my inner drag queen by amping up my glossy lips and learning from Season 1’s Rebecca Glasscock when she was teaching the butch chick how to walk in heels:
“IF YOUR FEET START TO HURT WALK FASTER!”
Yup – I do that when I wear my stilettos at work.
YES I WILL BE WATCHING DRAG U!!!
I was Team JuJuBee and Team Ongina – yes, I got to represent my Asian drag queens!
GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRLLLL!!!!!
Miss Karen– Can’t tell you how in love I am with you!! I lurve your fierce style and sassy hair. What I wouldn’t give for a wig that looked like that!! I think you are simply adorable and makes me miss my former years as a hawaiian. 🙂
I love your blog, I love your sense of humor, I love your ghetto-ness (makes me feels soooo at home), and I love your pics and thoughts and all the effort you put in. Your voice seems so natural when you write, with the exception of the adorable Tabs (Im HIGHLY allergic) I think we would make a great fag/hag team. LOL
I also love RuPaul and being a drag queen. I get my dragiliciousness on just about every weekend. I love lashes and great skin and sparkles and color….my makeup kit is REDONKULOUS. If you are ever in Phoenix Arizona, come by IcePics VideoBar and see the show each Saturday at 10pm, or check me out on youtube, search for ‘Roulette + tampons’ and ‘Roulette + new products’. You can see two commercials I wrote and made about my OWN fake line of products. 🙂
Coincidently, I am doing a show here in town with Raven from the Drag Race next Saturday the 24th. Anyways, I love your blog and read it everyday. Keep up the good work!!!
–Brian/Roulette
I would drag-queen it up with the tightest, sparkliest dress I own, my hair teased until it is ridiculously full and voluminous and a deep smokey eye (with falsies of course), with glitter applied to my cheekbones and under my eyebrows! Not to mention, totally diva fake nails, we’re talking about the ultra long hypnotically shimmery ones here!
I love the creativity in my drag queen friends. From the outlandish makeup to the AMAZING costumes, I am always left in awe!
Awesome Giveaway 🙂 My fav karaoke song is Summer nights! haha
omg! I LOVE RuPaul’s Drag Race! I started out watching the webisodes and was ecstatic that it came to Logo – I love that they’re doing so well! Team Ongina for sure and Team PandoraBoxx all the way! This is such a fun give-away.

AWESOME GIVEAWAY! I release my inner drag with tons of mascara and blush!! It’s FAB!
How I unleash my inner queen? LOTS of glitter and false lashes!!
A couple months ago I ran into a drag queen on the streets of San Diego. I stopped to talk to her because I loved her makeup and I learned that it takes mad skills to do a drag queen’s makeup! Sure it’s over the top, but it ain’t easy to achieve the look! In any casy, my inner diva comes out when I go to Indian weddings, since our outfits are so over the top and colorful, it’s ok to actually pull off the big lashes, smoky eye, and dark lips at the same time. =)
.-= Kajal Couture’s last blog post… Deepika Padukone Makeup Breakdown =-.
I also love big bold lashes! I’ve been wearing Dior Show in azure lately, it makes me feel pretty fabulous
I love NYX makeup!!!
Ru Paul is so funny, I love his music vid from the 90’s!
I like drag worthy makeup because the everyday women or man can transform into their sexiest persona!
Mile high heels and long long lashes! Great contest and I cannot wait to watch the new show on the 19th!
Stilettos, LOTS of mascara, and my fav lipstick!
I unleash my inner drag queen by never going anywhere, including birkam yoga, without layers of volumizing mascara. Current pick? Maybelline The Colossal Volum’ Express The Falsies, waterproof very black.
Dying to try NYX stuff!
omg!! how fun! i want to have a bday party at a drag karaoke!! lol hhmm so cal has to have one !
thanks for the idea!
i dont have an inner drag queen to release…..
Glitter and high heels = SO MUCH FUN!
Karen! I truly love following you! Your so fun and upbeat and relateable! Really not intending to be a brown noser just wanted you to know I luv ya!
So, drag queen makeup: I can hear my makeup artist friend now, telling me last halloween, while I was obsessively looking for a pair of lashes, ‘ just load on your mascara like a drag queen’ I was laughing for days!!
When singing karaoke I always end up singing some Jewel song or Grease song.
I absolutely LOVE RPDR!!! I’m so jealous of their mad makeup and transformation skills. I want to keep practicing and improve my skills. As for karaoke, I’ve only done it once in public while under the influence. 😛
How do I unleash my inner drag queen?
TWO WORDS: GLITTER & ATTITUDE!
Glitter, lashes, and blush!
bright red lipstick. and i mean BRIGHT red…

Oh how I love RuPaul! Many years ago as a gift for me, my best friend bought RuPaul’s first book and turned it into a calendar from the make-your-own calendar kit at the toystore where we worked. Better believe I still have it!
What does $102 worth of NYX look like, anyway? Is there even a box large enough to ship it?
.-= Amber’s last blog post… Herman =-.
I unleash my inner drag queen by wearing bold and bright eye makeup to work…even though it is a conservative place!
Glitter, falsies and the shoes I can’t walk in outside my house! (5 inch heels, white leather maryjanes. I feel like a slutty nurse!!)
I put on the highest heels possible and the longest fake lashes ever! The do SUPER intense smoky eyes and WORK IT!!
I would unleash my inner drag queen by wearing super long false eye lashes and wearing a bright, different color on my lips such as blue or gold. Make sure to plump those babies too!
Fake lashes and high heels!!
I love “drag-queen” makeup because it makes me think people around me have a tendency to look at me while at the same time are afraid to because I ooze fierceness.
I love me some long drag queen nails! with tons of glitter and bright colors
work is going better today! non-lazy coworkers are working!
Now I don’t go over board… but I love blush and contouring with bronzer because I have such a round face and I always looking to add dimension to my face. I also know this is important to drag queens but I can’t get enough of it.
If I could mention something else I would have to say mascara!
hahah! unleash your inner drag queen? that’s a great question that i have no answer to!!
What a sweet give-away! That would help my beauty budget SO much!
Put on sky high heels and make sure to always have fab earrings on!
bright makeup + glitter + va-va-voom hair + floor-length dress with up-to-there slit + high heels = my inner drag queen
How do I unleash my inner drag queen?
high heels. bright blue eyeshadow. long and thich eyelashes. very noticeable blush and singing separate ways by journey. ohhh and majorly teased hair.

I love dramatic eye makeup, paired with extremely contoured cheeks and dark, bold lips. Viva la drag stylee XD
Inner drag queen has to be the full package, outfit, shoes, wig and killer make up. Hedwig is my ultimate muse.

I really enjoyed watching the last season of RuPaul’s Drag Race! I am so fascinated by the way these ladies transform themselves. Amazing!!! If my inner Drag Queen is coming out, I pile on the glitter, falsies, & mascara. Bold & dramatic is where it is at!
Everyone says to never wear a bold eye and bold lip at the same time, but I love to unleash my inner drag queen by constantly breaking that rule! I just love to go big, bold, and beautiful!
What a great giveaway! I express my inner drag w/ bright bold colors no matter what the ocassion and i <3 me some extra fancy false eyelashes!!
How I wish we could get Logo at my house! My fave drag song? The classic: It’s Raining Men.

Wish I could do that for a living!
I unleash my inner drag queen when I go glitter! There is no stopping the sparkle! A bit of makeup drama keeps it exciting.

To unleash my inner drag queen I love to apply bronzer and bold blush!
HIlariously awesome giveaway! Haha, I loved the way you wrote this post, Karen! I reveal my inner drag with super long luxe lashes, usually with flamboyant rhinestones adorning the lashline. I usually also up my sparkle effect by wearing glittery lips! Take some cosmetic grade glitter (I love MAC Reflects Glitter) and dab it over your favorite gloss, so instant lips that scream: bling bling, baby!
I’ve got red hair and freckles — I’m about as drag-queen-worth as Raggedy Ann!!
To unleash my inner drag queen, I do a heavy cat’s eye w/ some false lashes and several thick lashings of mascara.
dancing queen by abba is the best karaoke song EVER (if you’re into that 😛 )
and drag makeup is just FUN. its all about smiles, dancing, good vibes, and intense people.
thank you karen!!
LOL…my favorite karaoke song is still Like a Virgin by Madonna!
My inner drag queen comes out with a serious smokey eye, either with glittery or colored liner for big nights. Also, my favorite pic from my bach-party was when we were at a gay club & I’m with 3-4 drag queens, each made taller by 8 inch heels. Fantastic, and reminds me of the fun of the night every time I look at it
LOL! The other day, I wore really bright green, in-your-face eye makeup. I should’ve put on some falsies to amp up the drama.
Oh, how I wish I could strut in 4-inch stilettos with confidence and sass like a drag queen! But the best makeup advice does come from the queens!
WHOA, that is one dragmotha of a contest prize!!!
I recently purchased a few NYX items and I have to say I am really impressed!
I adore RuPaul and am anxiously awaiting RuPaul’s Drag Race on Monday!!
When I want to unleash my inner drag queen, I put on my rhinestone mini top hat, some fierce feather lashes and do up my glitter lips. “Nothing can stop me now . . .”
🙂
Melanie
I’d love to win any of these prizes!!
I’ve never unleashed my inner drag queen, or even worn false eyelashes. Maybe this will inspire me……..
My favorite karaoke song is Journey’s Don’t Stop Believin’
Although its a rarity, I wear a bright lip when I feel brave or when I feel necessary.
Okay, my comment didn’t take. Whassup?
Found out about RPDR this past season and I loved it!!! My favorites was raven and Jujubee. My favorite karaoke song would “it’s raining men!” always makes me think of “Friends” and Chandler’s dad!
My inner drag queen comes out when I put on my pink feathered MUFE falsies.
I am all about some drag queen lashes!!!!! I love the way fake eyelashes look but I just wish I could master putting them on myself….I have to rely on my amazing roomate who puts them on for me 🙂
What a lovely contest.
Ever since I found colorful eyeshadow tucked away in my mom’s makeup stash back in the day, I’ve been addicted to bright, bold and sexy looks. It’s how I do. 😀
Oooooooooh! Lashes, lashes, lashes! And glitter? What’s not to love!?! 🙂
About the karaoke… my friends totally make fun of me because I’ll make them all come up on stage for our group number and then be like “OK… now you guys stand back here” while I hog the microphone. And it’s funnier because I’m a horrible singer. Ah, good times. 🙂
I need to do MAJ-AH smoky eye and falsies ofcourse..thats the only thing that gives the OOmph 😉
Gotta love fake lashes! Since my Asian eyelashes are stick straight and point downward, thick, lovely eyelashes are a MUST for my inner drag queen! And some super high stilettos for some height!
I love love love love love Ru Paul. I actually quote him to my friends when they need a confidence boost! I wear bold makeup, but it is seldom draggy. I also *love* karaoke and my go-to song is Dolly Parton’s 9-5!
Go ‘head girl! Gotta love the Ru! I release my inner drag queen with tastefully and not so tastefully applied glitter- and I especially feel dragalicious when I get my contouring down perfectly! Work it, work it, own it, own it!!!
hmm well whenever wear lots of metallic-y eye shadow I fell like a might look like a drag queen. Is that a good or bad thing? Lol
I unleash it with fake hair and lashes!
I just got out of a 3 hour mediation. I am tired.
I like to show my inner dragqueen around the house, I never go outside like that but it is super fun to play with inside! Ill even let my boyfriend see the crazy makeup, just not the rest of the world! I know, I’m silly.
I unleash my inner drag queen with ginormous false lashes and extra glitter!
Dang! pretty much a dark smoky eye and bright lip is the way I look very drag queen-esque and not to mention the diva attitude and insanely high heels.

OMG a Drag U contest! If I don’t win this, I’ll die! I am such a huge Drag Race fan and have been counting down the days ’til Drag U starts. I even called up a web radio show when Jujubee was a guest a couple of months ago and tried to pump her for details about the show! (I think the Logo people must have told her not to give too much away, but she was a sweetheart anyway!)
I unleash my inner drag queen by doing bold makeup- I love bright colors and glitter, and when it comes to contouring, sometimes, in the words of Miss RuPaul herself, it gets “severe up in here!” I am not ashamed to admit that I have watched Drag Race exclusively for picking up makeup ideas!
I also sing all of RuPaul’s songs from the show to my cats, changing the lyrics to be about them. (e.g., “Kitty cat! Put the bass in your walk!”)
*Whew, ok. Need to stop before you think I’m TOO crazy!*
i unleash the inner drag queen by busting out the curling iron, spraying my curls upside down and slathering on the makeup until it is actually three dimensional
yay for NYX!! Sexy nude sky high platform heels and hot pink lips always unleashes my inner drag queen!!
I definitely pile on the eye makeup! Falsies, winged eyeliner, bold eyeshadow- love all of it!
False lashes, BRIGHT eyeshadow, and shimmery blush, oh man I wanna go DANCING!
I am seriously in love with RuPaul and the whole drag race alumni. Although Jujubee will always be my drag mother in another life. that girl was fierce! lol
Super crazy lashes (long, glittery, made of feathers etc…) are awesome. If I could, I’d rock them every day.
Love this Idea, love RuPaul! love NYX! 😀 *fist pump*

Why do I love bold, drag queen-worthy makeup?
I think bold drag queen makeup is fabolous. I think even if one isnt confident, just dressing up and wearing bold makeup helps give a little confidence boost. I love long fake eyelashes, bold lips and the sculpting and contouring.
Drag queens make me smile- what is better than that? Such fun!
What an awesome prize! I unleash my inner queen with rimmed smokey eyes and a killer pair of heels. 🙂
.-= Trude’s last blog post… So Long- San Francisco =-.
To unleash my inner drag queen will use lots and lots of glitter with dramatic falsies and a nice cat eye and bright lipstick and sing my heart away on stage 🙂
i love to karaoke anything bon jovi! 😀
I’ve never done karaoke but have planned it numerous times with friends and its always fallen through. On the bright side, my car is my personal karaoke machine hahaha!
I absolutely LOVE karaoke! I own my own Magic Mic karaoke system and would often karaoke at home by myself for the sake of my mental health. I can’t pick just one favorite karaoke song since I’m an avid karaoke-er and I go through song moods. There have been times when my set staples have included songs like White Flag by Dido and The Scientist by Coldplay. When I’m feeling extra super ambitious and just need to belt it out I go for songs like Run to You by Whitney Houston or Voice Within by Christina Aguilera. And then I lose my voice. Hahahaha! Lately I’ve been on a Pink and Gwen Stefani mood so I’ve been singing Just Like A Pill and Cool, but not Hollaback Girl! That song is NOT good for karaoke…
I unleash my inner drag whenever I put on my San Diego Cheer Elite uniform, fierce makeup, and sparkly eyelashes to boot 🙂 I’ll be unleashing my inner drag this Saturday at a performance on SD Pride’s main stage at 2:45pm 🙂
Hey Karen
My inner queen routine 🙂 super smokey eyes with lots and lots of eyeliner…nude lips and 6 inch beige Louboutins 🙂

my favorite karaoke song is don’t stop belivin’
Happy Birthday!!! 🙂
This is such a great giveaway in honor of your birthday!! 🙂
My favorite karaoke song is “I Love Rock n’ Roll.” I know it isn’t the most original song to sing to but I love getting to belt it out with friends on a microphone in front of a bunch of people. It’s always something that can make take my frown and turn it upside down. 🙂
Oh my gosh, this show looks amazing and hilarious. I drag out by…well..wearing some crazy colorful makeup.

I love bold, drag queen makeup because it’s an awesome expression of my personality, talent, and the fabulous, flamboyant woman I am!
When me and my best friend go out and get our drink on, people are in trouble if there is karoake going on! We are both completely tone deaf, and she is the loudest person I know.
We always sing “I Touch Myself” by the DiVinyls much to the mortification of her hubby and my man, lol, but we always have a blast and that’s what makes it so much fun!
I unleash my inner queen with falsies and fierce hair of course!
I love a drag queen’s confidence when they pretty much do anything… it seems even more prominent when they showcase their talent while dressed in their elaborate costumes… most of the time it’s singing… i LOVE singing like there’s no tomorrow when i’m with my friends… I like singing in a really deep voice and exaggerating every note and emotion… i think that’s pretty dragqueenesque… 🙂
Unleashing my inner drag queen includes fierce false lashes, bold eyes, flawless skin, big hair and a fabulous pair of shoes!
I unleash my inner drag queen with 5 inch stilettos and dramatic false eyelashes 😀
.-= styleezta’s last blog post… Trendy Tuesdays =-.
Love this show, I have been watching it from the beginning. I love drag queens. I love to make guys up to look like drag queens. FUN!!! It’s a great way to use the makeup you don’t like!!!
I’m so excited for this show now!!! I wish I had more drag queen friends!!
Guy Pierce pulls off drag surprisingly well. I almost didn’t believe it was him in Priscilla Queen of the Desert! His muscular arms give him away though…and speaking of fierce drag queens, has anyone seen Hedwig and the Angry Inch? It’s a pretty edgy film but, holy crow, Hedwig’s insanely glittery makeup is so, well, insane! I wish I was gutsy enough to pull off big, glittery, red lips.
When I think of drag queen, I think of huge hair, defined eyebrows, and long, luscious lashes!
i unleash my inner drag queen my wearing ridiculous heels, even though im already 5’9″ without them, so its a little outta control. but thats what being a drag queen is all about. i just be my absolute over the top self, with huge voluminous eyelashes of course
Hey Karen,
If u love drag queens like I do (a helluva lot) and u happen to be visiting Chicago, u should definitely check out the lovely ladies of The Baton.
These ladies definitely give a great show–an extravaganza of style, sophistication and glitter:-p I been there a few times a developed a crush on one of the performers…shhh don’t tell my hubby lol!
I used to work with a man whose given name was Jade. He had the craziest, archiest eyebrows I had EVER seen! On weekends, the whole store used to go downtown to see his drag act. He performed as “Jade” (like Sade!!!). He was amazing! We used to bring in shoulder pads that we cut out of jackets and shirts so he could use them to pad his dresses!
I am a sucker for Karyn White’s ‘Superwoman.’ That’s the ladies empowerment song for me! I’d belt this while rocking intense lashes and heavy matte lipstick and bam! Drag diva!
me me me me me me me
all I have to say is: Karen, YOU BETTA WERK!
Drag queen BINGO is awesome, not only do I have a great time…all the proceeds go to benefit the local AIDS/HIV foundation. Love ya Ru!
Lady Gaga karaoke ftw!
I need Logo! Seconded Lady Gaga
I love using 2 or 3 really bright colors (like pink and turquoise) together on my lids for a great pop of color that draws attention every time 🙂
my fav karaoke song is anything by journey- especially lovin touchin squeezin : )
Definitely the eye makeup. Thick, shimmery, colored liner and lots of mascara. And then more mascara for good measure.
That’s a huge giveaway!
I think it’s all in the eyes. Lots of eyeliner (dramatic, bold, winged eyeliner), mascara, and smokey eyes. A glittery sequin dress wouldn’t hurt either :3

I love drag queen’s make up skills. They’re so bold with what they wear – love it!
Prince is the only way to go!
I love buying bright blue eyeliners and eyeshadows to make my eyes be the center of attention. I like to do the same to my mom!
my favorite songs to sing are of course Lady Gaga!
I would watch RuPaul’s drag race for makeup tips. That’s how I mastered contouring! Can’t wait to watch RuPaul’s Drag U.
I love busting out a dark smokey eye and extra long, extra plush falsies when I tranny out. I also bring out my big girl heels that are at least 4 inches =D
To unleash my inner drag queen I load on the mascara. Not to mention some glittery eye liner!

drag queens really scare me…but i love nyx!
i really liked the vh1 show that was on recently where the drag queens made over women. i think one was from rupaul’s drag race? anywho, i think every girl needs a little something every day, whether it’s mascara or pink lip gloss.
I love drag makeup because it allows you to release your alter ego. You can be anyone and beautiful at the same time!
I let my inner diva out when my makeup looks really good with like a smokey eye and my hair is done real nice. Then I feel fierce!
I went to a drag show once and thought one of the performers looked sooo familiar! Turns out it was my butcher! go figure! 🙂
my inner drag, is GLITTER!!! I guess that could be inner stripper too, I love love love, me some glitter, if it was appropriate for me to wear on a daily basis I totally would.
I release my inner drag queen when I’m with my friends, putting the craziest make up on each other and dancing/singing around like divas 😀
This prize package looks so amazing – I can only imagine how I would unleash my ‘inner-diva’ with all of those bold colors! Thanks for holding this giveaway, Karen!
i love wearing bold, bright colors because they show off my personality and highlight my dark rich skin tone! this giveaway looks amazing!
I like drag makeup because it is the complete opposite of my day-to-day makeup look, and I appreciate that! The bold colors, precise lines, and playful attitude of drag makeup is simply awesome!
First off, happy birthday….
Great giveaway…
I just got done taking an exam…
I unleash my inner drag queen by listening to Rupaul’s Champion CD extra loud to get a dose of ferosh attitude and putting on bold colors and cute chunky statement jewelry.
.-= Malaka’s last blog post… =-.
Big barrel curls make me feel like a diva.
Glitter and be gay. Very gay.
I love me some colorful eyeshadow always makes me feel fabulous!!!
Lots of silver glitter, false lashes and eyeliner 🙂 awesome giveaways!
WOWzers!! This is awesome!! I have always had a thing for drag queens too. Um, “Pricilla Queen of the Desert” was my favorite movie for a long time! I also named a frog we “grew” from tadpole eggs laid in our pool skimmer RuPaul many years ago. My familty thought I was a bit odd for that one… Great giveaway, Karen. Thanks! 🙂
I’m currently planning my wedding and when shopping for wedding gowns, when I was asked what I wanted to look like on my wedding day, I said, “A drag queen…because they’re goregous and glamourous!” I even contacted a few drag queens asking them if they could do my makeup for my wedding!
Bright eyeshadows, thick eye liners and some long flirty lashes! thanks for the giveaway
That was me today! I wore a bright bold outfit with some thick eyeliner, sparkly eyeshadow and some fun bouncy hair!
I love wearing bold and colorful eye looks for an everyday look. I wear bright colors out in the daytime and for school and I love it! I don’t feel like a drag queen, but I suppose other people may find it clown-ish. I don’t care about what they think, I still love my dramatic makeup! 😀
Mmm, my favorite kareoke memeory is from cancer camp 🙂 Me and my friends their begged on of the ocunclers to sig with us, and he eneded up rocking spice girls and some oops i did it again! 😀 It’s amazing what people do to make little girls happy!
Luv the dragulator! Boo, I’m all over this!
Hi Karen, I tweeted this too!
There is never a bad time to work false eyelashes!
I have a terrible singing voice, but if I could sound like anyone it would be Aretha or Stevie…. and you would find me doing karaoke every day of the week.
Hahaha don’t even get me started. Thick black eyeliner (usually top lid only, but ocassionally I’ll use a lil on the bottom outer corner) and black volumizing mascara (Maybelline Colossal!), then usually a plain lip/near-plain lip (maybe use a light pink) since I don’t want the makeup to look too fake. But if I’m feeling daring enough I’ll grab some deep plum or dark red lipstick, maybe some hot pink if I’m feeling like it…but usually I’ll keep a neutral eye with the lip to keep all attention on it. For blush I’ll always be VERY careful…because although I do like bits of dramatization, I just don’t like the I-used-everything-in-my-kit look.
.-= Anita’s last blog post… Milani Liquif’Eye Metallic Eye Liner in Black Review =-.
I looooove NYX! And drag queens! They are tooo funny.
I unleash my inner queen by getting ready to MeShell Ndegeocello’s “If That’s Your Boyfriend” (after all atmosphere is everything, dah-lings) and allowing myself to indulge in exaggerated liner, the drag queen staple of a cut crease on the eyeshadow, and hair as high as I can take it. Not to mention, a girl needs her shoes, right? They are as high as I can safely manage.
Haayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! I let out my inner drag queen with super high heels and over the top eyeshadow and thick eyelashes..You better work! 😉
HaHa! I think drag queen-style glamour just comes naturally to me!
Eye makeup!! I’m talking about intense black gel eyeliner, coats of mascara and 3-4 false lashes with a big hunk of ATTITUDE!–> all this at one time. Drama-rama!!!
I love bold lipstick
I love drag queens! I have been to drag shows, and absolutely loved it!!!

i unleash my inner drag queen through shoes, specifically platforms. I’ve got a few pairs that my sister has dubbed “hooker worthy,” haha! They’re absolutely gaudy and I love them! Thanks for the opportunity! Awesome giveaway!
I love drag queens they are so fun! I like to unleash my inner drag queen w/argent, Dior liner and spike hells, along w/ a slinky black dress!
The thing I love about the drag look is the contouring. While it’s a little bold for everyday those queens can contour some cheeks hunny!!
I’m pretty good with makeup but I haven’t mastered or even gotten close to being able to contour. It would be nice if you could maybe do a post on your blog and show how to contour and the best products/colors for it.
I love all the glitter in that makeup! I can’t wear glitter to work, but I love to use glittery makeup at home.
I probably unleash my inner drag queen more through words than how I look^_^ lol. But I do have an addiction to perilously high heels too.
omigod, i went to a drag queen show at my school and it was MAHVALOUS! i love drag queens, theyre usually so outgoing and happy and totally embrace their own beauty and sexuality.. theyre very free and beautiful people who aren’t afraid to WORK IT =)
I unleash my inner drag queen with some really high cage stilettos, flirty falsie lashes, some great contouring on my face, bold brows and a nude lips with a really bright eyeshadow pairings.
I love Drag Queens because they aren’t afraid to take beauty risks. I unleash my inner drag queen by wearing sparkly eyeshadow and 6 inch heels, and busting out to “its raining men” on karaoke 🙂
I Will Survive and Dancing Queen! These two have to be the ultimate karaoke songs.
I love singing anything by Cher at karaoke – any period, any style. Singing Cher brings out my inner drag queen!
I love to play with bright colors and and work on doing my fierce face in my vanity mirror! It takes the stress off from the daily grind and always gets a smil on my face!

RuPaul is my HERO!!!
All the glitter and fabulousness that can be achieved by being a drag queen is simply amazinggg. To me, drag queen makeup is a different form of art that some people may not appreciate, but there are the ones that do.
I put multiple coats of mascara and full lips! Lipliner, lipstick and lipgloss! Oh, and lots of glitter, too.
i went to ladies night tonite! boy that was a hoot!
The closest I did to being vampy is doing cat’s eye on my eyes. I love how thick eyeliners make my eyes look so bright. 🙂
i unleash my inner drag queen by incorporating glitter into my makeup looks when i’m not at work. i LOVE glitter 😀
I love RuPaul’s Drag Race!!
To me, unleashing my inner drag queen means very arched, bold brows, huge lashes (requires falsies), perfect face makeup (foundation), bronzed skin, and pale pink, almost stripper, lips. Hair should be very big and glamorous (something along the lines of Beyonce), dress should be skin-tight and show off every curve, there should be LOTS of cleavage, and heels should be sky high. A bold, confident personality is also required. =)

How do I unleash my inner drag queen? Well, first and foremost; I slap on the purple and pink eye shadow and dig up some false eyelashes! Then, I bust out my loudest, most obnoxious Priscilla Queen of the Desert platforms and start struttin’ around Old Town.
Favourite Karaoke song? Depends on the amount of cocktails that I drunk…lol
I love going karaoke (=
i love busting out into terrible song and screaming at the highest pitch my poor little voice can go [=
Bold makeup is pretty much a must, especially glitter! When I want to go all out and theatrical, sometimes I block out my brows to make the look much more intense. And glitter; the glitter is everywhere! <3

I think I may have exhausted my drag queen reserves. I went through a full 12+ months of daily falsies a few years back – don’t ask me how I did it!
My favorite karaoke song of the moment is Taylor Swift’s You Belong With Me. 🙂
in order to unleash your inner drag queen you need: false eyelashes, really high heels (i’m talking 4+ inches), and of course intense eye makeup. don’t forget the attitude! there’s nothing sadder than a drag queen without a spicy attitude (:
Well, my inner drag queen usually doesn’t come out until I tie on a serious buzz. Liquored up I go into the bathroom and find myself bored with whatever neutral look I am wearing that day. I proceed to apply dramatic makeup that I would otherwise not have the confidence to wear, like thick cat-eye liner, loads of mascara, and fuchsia lips! Then when I realize I am outta booze, I head to the gay bar with my pals and hang out with some real drag queens!
Love you all! I would love to win this beautiful makeup and unleash my inner drag queen! Then celebrate by by dancing the night away!! You are all beutiful! LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH!
Best lesson I’ve learned from the drag queens I’ve known: makeup is not just for being pretty but for fun as well! I wear my makeup now mainly for the purpose of having fun with it! Forget having boring neutrals on all the time! I love to have an eye-full of color (haha!). I wore false eye lashes for my wedding and a whole new part of my soul opened up!
I don’t really have a favorite karaoke song, but I love dancing around and singing Lady Gaga and Fall Out Boy.
.-= Allie’s last blog post… The Damned Things shirt that makes me feel ridiculously special =-.

I love drag queens too- they are my favorite part of gay pride parades =)
I rock my inner drag queen in two ways: I LOVE me some shoes. The higher the heel, the better!
I’m also a fan of karaoke. I can’t sing to save my life, but I love parading around with friends, pretending we can sing. “LIP-SYNCH FOR YOUR LIFE!”
Love me some RuPaul. 🙂
I’m going to an 80’s pub crawl tomorrow night and I cannot wait to rock out in my Pat Benatar look 🙂
Have a great weekend!
My inner drag queen is unleashed during friday karaoke nights with friends. I always have my little book with me that has song numbers and ready for punching into the machine..XD..I love to sing the songs: Kiss Me, Crazy for u, Stay (I missed u)-Lisa Loeb and many mowe..haha..though my voice would make the sky cry and the lizards fell to the ground… but still, i love to sing..la-la-la.
How do I unleash my inner drag queen? Channeling RuPaul’s attitude and confidence plus giving myself some crazy-defined eyebrows. Still working up to the false lashes, but this seems like the perfect time to try!
I love big, fat lashes! I pile on volumizing black mascara and top it off with a coat of carbon black pigmented mascara!

Ooh Karen…I’m crossing my fingers right now. I love NYX…and they have some great colors. Unfortunately I’ve been super boring lately. Definitely need an excuse to bring out my inner diva.
I love Rupaul’s Drag Race and can’t wait to see Drag U now! My inner drag queen is unleashed when I’m partying it up to Cher’s “Believe” in my car.
I would unleash it through makeup! Drag queen makeup is so intense and amazing. Applying just a little bit is never fun. They contour heavily intense eyes, lips everything! Petrilude on youtube has some amazing drag tutorials. Also intense lashes.
Favorite karaoke song: anything by Queen! 🙂
I also love big, dramatic, tacky lashes!
LOVE THEM DRAGS!
I truly admire their confidence.
I unleash my inner drag queen by putting on big, fabulous false lashes and then putting on my 5 inch heels. Nothing makes me feel more fierce!
Favorite karaoke song would be anything from the 80’s! I haven’t unleashed my inner drag queen, but I’m sure the NYX items in the giveaway would help!
I unleash my inner drag queen simply by allowing myself to be myself….and enjoying as many desserts as I want!
I love RuPaul!, so glad to see him out and about again. Drag queens are fabulous!

What I love the most about bold, drag queen make up? Don’t even have to think about it. Honestly, what’s not to love about FIERCE eyelashes, super lively eye shadows, bold lips and, let’s not forget… wearing fantabulous colors on your nails? Almost too much goodness in one look.
I would love to be a female drag queen! I love over-the-top femininity and I think that drag queens do that better than anyone!! I like to bring out my inner queen with bright, sparkly eye makeup and shiny sparkly lip gloss! 🙂

Because I never am able to try out extreme makeup looks,
For my inner drag queen, I tease up my hair to gigantic proportions, wear bold colors and strut my stuff while listening to “It’s Raining Men”! Work it girl!
I like to wear bug bold eyeshadow and dark eyeliner with lots of glitter!
Oops big* and bold red lips!
Ahhh I was just thinking about this Drag U the other day wondering when it was going to premier. Very convenient post.
I love drag queens. They are absolutly fierce. There makeup is always on point. I love the lashes, the contouring, the heels, all of it. They are beautiful.
I’m only a make-up novice but my first choice of cosmetics is Nyx thanks to my makeup guru back home.
I am so happy about this contest, and mad excited for Drag U! If only Drag were approved for girls’ every-day wear. *pout*
Inner Drag Queen is lots of black eyeliner with wings and lots of blood red, lush lips!!

Oh. My. God. I am a devoted fan of Drag Race. Nina Flowers will forever be my favorite queen. She can WERK! As for why I love the queens? They’re men; men who impersonate women and make me proud to be a lady. It may be silly but I truly look up to the queens. They are gorgeous performers and mighty talented. I love their bold make-up. Now if only I can do my own make-up as good as Nina. *sighs* One of these days. <3
There’s nothing like getting down and twerkin with the gays! Was definitely a fag-hag until I hit college!
I do the hand on hip, look em top to bottom and give em the old talk to the hand routine! lol Very empowering and drag queen like lol

I unleash my inner drag queen by wearing bright colored makeup. It makes me feel bold and fierce.
I live for NYX! Especially their glosses.
i love bold makeup! I’ve recently started using false lashes, so yeaaah
How do I unleash my inner drag queen? I have a pair of 2 inch blue lashes that I toss on with everything from my favorite blue outfit to a great pair of jeans. They make me feel full on glam and pretty.
I unleash my inner drag queen by sexy lingerie! I wear sexy panties every day of the week (I try to with bras..but sometimes I just have to go with a comfortable one ha ha). I love being at work and knowing that underneath my uniform I have on some stunning lacy thong – and it makes things exciting for my boyfriend 😉

What an incredible giveaway!
I unleash my inner drag queen with scads of brightly-colored eyeshadow on days when I’m feeling fancy! I love to rock heavy eye makeup, even when the time of day or occasion doesn’t necessarily call for it!
I LOVE the “Prance I said” picture! It reminds me of an episode of Made on MTV where Janice Dickinson was teaching the “Pony Prance.” It’s the move you do when you are wearing stilettos and walking on grass. You walk on your toes and pick your knees up high with each step so that the heel doesn’t sink into the ground.
.-= Ali’s last blog post… Brazilian Blowout =-.
My favorite karaoke song would be Wannabe by the Spice Girls!
Love Love Love NYX! Thanks for the great giveaway…. 🙂
Oh geez, I need some of this NYX! I’ve been searching everywhere for it. It’s driving me crazy. I don’t want to order online because I hate S&H. :/
Whenever I think of make up and drag queens, I think of MAC’s Heatherette collection! Lolol! So, I’m dying to see what RuPaul’s Drag U has to offer with his drag queen makeovers. How would I release my inner drag queen? I would amp up the volume of my hair and pick out some bold colors for my eyes. Maybe that teal eye you should us in the Saturday Surfing post and I would put on some false eyelashes to match! And some confidence? What’s a drag queen without confidence? Lol.
When I want to unleash my inner drag queen by wearing dramatic false lashes and glitter!!
I have never tried NYX! I really need too!!!!!
I like drag queen makeup because it makes me look fierce and independent.
I unleash my inner drag queen with super dramatic eyelashes and filled in brows, accented with lots of bold colors, of course. Thanks for the great giveaway!
i’ve always wanted to try nyx makeup. good luck everybody!
I unleash my inner drag queen by coming up with bold makeup looks (or at least trying) I love how drag queens aren’t afraid of the makeup and are so confident with themselves 🙂
Hmm.. How do I unleash my inner drag queen? Loads of mascara, glitter everywhere, and some super glossy lipgloss
I love drag queens. I find them fascinating because of all the time and effort they put into what they do. They’re so talented!!
The closest I get to unleashing my inner drag queen is white stilettos and faux lashes. And vogue-ing in front of the mirror.
.-= K’s last blog post… photos Watch out- =-.

i unleash my inner drag queen with the most insane false lashes ….i LOVE them hahahah
after experimenting with make up looks, i just go palette-crazy and pile on different colors as i please. i love how unleashing your inner drag queen also feels like releasing your inhibitions. 🙂
it’s fun to channel your inner drag queen once in awhile! and to any glitter-phobes out there, have no fear, because it really is wearable for people with any personality…who says you hace to pack it on? sometimes it’s best as a subtle accent…or who says you have to wear it on your face? there;s nails, hair, skin…the possibilities are endless. and universal 🙂 so get your drag on & rock it out!

What’s a girl gotta do to get some fierce up in here? I’m in love, and I mean, in LOVE with make-up. In fact, I may enjoy playing with cosmetics more then most men probably do. Hell, do most men even enjoy make-up? Oh well, I do! Some day I dream of being a glamorous drag queen, but until then I like to practice make-up on myself and my friends. Practice makes perfect, and no one wants to see sloppy joe performing ‘I am woman’ on stage! I want to look like a hot mess and without a doubt I’m sure that NYX Cosmetics could unleash the inner drag queen inside me tugging at my heart saying, “Bitch! Put that wig on! Who cares if it’s not yours! Bitch, you better work! Or else!” of course, she’ll also be singing ‘Jealous of my Boogie’ by RU over and over again until I end up stealing that wig! I guess I wouldn’t have to steal wigs if I had that gift card, but we’ll see now won’t we? Please don’t make me steal wigs. Pretty please?
I wondered what happened to RuPaul!

LMBO. This drag u idea is FUN-NY. Makes sense though. I love playing dress up, even as an adult, it does make me feel fierce. And i love long lashes and bold glossy lips
My favorite karaoke song… These boots are made for walking by Nancy Sinatra 🙂
NYX is so fun and this is a great collection! Perfect to “unlease the inner drag queen”, even if just on weekends 🙂
I wear so big fake lashes, and so big bold colors!!
Oh my God! What a dream it would be to win all of this amazing stuff! Fingers & toes & eyes crossed!
Went to a wedding last night & had a bit too much to drink – I should be packing up the hotel room & getting breakfast, but instead I’m entering blog contests. Hmmm…
Once, I helped a guy dress in drag (am not sure if this is the proper way to say it), and I had so much fun. HE/SHE unleashed his/her inner drag queen!
Shoes and makeup!! You cant really go wrong with huge hair and huge stripper-esqe shoes!
I love drag queen makeup and I feel it is a necessity to release my inner drag queen everyday before I go throughout my day. It gives me this confidence and gay boys love to take pictures of me. I work as a door greeter at walmart.. I constantly get the OMG YOUR MAKEUP IS SO CUTE! YOU LOOK FIERCE BITCH! And my all time favorite YOU BETTA WORK!!!!
I love to sing Grease songs. They would be so much fun to sing Karaoke style. 🙂

This giveaway is awesome!
I have not been able to unleash my inner drag queen in a long time because I’m a stay at home mother and I think the judgemental PTA moms would give me the side eyes. I do, however, have no shame in expressing myself through song and bad choreography as often as possible with my kids (16, 7 and 6). It can happen anywhere…in the car (arm choreography included) and always at home.
I love to watch RuPaul’s Drag Race, their makeup is incredible! The thing I like the most is that it gives out a great message to not be ashamed of who you are and that they also support charities like AIDS.
I always wanted to try their super skinny markere but my local Ulta never has it 🙁
I love bold makeup! I love that it makes a statement!
I don’t have any NYX products and would love to try these! You always have fabulous giveaways Karen, thanks!!

NYX Cosmetics are awesome! This contest and RuPaul are both ama-zing 😉
I love the big, bright, and bold looks that combine being over-the-top with sex appeal! It is fun to push the limits of makeup and hair to see what we can achieve, drag queens do this all the time with skills that put many womens’ skills to shame.
my favorite karaoke song is… probably “lady lumps” by black eyed peas.. especially when the girls are hyper and having an awesome time and the guys are a little more shy. LOL. and pretending to be unwilling.

I was just watching a RuPaul’s Drag Race marathon today and I just love the makeup, the outfits, and the confidence these poeple have!
I totally agree with you falsies are a must for big bold dramatic eyes aka drag queen eyes as well as colorful bold eyeshadow works. I have never had falsies on before but would like to try BUT am kind of nervous to try them on myself.
I have always wanted to try NYX but never seem to get around to buying their products.
I’m so jealous of the make up skillz the contestants of RuPaul’s Drag Race have!
Sometimes it’s just plain fun to wear bold makeup. 🙂

Oops…I think I kind of look like a drag queen today! Too much makeup for work, but I realized it too late. Ha!
These prizes are great and looking forward to the show.
I have so much respect for drag queens! It takes a lot of guts to pull that off. I used to watch RuPaul’s Drag Race regularly, and I’ll definitely be tuning in tonight for the premier of DragU. 😀
I do it by walking in my mom’s high heels because they are two sizes to small for me and my heels hang out the back.
OMG! I can’t wait to see this show!!
My inner drag queen comes out my love of big hair and dramatic makeup. Sometimes, after a hard (and sometimes frustrating) day at work, I go home, hot roll my hair, and try out a wild new makeup look. Sure, my cats may look at me funny, but oh well!
Need more makeup, it is an addition! haha
My inner drag queen emerges after a big bold blowout at my favorite salon, paired with fushia or red lips depending on my mood. I can’t help but feel confident and sexy after a blowout!
Omg, I have never released my inner drag queen and I would sure love to try. I have beige clothes, beige makeup and I beige life. How sad it that? I need to win this and get some Flava!

What a great giveaway! I love NYX’s lipgloss in French Kiss… so pretty!!! 🙂
I love to overdraw my lip liner and then fill my lips in with a hot pink, juicy gloss.
RuPaul is THE ultimate Drag Queen. Although she/he does everything in excess, eyshadow, lipstick, eyelash, big hair, shiny, loud clothing, 6 inch heels, it somehow works for her and she looks fabulous. As a woman, if I looked half as good as she did, I’d be in heaven.
By emulating her attitude, which is just as outrageous and Big as her appearance, which is what makes her a star, I release the inner drag queen in me by wearing bright eyeshadows and lipstick/gloss together even though the experts say “the rules” are one or the other. I LOVE huge eyelashes and wear a lot of mascara, as long as it doesn’t flake and have that spidery appearance, I wear my hair super long although not necessarily the style most women wear today. I create my own look based upon what makes me happy, not because the experts say so. And particularly, I always have my eyes overdone because I believe my eyes are my best feature and I like attracting attention to them. I love wearing the bright colors and am not afraid to experiment with color. But none of this would ever work if I didn’t have the attitude to match the outward appearance. So Atitiude is the key to releasing the inner drag queen in me.
Wow..I love NYX products 🙂 I love experimenting with colors especially with eye shadows 🙂 and juicy lips of course 🙂
This is the best giveaway EVER! I’ve been obsessed with drag makeup since I was 13 and I got to go backstage to watch some of my older friends prepare for a fashion show at one of the few gay clubs in town. Their application of makeup is truly an art form that requires more respect!
I love bold, drag queen style makeup because of the guys behind the makeup – they’re not afraid to flaunt it. They are so confident and I love that. Whether the makeup be simple or outrageous, they do it flawlessly.
I am a lesbian and some of my best friends are gay so we frequent drag shows and pageants very often and I love them. Not only are they confident but they are also so sexy and sweet. And they also always have the best makeup tips!!! My favorite way to unleash my inner drag is to wear over the top lashes and bright bold lips!!!!

I unleash my inner drag queen by turning on some fabulous music and belt along while shakin’ what my mama gave me. These days the shakin’ happens more often @ home (homemaker), but I’ve been known to break it out whenever I hear something good no matter where I am. Being in touch with one’s inner drag queen means always being ready to perform. 😉
I unleash my inner diva by putting my Rupaul CD on and strutting around with my feather boa! It makes me feel fierce!
As I approach my 45th birthday, I have come to the realization that I have lived my entire life for someone else. Now that my youngest child is approaching his 21st birthday and I am quickly moving towards my 1st bachelors degree, I want to release my inner Drag Queen and begin to treat myself with all the love that I have given to others. Overcoming all obstacles and moving towards being the “real” me.

Watching Ru Paul’s Drag Race and/or Drag U is a great way to begin unleashing my inner drag queen. Big hair and fabulous make-up and a pair stripper shoes I bought for fun are icing on the Drag Cake! If I were a man, I would totally be a drag queen. Fo sho!
I love you Ru! I’m not a drag queen but I love my inner diva. This bitch can lip sync to Ke$ha “your love is my drug” like nobody else.
I portray my inner drag in my everyday life. I don’t do drag, but I always wear the most outlandish clothing mixed with extreme/ intense makeup. Why? I believe that since I only have one life, I need to make it as amusing as possible.
I believe that everyone should unleash their inner drag and not take life too seriously. The world will be a much more fun place if you learn to explore different avenues and make it your own!
In the words of RuPaul, “you’re born, and the rest is drag”.
=]
I’ve been dying to try NYX since I started watching Drag Race.
How do I unleash my Inner drag queen? I am a belly dancer so when me and my best friend Sierra get ready for a show we like to pack on bold and fierce make up to match our home made costumes. We like to call this dragging out belly dance style! Of course neither of us have jobs so we have to buy cheap make up and share each others stuff so if I won this it would definitely be put to good use!
I unleash my inner drag queen by conquering my fears, taking better care of myself, and the recent obsession with keeping my nails done in funky colors. Ok maybe not drag queen… more princess… lady in waiting maybe lol. Next is teaching myself how to walk in heels!
I release my inner drag queen with a good push up bra. Whatever you wear looks better when the girls are in their proper place.
Get all gussied up have some yummy magaritas with my chicks..and sing some old disco songs at he local bowling alley..LOL
My favorite karaoke song is Baby Got Back, because when I throw my booty pads on, that’s what everybody yells! Give me some fierce makeup, hooker heels and I’m ready to rock the town!
I unleashed my inner drag queen just last night! Me and my best girls got together for the premiere of Drag U and whipped out all the drag queen essentials – ridiculous wigs, fabulous clothes, fruity drinks and WAY too much lipstick!
If only my lips were that big!! Oh, the lovely illusions of make up.

Drag queens inspire me to love myself fiercely and be true to myself. I am in desperate need to unleash my inner drag queen. I don’t wear makeup but would like to see how I would look in full makeup….also, honestly, I am unemployed, just got my benefits cut off and cannot find a job so I need something to boost my spirit at the moment.
i LOVE that you are having a giveaway!! As Raven would say, “I’m Young, Broke and Fabulous!” I could use this win to help out this drag queen!
My inner diva is released the minute I’m down and out. When I feel like I don’t have any fight left. I get everything the glitter , the gloss and the heels. I put them together and remind myself this is my glamorous war paint. That I am a fierce Warrior and I shall rise from the ashes!
this summer, i have been pinning my hair up into a gibson-meets-pompadour. i don’t profess to be drag as much as intentionally questioning the societally enforced borders of gender. Makeup, such as what you are giving away, is a reminder that all of it is a form of drag, of intentional representation to cinch the identity you want people to see on you.
Count me in! I love looking and feeling fabulous each and everyday.
rue your the best thing to hit tv in 20yrs keep up the good work ..i did drag for almost 30yrs sure do mis it….love ya lots wes sinclair
Even growing up in NYC can be a lonely place, especially when you feel like you do not belong. As a survivor of child molestation, it was very difficult to feel comfortable in my own skin and to gain back what was stolen from me at such a young age. I came out of my shell and started to feel powerful and not care what others thought of me or my future. I continue to strive for greatness, and it was actually on Halloween of 2006 that my inner diva made a splash when I went out in full makeup and attire as Sharon Stone’s character in Basic Instinct; Catherine Tramell. That was a great film, and that character was nothing but power and confidence. Two things that were taken from me, but I got them back when I discovered the diva inside of me. Everyone needs to find theirs, liberating is an understatement to how it feels. Peace & Love to all of you!
I’m a drag queen trapped in a woman’s body – I did drag for several years, and have always been at home in the lgbt community. I still have some of my wigs and probably a dozen pairs of lashes in all colors and styles!! I don’t get logo, so I watched both seasons of RPDR online, and fell completely in love with some of the girls! I’d audition for the next season of Drag U (you know there’s gonna be one!), but think my chances of getting chosen are slim – I’ve spent too much time in drag queen dressing rooms! I’ve always admired you, Ru, and wish there were some way for me to meet all those fabulous queens!!! xoxoxo
I would love to get some feirce drag makeup!! Bring out my inner DIVA!!
I can’t afford to buy any of this stuff because my husband & I are both unemployed… it’d be nice to look good once in a while.
My fave karaoke song: Mimi, We Belong Together. It is so emo and divalicious all at the same time! And don’t forget the Mariah hand motions while you sing!
To release my inner drag queen, I need the foundation to do so. I have always wanted to do drag. I have some knowledge about it since a lot of my friends are or have been queens. So pick me and help this ladyboy out will ya?!
I am glad to see the show going with NYX cosmetics insted of MAC this year.
RuPaul is so iconic this is awesome!
Today is my 18th birthday! I am convinced that I was a flamboyant gay stylist in my past life. I unleash my inner diva by being real, being true to myself, and loving my gays! I LOVE YOU RU!
I LOVE Drag U! Finally a show were I could be a drag queen! 🙂
I love to unleash my inner diva after sundown, you know the freaks come out at night! LOL
If you drag’n then you better put a wig on it! I unleash my inner queen with fabulous wigs and lots and lots of makeup! Theres nothing better than using yourself as a using yourself as a blank canvas to express yourself on. When I look good and feel great, I can take on the world!
oh jujube, how cute are you?!
I’m a Diva all the time (drag or otherwise) and I only sing karioke on cruise ships!
I love my Ru….I’m all female but my inner drag persona name is Cheetah Girl…..She’s fierce, loves make up,stripper poles and cupcakes….i’d love to lip synch 4 my life in front of Ru and the panel…..<3
I want to win this to give is to my boyfriend. He has recently accepted the fact that he is feminine and is really getting into cross-dressing, but he has no money to spend on living basics, let alone makeup and female clothing. This would really just make his year to get a gift like this and finally be able to live what he feels.
I don’t have an inner diva – it is ALWAYS on display full-blast, MMKAY!
I need make-up lessons.. i have the passion, but not the skill!! I need a drag queens help 😉
I unleash my inner drag queen by workin’ it, loca! 🙂 And facebook stalking Nina Flowers. How fabulous is she? 🙂
My inner drag queen comes out with bold lip colors and sparkly, tiara-like headbands. I love me some shocking bling. 🙂
.-= Angelika Albaladejo’s last blog post… Happy Birthday to Me =-.
Can’t WAIT for the premiere! I watched Ru’s Drag Race religiously – with my husband, even! We both love the makeovers they undergo – amazing! I only WISH I knew HALF of what those divas know about makeup and looking hawt. I’m one of those tomboy girls… grew up with hippie parents, never brushed my hair, big glasses, geek-ified, and I just never learned! Hubby says I could be hot if it TRIED, but I just have no clue what I’m doing! I will definintely be watching tonight, looking for tips and tricks from my favorite Drag Divas! I have new job where everyone’s fashion forwrads, and I have a work trip to our NYC office in two weeks! I definintely NEED the help!! 😉
How do I unleash my inner drag queen? I’ve been working with a college night drag show for almost 10 years, and I unleash my inner Drag Queen every week on their collective asses! And I’m just the stage manager!
I love NYX!!! It’s great makeup!! I love the eye shadow it very glam!!
I loooove the dramatics of drag make-up and am always amazed at the transformation of men into fierce women. I can never be sad or in a bad mood around a drag queen!
I absolutely LOVE bold, drag queen-worthy makeup because it unleashes my INNER FIERCENESS like nothing else can!! BRING ON THE LASHES LASHES & MORE LASHES!!! It gives me a confidence that my husband finds to be UBER SEXXXY! I couldnt resist telling you that my FAVORITE karaoke song is “SUPERMODEL” (YOU BETTER WORK!)
I learned a few things watching the first show of Drag U and look forward to MORE MORE MORE!! RuPaul rulz.
HOW DO I UNLEASH MY INNER DRAG QUEEN? SIMPLE, WITH A GREAT BIG BOTTLE OR NAIR.. YEP THAT DOES THE TRICK, OR I CAN ALWAYS USE THE WEED WACKER.. MY FAVORITE SONG TO LIP SYNC TO IS JELOUSE OF MY BOOGIE by THE LEGENDARY RU PAUL
as a jammer for the Boardwalk Bomshells- Santa Cruz’s All Star roller derby team, my inner drag queen comes out as soon as i line up for a jam. i hear RuPaul’s voice in my head saying over and over again- You Betta Work! and Don’t F**k it up!!
I find that the more i listen to Ru and trust my inner fabulousness- the more likely i am to beat the other jammer off the line and score hella points for my team.
RuPaul is my personal little shoulder angel telling my nasty negative little brain to quit drinking the haterade. <3
Wearing heels, getting my nails done, changing hairstyles frequently, and generally just being a Southern Queen
I bring the inner drag with m,y fierce walk ; )
my 30th b’day party was a drag party!
OMG girl i let out my inner drag queen everywhere i go i look fierce with my long eye lashes and bold eye make up, Honey! i make heads turn lol
My inner drag queen loves a good irridescent eye shadow.
Just thought I’d enter, my boyfriend got me a big nothing for my birthday and I’ve been a mess about it ever since…..it would make me smile!!!! And I LOVE your new show!
Never underestimate the healing power of a little vanity! Religious pilgramages or years of psychotherapy VERSUS slap on some fake eyelashes, three inch heels, and a wig. BAM! Instant soul make-over.
I love all my girls from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Especially my boricuas Nina and Jessica. I always unleash my inner drag queen diva with my 6 inch heals and a martini!
Ru and Crew would be proud while on Tour I was able to do my makeup under 10 minutes .. with some kickass eyeliner… need that makeup…
I can’t say I’ve ever thought about unleashing my inner drag queen… but now might be a good time to start!
I use a glitter eye pencil and metallic heels! Love DragU!
I think drag queens remind us to be sexy & powerful. As busy women we sometimes forget it’s not all about tired t-shirts and sad slacks! When I fall in a rut I remind myself of my Diva with some shiny fierce! A gorgeous neclace here, a juicy gloss there – and Let’s Get Loud thumping in the background 😉
For me, Drag = Diva… it’s all about attitude! I have done a lot of work w/ lbgt community and have found more acceptance and respect there than anywhere amongst my hetero counterparts.
I love to party w/ the Queens because they treasure every moment of live and extend respect & acceptance to every person – just for them being themselves. They have taught me to treasure every laugh, tear, joke, jibe, togetherness or being alone. I try to remember these lessons and apply them where ever I am. I am a Drag Diva on the inside – I just need the outside to match! pmsl! This is where you come in…. ~;-)
After watching Drag Race & attending a few drag shows in my area, I have been inspired both personally & professionally. I take pride in how I look when I leave my house & take the time to “glam it up” whenever possible. As a working mother of 3, the only time I really have to myself is when I am getting ready for my job as a hairstylist. I go to work feeling great, because I look my best. Those few minutes I get to style my hair & put on my makeup are the only relaxing part of my day.In the past, I never experimented much with my eye shadows, but now I know that bolder is better, & my eyes look great! Now I feel that when I go to work, I can make everyone feel great about themselves too! I had not heard of NYX cosmetics before Drag Race, but am interested in trying out their products.
Thanks RuPaul & the ladyboys of Drag Race for giving me a well needed confidence booster!!!.
I think every woman and man has a inner drag and i dont think anyone should take rude comments to heart they only have something to say because you cought their eyes right?!?!? you must be doing something right for them to hate and that something is being you! there is nothing more powerfull or more buetifull than just being you so take all that hate and just take it in as love they r just secreat fans can i get a amen
I work in a law office so it can be hard to release my inner drag queen. Since our business attire is rather drab…and black, I spice it up with bright eye shadow or liner and funky shoes! I get to show off my quirky artistic side and still be “office appropriate.”
Big, bold, smokey eyes! Love Drag U and all the queens!
JUST BE YOU THERE IS NOTHING MORE PERFECT THEN OUR TRUE SELVES
I unleash my inner Drag Queen by piling on the jewelery … pearls and crystals and gorgeous glittery things … and making my mouth gorgeous with deep red lipstick.
I have been watching Rupaul for a long time. Can’t wait for Drag U.!! I’m 14 and a young and aspiring drag queen and this makeuip would help so much!
The show is fantastic! Of course, Ru is a marketing genius and I love me some Drag Queens, baby! I’m happy to see the lady boys sharing their makeup skills with the girls!
My inner diva has not been seen by anyone but me right now- but thats to Rupaul and the girls on Dragrace, she may make a public appearence very soon! Thanks for all you do
I feel most Fierce when I do some Burly-Q (Burlesque). I go by the name Betsy Radical and when I get all dolled up in layers of cute cloths and strip down to bare it all, it really makes my day. Its just like stripping with class!
Releasing your inner diva is all about confidence! My drag queen alter ego requires tall heels, long lashes, outrageous hair, and an outfit that turns heads. WORK!
I honestly have no idea how to unleash my Inner Queen. That is why I was hoping watching Drag U and NYX cosmetics will help! I can try to play along at home! Drag U= The home version.
I have wanted to be a drag queen since I was 13 years old. I’m so glad RuPaul showed me that my lack of Y chromosome doesn’t have to prevent me from being as diva-esque as I want. That probably sounds weird, but oh well!
I have had always had short hair and i do Werk it but for a change I LOVE a fab wig! and of course, you must have the proper cosmetics to set it all off!
Anything bold and bright. Super long false lashes and insanely teased hair brings out the inner drag queen in me. It also helps wearing something sexy but not hoochie.
My inner diva, has always been on the outside.. maybe I am 5’9 but in my size 12, 6in heels from t-mart you best believe Im gonna Work! I know it only makes me taller but this diva is above the rest, Im reaching for the stars and I’m shooting for the best.
I absolutely lovedddd the show. Sooo funny! Drag queens make everything better! 🙂
Retweeted!

I love drag queen make up because it’s so fierce! I would love to learn how to do it! Also as a sidenote, I LOVE Ru Paul’s Drag Race! hehe Work it grrrls! 😉
xo

I love bringing out my inner Drag Queen byt putting on a beautiful, tight corset., (After all, who needs to breathe?) a complimenting skirt and heels so high I can reach the stars! The most fun though is putting on my make-up and doing my hair. I feel great in an outfit but without the hair and make-up I feel naked.
How do I unleash my inner drag queen? I draw on my eye brows and wear only the biggest false lashes!
I would have LOVED to be on Drag U! I want a drag makeover! I want makeup tips from the lovely ladies! I have always wanted to be a drag queen, even though I am a girl.
I unleash my inner drag queen right after I get out of the shower, blasting my music and singing along!
I feel dragalicious with lush falsies!
love long dramtic lashes and different looking makeup although sometimes i do like to tone it down a bit
I unleash my inner drag queen by putting on my iPod and lip-syncing to all the great dance hits.
I think Total Eclipse of the Heart is the ultimate karaoke song!!! Unfortunately, many (including myself) can not pull it off….
The way I unleash my inner drag queen is wearing the most outrageous lingerie I could find in my drawer, curling my hair and making it as big as it can get ( you know what they say the bigger the hair the closer to God). Finding my hooker heels and putting on makeup in any color but neutrals. Then I find the strength to look in the mirror and tell myself that I can be pretty.
I love releasing my inner diva by putting on some false eyelashes and high as hell heels after a mini-home spa day. I feel fantastic and like I could take on the world. The only hing better is all that and doing an awesome photo shoot. The camera can always boost my confidence through the roof!
Gurl, I unleash my inner drag queen when I work my strut whe clutching my pearls!
Im turning 30 tommorrow…and I need a lil pick me up LOL
I release my draggy by putting on my fab make up(b/c its all about the make up hunni) getting togther with the girls go to the bar dance with myself like no one else is there cuz im feeling to fierce!
I unleash my inner drag queen everytime I hop out the shower and get ready for my day…..I look into the mirror and remind myself I am the fiercest bitch in the world and nobody can ever change that…I not just talking my outer drag…my inner drag too…
I unleash my inner drag queen by singing out loud in front of the mirror! Oh and by watching RuPaul’s Drag Race of course! (Love, love, love that show!)
by wearing steve madden pumps and strutting down the streets. also by wearing princess lashes and wearing something bold
Loved Drag U last night! Raven is my favorite – can’t get enough of that girl.
I feel like a drag queen. Although I’m a lesbian fattie I love to wear 4″ heels and sexy skirts! I just need the makeup to complete my look! 🙂
Heyyyy! I love nyx eyelashes and glitter!
BY PUTTING ON SOME HEELS AND RUPAUL’S SONG “DON’T BE JEALOUS OF MY BOOGIE ” AND USING MY SEXIEST WALK…THAT’S ALL I NEED TO DO…
What is my favorite Karaoke song? Well, I’d have to say that by far, it would have to be watching my husbear doing “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going!” You see, he’s a big, tall, bald, beefy bear of a man. But when he gets on stage to do this song, he’s as light as a feather, & that gurl queens out!!!!
Love the new show. Would love to be on it. Another chance to be pretty would be nice.
I’d LOVE to have this collection! I’m always doing makeup for all my friends before we go out and bringing out everyone’s inner drag queen haha! ^_^
How do i unleash my inner drag queen?
Simple…Putting on any pair of heel’s immediately empowers me. Whether they’re platforms, stilettos, or your basic pumps. There is something about heel’s that provide grace, dignity, and respect, making me unstoppable.
I release my inner diva by wearing smoky eye shadow and bright lipstick. Love Drag U!!!!!
Ooh, I hope I win because I really want Ru’s book!!!
Love the fabulous queens!
GLT, baby! Glitter, luxury, tenacity and a little bit of what? EXTRAVAGANZA dahlinks
CHAMPAGNE FOR EVERYONE!!
Favorite karaoke song? Got to be “I will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor. There’s nothing better!
I have always thought about doing Drag but have yet to actually do it… until recently. I recently have been going out and buying clothes, shoes, wigs, make-up, and anything else I might need to make myself completely fabulous.
I am working on perfecting my make-up and style, so that some day very soon I can step onto the stage and unleash all that I am.
Have a make-up set like this would be simply amazing, and even if I don’t win this set I think I will go out and buy Ru’s book anyway to see if I can get some great tips from it.
I can’t wait to one day show the entire world my inner diva… who knows, maybe one day you will all see me on a season of RuPaul’s Drag Race!!!
Draggin it up? 2 words: false eyelashes. There is nothing that makes me feel more glamtastic, especially if they have glitter or feathers (!) And, my absolute favorite shoes: dark purple, glitter encrusted 6 in platforms. WORK THAT! 🙂
Raised an awkward, effeminate child in small-town Ohio, drag helped me to embrace the qualities that I was once embarrassed and ashamed of. Over the last 8 years I’ve been honing my inner-DIVA and appearing at Pride events, AIDS fundraisers, and the occasional bar show. More importantly, I’ve lately been sharing my makeup talents with other boys and girls around town to be involved in the same philanthropic extravaganza that I’m inspired by so much. Not only will your NYX makeup package be useful in beating my own fierce face, but will be bringing fabulocity to many more!
And here’s a make-up tip: The eyebrows are two of the most defining characteristics on your face. If you want to exaggerate the arch, three or four layers of Elmer’s purple glue stick and a well-pigmented foundation are an easy way to cover up your real brows and start fresh.
How do I express my inner drag queen. Every morning when I think of my mother while I put on my make up. She passed in 03, but I still remember. When the dreadful acne first appeared she took me and bought me my first tube of concealer. From then it progressed.
Yes, guys who aren’t drag queens do and more should wear make up. I’m 39 and get told I look in my 20’s. It’s funny too b/c my sister will call me about make up tips.
I unleash my inner drag queen with lots of glitter and platform heels!
I am in love with this show!!!! The drag queens are beautiful! The show is funny and entertaining! My favorite song to karaoke to is anything Cher.
I love wearing heels with leggings or tight black pants …makes me feel skinnier and sexier..i used to be in showchoir where we had mounds of make up on and awesome fake eye lashes …we would also have super curly hair and poofs …with all of our makeup it made me feel super sexy and i had the time of my life
I absolutely love the show and have been following our daring and divine RuPaul since her conception onto the scene back in 1993 when she came out with her first song, Supermodel (You Better Work)!!!! That was the same year that I graduated high school and that tag line…You Better Work…literally became the tag line of the world!!!
Good luck everyone and remember…..don’t f*** it up!!!
This show, along with every other one of RuPaul’s shows is divine! I never miss any of them! I have loved Drag since I knew what makeup was. Luckily for me my brother is one of the girls and I can do his makeup whenever I want. I love playing with makeup myself and would love to be in a drag show for other real woman like me.
Good luck to everyone!
Drag queen lashes + karaoking Cher, wearing sky-high heels, now THAT’s a way to spend a Saturday night. Also gotta love the gals at Asia SF!
There’s nothing like getting up and doing full face with fierce heels to bring out my inner drag queen. you only get one chance…dont f— it up!
I love seeing men work fabulous beauty
Proving one’s more of a man than me
putting on heels and a dress
bringing some Drag Goddess realness
a giving some life-saving lip-syncing.
Prior to my becoming a Domestic Engineer, a/k/a a Housewife/mother, I had a drag life back in the Nineties! I was active in the GLBT Community & even helped with putting together a gala for the “house” our friend “Mucha” was the Drag Mother of. This was a fundraiser to help combat HIV/AIDS. And I actually WON “Miss Loose Caboose” & have the trophy to prove it! It was in 2003 at the age of 41 that I married my Prince & had 2 gorgeous little boys in 2005 (age 43) and 2008 (age 46). You see, being a Drag Queen Diva is much more than hair, makeup and wardrobe. It’s about being fierce in attitude and spirit as well. And my husband and sons NEVER let me forget it, nor will they allow me to lose my fierceness! My only regret? That with all the responsibilities of being a wife & mother, I don’t have too much time for me. I would really love to get glammed up & Diva’d out for a magical night with my husband, just enjoying ourselves without our little ones in tow. This makeup package would definitely help me to unleash “Miss Katherine & her loose caboose” again!
When I find myself needing to get in touch with my “inner drag queen” I break out my makeup case. Out come the false eyelashes and my favourite lipstick and lip gloss. I dab on my most expensive perfume in “naughty” places and put on my sexiest nighty and high heeled slippers. Follow this up with a cocktailand a viewing of “To Wong Fu, Thanks For Everything. Julie Newmar”. I have now added episodes of RuPaul’s Drag Race to the viewing experience.
Yes, Miss Honey!
Hello darlin, I just love Ru and all that he do! if it were possible I would dress in drag all of the time but the fact is I can not but if I win this fabulous package then maybe oh just maybe I could then… hmm now that sounds like a wonderful idea…what do you say… pick me and I will be fabulous too! kisses <3<3
Drag queens have always been idols of mine. These fearless performers break down barriers and bring everyone together. I love the ferocity, honesty and joy in all drag queens and try to live my life as bravely and openly as try do.
My favorite karaoke song is Bonnie Tyler “Total Eclipse of the Heart” or Beatles songs 🙂
Retweet @pinklye
I have always loved Drag Queens and the Fabulousness they bring to this world. From the make up and lashes, the uber confidence, charisma, humor, and grace to demanding the spot light. The queens in my life inspire me to be fabulous everyday. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so thank you to all the ladies that share your art with us. Love ya!
The way I live it up Drag Style is bold gittery eye makeup for nights out and parties. The bolder the better ;D sure the fallout can be annoying but the way the light hits it is totally worth it!!!
Where do I start? My “inner drag” starts with 2 words, SMOKEY eye!! A smokey eye looks makes anybody go from drag to FAB! Tease the hair, tan it up, the highest heels you own that make you feel the sexiest! Long thick lashes, who cares if they’re fake, probably as fake as the haters boobs thats hating on you hehe. I’m from a small town so I definitely stand out when I get dolled up but who cares, jealous much? LOVE THE SHOW!!!!!!! <3 Would LOVE this!
How do I unleash my inner drag queen? By letting them have it! Wearing some amazing stilettos and a lot of makeup that speaks to me, and says you are crazy, confident, and beautiful, honey! I apply as much as I can! But one thing that I can’t live out with is my false eyelashes. Eyes are the inner soul of the person, so why not pump it out with AMAZING-NESS! Then go out to the stage and SING…. eer lip-sync my heart out to my favorite song Jealous of My Boogie by the one and only RuPaul. It’s a hilarious and fun song to always karaoke to!
I watch Nina Flowers clips on youtube!!
I release my inner drag queen everytime i do or say something that other’s think i shouldn’t but is true to me, myself, and i.
I unleash my inner drag queen with glitter, glitter, and more glitter.
.-= Amanda’s last blog post… Wishing on Orchids with Caelia =-.
I am only 15 years old, and I live a very complex life. Being trapped with a poor and dysfunctional family is very hard to live with. But I I know life is worth living for the things I love! And one of these things is my dream of becoming a spectacular superstar! I always dance in my room to ridiculous songs pretending perform in front of an audience. And its a blast! I once have even dressed in drag at a friends house, and attempted to remake “Tik Tok” Yeah… It was a complete fail. But the video is hilarious, I laugh every time I watch it. =] If I won this I know I would have a blast with my friends, and make some sort of video-spectacular with the prize. PEACE & LOVE!
-Benjamin
I don’t really unleash my inner drag queen. I do ask myself, when choosing clothes and makeup, what would a real drag queen say if I was wearing it? (Other than, oh honey NO!)
All I own is mascara.
I’m female but my every day make-up is a bit drag queen. I can’t rock the shoes on a regular, though.
fave karaoke song is “american pie”
Last night I lay in a sticky pool of sweat and was deep in a fantasy of going to a church fair all dragged out. My name, Coco Sarong, it would soon be on everyone’s lips. My inner Diva proceeded only by my eyelashes, and hair piled so high on my head would bring me that much closer to God. I am fabulous, if only in my dreams. Now I just need the balls to do it.
great contest and a fun show!
Big hair, flouncy lashes and bold bright lips are sure to bring out my inner D.Q!
How do I unleash my inner drag queen? Turn on some high energy music, and lip sync until I can’t do it no more!!!!
i love tina turner..so i put on my best pumps…some red lipstick and my shimmy shaker cocktail dress and lip sync the hell out of proud mary
I recently lost my job after experiencing hell at my job. I had also lost my self confidence.
For some reason watching RuPaul’s shows has raised my self esteem. To show off the new diva in me I had my eye brows shapped, dyed my hair blonde, am tanning and wearing lipstick. I would like to bring my inner diva out even more.
Have a friend who is an amazing female impersonator and would love to present him with this gift when I see him next. What else do you get a Queen with everything????? Love the show!!!
For as long as I can remember I have always love drag queens from seeing the transformation to the performance. I respect the art, the lifestyle and the history. I love the glamor and glitz. In order to be a drag queen, you have to have the determination and the drive cause you are stepping into a lifestyle that is not widely accepted.
I love RuPaul! Can’t wait to see these diva’s working it!
how do i unleash my inner drag queen? girl, i channel beyonce! i love over the top hair, lush eyelashes, bright makeup, extra high heels and the perfect outfit 🙂 aow! *finger snap
I unleash it during drag shows at our local gay bar! I let my “girls” hang out and shake what my mamma gave me…with the attitude to match!
I am the glitter queen. If something is sparkly, I wear it. I even have 3 pairs of sequined sneakers to make sure that even when I’m casual, I’m fabulous!
I just LOVE me some lady-boys!!
I LOVE RU PAUL!!!!!!
I unleash my inner drag queen when I hear some fierce beats like RuPaul, Adam Lambert or Lady Gaga ♥
I first started watching your show (Drag Race) when I went on a trip to NY this summer. Around were I live, there’s nothing on TV that has anything to do with anything that’s LGBT related. I love the show so much. Love you all!
The number one way to unleash your inner drag star…TONS OF GLITTER and a SMILE!

I love this show. I LOVE RUPAUL. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT HER. LOL. I UNLEASH MY INNER DRAG BY WEARING GLITTER AND DANCING TO MADONNA! I LOVE IT
How do I unleash my inner Drag Queen? I put on my 5 inch heels and dance around while singing! Who doesn’t love feeling sexy and fabulous in a pair of heels?? Those bitches are gorgeous – makes me jealous! ; ) Can’t WAIT to see Pandora on Drag U!
My inner diva is way outer!! I relish my femininity and adore pretty clothes and make up. Every woman (whatever the plumbing) is a drag queen at heart!
I express my inner drag queen by trying crazy make up fashions.
I unleash my inner queen by lipsyncing to Ru, dancing and simultaneously putting on some FIERCE makeup! Yes honey! A bunch of glitter, sequins, heels, a fierce wig and lashes help too!
I’m gonna snatch your wig, and throw some Shade gurl!
I’ll put a heel in your eye if you do!!!
I eat glitter in my cereal for breakfast. 😉
I unleash my inner drag by listening to CHER. I love Turn Back Time and when I am out at bars, I usually request that song and then hop on the stage (or make my own) and I perform it. It’s an awesome song by one of the greatest entertainers of all time!!!!!
How do I unleash my inner drag queen? By putting on ALL of my MAC makeup. Walking around in 5 inch, peep toed, slingback platform pumps, whip out that afro wig, and lip synch to of course RUPAUL!
To unleash my inner drag queen when I wear one of my t-shirts from Flirtatious-T. The t-shirt that does the flirting for me.
How do I unleash my inner drag queen? I do my hair and make-up, choose my hottest outfit, and hit the town. You better work!
my inner drag queen comes out from my soul like confetti to a celebration! It pops it spreads it glitters and lets everyone know that now is the time for everybody to party!! I believe you gotta work it out and walk that walk. Because no one aint gonna get it except me. I am FIERCE I am FABULOUS and I am ME. LOVE IT LOVE ALL OF IT! TRUST!!
Sooo looking forward to watching Drag U
I let my inner drag queen out by wearing heels everywhere, and practicing my walk on them like a maniac. And my favorite karaoke song is… “All That Jazz” (The Catherine Zeta-Jones version) because that’s how I roll. *snaps*
i live for drag queens! ive been a tomboy most of my life, but ive also been surrounded by queens since i was 6 years old and if it werent for my brother and his friends i probably wouldnt know how to put on fierce makeup, walk in heels and vogue like a ninja to this day!
I do it by putting on my five inch heels that I rarely wear, putting on some “Priscilla, Queen of the Desert” and dancing my heart out. <3
How do I unleash MY inner drag? As a young and upcoming drag superstar, I am starting my collection of wigs, dresses, heels, and makeup. Moreover, I strut around my room practicing my lip syncing and dancing for the big stages of Texas. With the help of my Drag Aunt, I will be big. Nothing less than success. I always keep it fishy, cute, and dramatic! That’s me. That’s Hu’Nee B!
I unleash my inner drag queen by letting my inner diva grace the stage all around dayton clubs 🙂
I love the feeling once the face is painted, the body is on, dress zipped, heels, gems, and hair. I give myself one last look (of the moment) and out the door I go. My inner self is ready for night.
I unleash my inner Diva by taking some me time in a nice, long, hot bath… then after I’ve relaxed I can take my time doing my makeup making sure all’s covered and looking fierce!!
Lashes, Rouge, and Lips! Paint it up and watch ’em melt. What queen wouldn’t love bold makeup? Remember…CoverGirl doesn’t cover boys!
i love this show and make up
its the best thing for drag queens
Raven, JuJu and the rest are so HOT! Great self confidence and excellent make up tips! I need be on DragU! 🙂
I tell my mom I should have been born a boy just so I could grow up to be a drag queen. I want to be fierce!
I unleash by inner drag queen by incorporating lots of color in my eye make-up and taking the special time to highlight and shade in different parts of my face make-up too. I will wear lots of really catchy accessories and maybe add a colorful flower to my hair to give me that extra pow. I also make sure I get myself ready by listening/singing to Cyndi Lauper songs too! The finishing touch to my inner drag look, wearing metallic high heels and/or sandals to give me that glimmer too!
I’m still working on my inner drag, but it definitely comes out with explosive and /fabulous/ results once I begin applying my creativity via face (make up!), attire, and attitude!
‘LOVE’
I have done drag for many years but of late have been in a sort of Retirement. I am ready to come back fierce and as you can see by the stage name I have had for over 15years I would represent NYX cosmetics very well and am ready to get my fierce back on.
i wanna release my inner drag get all made up all sexy
I unleash my inner queen by thinking how Rupaul paved the way for girls like me and throw on some dance tunes and start painting for the back row! Long live Maya Tack!
Im learning to bring out the drag queen out , slowly but surely 😉
i realeased my inner DRAG when I used to watch my mom get ready to go out. i loved they way she did her makeup. it was a little ritual. she moisturized, then her concealer then makeup. It was so fun watching her transform into a sexy person!
I love drag u. too much fun. my inner drag queen has been silent for a long time. no idea if I can get her out or not.
.-= buttercup’s last blog post… Whats so funny bout peace- love- and little donuts =-.
Bold smoky eyes, nude lips and big hair.
Nothing says DIVA like lip syncing (for your life!) to the always fabulous Tina Turner (Better Be Good to Me is my fave) showing off some killer leg in some Do Me pumps with puckered pouty lips. Unlease the fierce queen in us all!!!!!
Absolutely love the show and the ladies. All have inspired me to look my best cuz if these gorgous ladies can so can I.
i work my own inner woman by actually transitioning to being a man. i’m more feminine identifying as a guy now, more than i ever did as a tomboy.
i’ve come to terms that you don’t need to be male to be masculine or female to b feminine. how you act is who you are and you don’t need to fit into a stereotyped mold.
i work it more now as a drag king then i ever did as a performer in HS. all i know is you gotta be you. as Ru says “you better work!”
I have no inner drag queen. She’s always on the outside.
I unleash my inner QUEEN by making anything I wear look good……. try that u bitches……lol…
I love the show! I just wish I was a tomboy and not a drag wanna be diva so I could be on the show!!!
Love me some NYX glitter cream!
My favorite Karaoke song….I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL!!!
With so much sadness in the world to date. Invoking the attitude of the Drag Queen is necessary. It unleashes a freedom and a sense of worth for me personally.
Expression is very important to me. The more glam the hotter in my opinion. Suffice, to say I admire any man or woman that isn’t afraid to bring out the best in there appearance no matter what. You’ve got to work the runway and be fierce honey no matter what your stature in life is!
Rupaul has been a big influence in my life since the early 90’s. What an amazing Scorpion, soul that teaches us pure love and emplacement of diversity.
Namaste,
Kimberly J. Owen
im 25 love to do drag did a couple times for halloween and won a couple contest the make up is so expensive the more u need more u buy i love to meet rupaul and win the make up or her book she set the stage for all the younger drag queens and glbt to be who they are and for people to except us thanks ru your shows rock u are awesome CAN I GET A AMEN !!!
My inner drag queen comes from my love and exuberance for life, and my love of hair and make up.
i unleash my inner queen by listening to martha wash and rupauls classic…supermodel song when painting my face 🙂
How do I unleash my inner drag queen? I drink my favorite drink, and the inspiration for my drag name – mimosas! I had originally meant to take the name Cristal (like the champagne) until a dear friend set me straight, saying (and I quote): “Cristal? Shiiit gurl, you ain’t classy enough for Cristal. You’re more like a mimosa.” Then and there I knew I should embrace it, and become Mimi Mosa!
Ru.
When I dress up as Linga Couche… Ii is hard to be a disabled Drag Queen, but I just sing “Don’t Be Jealous of My Boggie” and think of you and all that pain goes away honey!
why do i need some drag worthy make up? to get ready for my birthday where i plan to show my diva self in full drag for the first time. and my favorite karaoke song girls just wanna have fun my theme song for my summer any year 🙂 there is no such thing as my inner diva because my diva is always out and shinning bright. diva is who i am not something i occasionally take out
I unleash my inner drag queen, with a superfragilistic weave/wig flowing w/shiny black deep waves, lashes so big u can barely see my eyes. enuf eyeshadow to paint the outside of my house. lipstick so glossy i blind all the boys when the sun reflects off of these lovely cock suckers (dont blush!) an outfit fresh off a paris runway, heels so tall i have to duck to enter my house….ahhh yes, my inner drag queen goes by the name of Gumdrop Plum, and baby girl I am FIERCE!!! 2snaps baby…
I unleash my inner queen by making sure my makeup is on point every night I go out in Drag, by making sure I’m as FIERCE as I can be.
Love the show and would love to win!
I love to do karaoke to Covergirl by RuPaul!! I love dressing in drag! 😀
I want to unleash my inner Drag Queen for an upcomming audition I have at the first of the year, I have never done drag before, and I have been working really hard to perfect the look, have several great dresses, the wig, and some of the make up, but really, really need more. Damn its expensive…LOL!
I unleash my inner drag queen by doing dramatic eye makeup and using lots of glitter! ;D
How do I unleash my inner drag queen? I bust out the iPod and go 80s diva crazy!
I rehearse my drag queen at the DQ, Baby!
My inner draq queen comes out when I actually put on my face for a drag show!!
I love DragU it is such a great an idea of encouragement to women. My favorite karaoke song is “I touch myself”.
I unleash my inner drag queen by going to the night club in high heels, fierce make up and plunging neck line drinking my cocktails and flirting with every hot guy in sight.
My friend and I unleash our inner drag queens by lip synching Lady Gaga while performing choreographed dances!
No, im not a man, but im what they call a drag-hag! :o) My friends are all drag queens and 2 drag kings. I love them all and they inspire me. For being who they are and being proud of it……it just blows my mind! Im a proud fem lez and im grateful for having them in my life and you can never go wrong with the drag queens hunny! TRUST!
Favorite Karaoke Song would have to be ‘Bye, Bye, Bye’ by NSYNC.
I unleash my inner drag queen with BIG, dramatic eyes. I LOVE different colors of shadow and I try to coordinate the colors to my ensemble.
Aloha everyone! I live to entertain and being a drag queen allows me to do just that. I love being on stage and performing and watching the audience light up with such interest and awe. I love over the top hair, fabulous costumes, and mug for the gods. I’ve been approached a few times after shows by people who felt inspired to try drag. I couldn’t be more happier! I love to unleash my inner drag queen because hopefully it will trigger some one else’s inner drag queen and the circle of life continues on. Stay fabulous everybody!
I love RuPaul! Wish I could be as fierce as that bitch!
i’ve never ben able to release my inner diva….i’m a mommy to a 3 year old diva, and a 12 week old momma’s boy. it would be really nice to win so i could try to go from worn-out to WORKIN IT!!!
Love me some Drag U!
.-= Micael’s last blog post… Re-Verse per Request =-.
My favorite karaoke song would have to be Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics! It has to be one of the best songs to sing along with!
My favorite karaoke song is “Don’t Be Jealous Of My Boogie” by the fabulous RuPaul of course. I even try to incorporate the phrase into my everyday life!
I unleash my inner drag queen but putting on my 5 inch super high heels and strutting around my office in them about once a month! It gives me the killer confidence I need to ask for the raise or to tell a coworker something that’s on my mind! I put on those shoes and I work the hallways like they were runways.
I unleash my inner drag queen when I put on my warpaint (smoky black eyeliner and dramatic lips, FTW), and crank some old Dee-lite or Cheryl Lynn’s “Got to Be Real”. If that doesn’t make a girl feel fierce, I don’t know what will.
.-= Jenn K’s last blog post… jetbaby- is kind of in love with her new stachetastic app http-tweetreelcom-qjyj3 =-.
I don’t get to do it very often–all work and no play these days, I fear. I am an old school gal, far more Mae West than Beyonce or any of these newer divas. But on the very rare occasion that I have a chance to channel my inner drag queen I do it by actually wearing makeup for a change, actually doing my hair instead of just pulling it back in a pony tail, and wearing clothes that make me feel classy yet sassy. Then I channel Mae West and have a good time!
Favorite karaoke song: Just Like a Prayer… gotta love Madonna!
It’s all about glam AND style. Glam is whats out there and style comes from the inside. Hence the diversity of drag.
I am a 4’11” jewish girl, but honey, when I wear fierce makeup and heels, I am so dragworthy.
I watched Drag U last night and absolutely LOVED it!! So nice to see regular, average, everyday girls look so FIERCE!!
I put on my orange wig and apply my Nyx cosmestics. Then I’m good to glow!
As a drag queen just starting I look up to the ones that have more experience I listen to what they have to say and what and not what to say when in drag. I put my character out there and have fun cause at the end of the day thats whats it about anyway
I unleash my inner drag queen with a smile I learned from Ru!
I loved Drag U last night thought it was fabulous. I love makeup but have a baby now so buying make up is not a top priority right now… im so glad Ru did a show like this there are so many tomboys who are well actually grown ass women who need to be able to see their inner Queen!
To unleash my inner drag queen I dress to the nines when going out to the club. I also dress up and take pictures with my friends for fun. We use fake eyelashes, rinestones and wigs. Also, when going to Karaoke, I like to sing attitude filled songs and let it all go! I dance like no one is looking but I know there’s at least one who does.
I love make-up. The more vibrant the better. I love the WOW! factor of doing something spectacular for special occassions. There’s nothing like getting dolled up and turning heads.
Girl, I don’t have to UNLEASH my inner drag diva, I gots to hold her DOWN! After I slap some face paint on, get myself all trussed up and swathed in sequins, get my hair on, and finally step into those 7″ platform heels Seida is ready for the world! (But is the world ready for Seida?)
.-= Seida Bacon’s last blog post… Good As You Pro-Keds Lo-Tops =-.
I don’t care about the contest I just love U RU OMG – How in the afterlife can we do it
Love the ladies of Drag Race and Drag U. My makeup gets better with every episode!
My karaoke song of choice is usually Celebrity Skin. I have some trouble releasing my inner Drag queen. But being bold and wearing bold makeup/costumes is all about being the most fabulous version of yourself and I love it.
easiest way to unleash your inner drag queen? fake lashes, bold make up, sleek hair, killer accessories, and most importantly CONFIDENCE! it doesn’t matter what you wear, hot dress or jeans and t shirt, you will be the star of the show!
I unleash my inner drag queen by playn some Madonna /Wheres the party .. Or any other Madonna songs…. Rock some Nine inch stalletos and do a back flip ..land of coarse on my feet and *Bam* you have me with some fierce ass lashes with a deep color of mascara along with some great eye shadow to follow .. got to have color – I hate drab) and I’m rockn with a vintage skirt with some cute top to match… Get it girl . She betta … Work 😉
How do I unleash my inner drag queen? I glue down my brows, throw on a face and wig and hit it! She’s in all of us somewhere! 🙂
Ahh….a drag queen saved my life! I felt like a total victim. I thought I would need to runaway from my fiance in the middle of the night. And then I saw my first drag show, and Ruth Ellen Dix. such power! I knew I needed to pull up my panty hose and stand up for myself. Not too long after, I went out the door by light of day, with all my stuff. Now, I honor my inner drag queen by remembering in bad times to slap on a little lipstick and I’ll be fine.
Cat eyes and red lipstick <3 My high waisted skirt button up blouse with my white or red pumps <3 aww to be a queen 🙂
Every time I’m feeling tired at my job, I imagine myself all dragged out saying to myself, “You better work! or Werk it, girl!” and then I’m all energized again, motivated to do my best.
I let my inner drag queen shine while listening to Enrique Iglesias, singing at the top of my lungs, all while teasing my hair and applying too much rouge. Oh, and if your feet don’t hurt your heels aren’t tall enough. I learned that from Raven while watching DragU yesterday! :o)
I think your fabouls , and you have inspired me to be who I really am, thank you
I RELEASE MY INNER DRAGQUEEN BY MAKING UP NEW AND FABULOUS DRAG NAMES FOR MY SELF AND FRIENDS WHEN EVER WE GO DANCING, SOME OF THEM HAVE BEEN – JUSTINE SYDE, JAMAICA MEYOTT, SHIRLY MANN AND NUMEROUS OTHER OF THE SORT! IT REALLY GIVES A MOTIVATION TO MOVE ! =o)
I grew up in Las Vegas and a family friend used to be the head seamstress for the Folies Bergere at the Tropicana. She introduced us to so many people but the most fascinating people I ever met were Kenny Kerr and the girls at La Cage! They were beautiful and I always wanted to look that beautiful.
So now when I want to work it, I put on my most dazzling outfit, my most dramatic makeup and show them true royalty!
It’s all about the bold lips for me!
I love this show..shows me how to embrace the inner diva inside us all!!!
I do it by having my hairdresser re-create RuPauls hair.
I’m a mom of three – I unleash by taking the time to do it up! If a queen can be arsed to take the time, so can I! Big shoes (none of my heels are under 4″), maybe some glitter, big runway make up and we’re off to the food store!
.-= Jenn’s last blog post… Nina Flowers =-.
Oh my god…If i could win this I would so do some drag…Yep Yep..always wanted to…
How to release the inner Drag Queen in you. Speaking as one that gained my power from becoming a comedy queen back in my teenage years, I took my pain and turned it into comedy. That set me on a course to gain control of my life and stop being a victim, but I gained the real power by forgiving myself, for all that I allowed others to do to me. Forgive yourself and then you have absolute power and control of your own life. You are then. a true Diva and a true Queen.
I unleash my inner drag watching back2back RPDR and trying to imitate the fab makeup! even got out with it just to hear people saying “is she crazy” but knowing they are thinking “I wish I could rock that look” LoL
.-= Roxanne’s last blog post… black & red challenge @ MakeupGeek =-.
I unleash the inner drag queen by painting my face like a Japanese sunset with NYX cosmetics, obtaining a flawless finish with NYX’s eye markers, and body glitter. Beautiful and flawless is what I feel and it gives me the confidence to werk it……snap….lol
I need me some dragalicious makeup so I give even more fabulous makeovers to my favorite queens in training and to emulate my favorite diva RuPaul. Hell to the yeah!
Sometimes I find my life so challenging that it’s hard to get out of bed. On those days, I borrow a little of Raven’s poise and strength and JuJuBee’s humor just to have enough to hold my head high through another day. By borrowing a little of the inner strength I’ve seen in them, I feel fierce enough to handle everything that comes my way!
I moved to where the dramatic is accepted….Portland, OR! Living in the South, people have a certain mindset and I couldn’t wear but brown eyeshadow to avoid ridicule. Now I’m free to be as colorful as I like to be! Bold colors arethe way to go and NYX knows what I mean! Their color collection is amazing and the price is perfection! RuPaul’s divas have opened the world to amazing makeup techniques and color. Love it all…the show…the makeup…and of course the ladies are fierce!
I can’t watch live – we dont’ get LogoTV. Argh! Will have to watch on line, same way I watch Drag Race.
I can not wait to see what Pandora Box does when it’s time for her to transform her diva! I have GOT to find a way to release my own inner drag queen. Hello! My name is Taffy (first pet’s name) Doumont (mother’s maiden name)!!!
My favorite karaoke song is by far “I Will Survive.” Gloria Gaynor is the ultimate diva (next to Rupaul of course.) It’s always good for blowing off a little steam and helps me to channel my own inner diva.
I love cookies!
How do I rock my inner drag queen? Three words; steel boned corset.
Loved the show. Can’t wait for episode 2. =D
How do I unleash my inner drag queen? Well, honey, first of all I don’t get the oppurtunity to dress in drag very often, but when I do,I like to go all the way! From wonderful wigs to fierce footwear and everything in between. I usually go for the “real girl” look instead of the flamboyant or campy drag queen look. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. I like to top it off my look with glamorous lashes and shimmery eyeshadow, bold, chunky jewelry and let’s not forget french manicure press-on nails for that sexy, womanly look!
Transforming from a he to a she is not the easiest thing! However my inner drag queen is unleashed when I am all done with this transformation! From the extravagant make-up, to the hair and the oufit followed by stilletos, making yourself a beat woman is the trick! Having right tools is a must though; therefore NYX cosmetics provides exactly what a Draq Queen needs! I love it!!!!
I am so excited to see Ru and all the girls again! OMG they all look so fiercly amazing! Hope you all cum to Oregon soon. I bring out my inner drag queen by wearing my 5 inch platform heels.(I’m 5’10 already)! A short skirt and own it wherever I go and if there is no party I make it! I need to learn the false eyelashes so great!
I feel like a powerful sausage!
I’ve always thought I was born in the wrong body… I’m a gay man trapped in a girl’s body. If I were a man, I would be a fierce drag-queen (probably RuPaul’s Next Drag Superstar).
Make-up (and at times a hairbrush & some Tina Turner) is the only thing I have that comes at least a bit close to being a Drag Queen… whiiiiich would have been my dream job. But you know. No need for tucking = not cool enough.
Anyways. I want this make-up. Thank youuuuu! 😀
I unleash my inner drag by indulging in a good mani/pedi/plucking and putting on my most fabulous outfit all the while I’m prancing like Miss Tyra darling!!!!
I feel so trapped! I am 33 years old and I am a librarian at an elementary school! I have all these daydreams about being famous, having my picture taken , walking the red carpet, being dresed up in a fab dress with the hottest make-up look on. But then I realize that the bell rings, and thus beings my day of telling stories about fairy tale princesses being carried away by the dashing knight in shining armor. Sigh, if only I had the guts to take off my glasses and call out to my fairy godmother, “I am ready! I want to go to the ball! Help me!”. I guess that is my dream, I want to be this Diva, I want to feel her and I want to be unleashed!
This stuff is to die for! All the essentials a boy needs…^_^…
I unleash my inner drag queen with lots of fierce make-up, loads of drama and my sassy attitude.
I do it by wearing me some fierce eyeshadows, bright blue eyeliner and some crazy bright lipstick. As a 5’10” woman, that’s quite a sight!
false lashes, and just a liiiiiiiiiiiitlle too much makeup, coupled with super high heels and some toe cleavage = inner drag queen!! 🙂
When I was 16, I went to a drag club where I was confused for a drag queen because of my great make-up job. I relish the memory to this day.
I love all the makeup and eyelashes and heels love to dress drag soooo much fun !!!!!!
Oh my goodness saw this giveaway and couldn’t help myself not only do I love Nyx cosmetics but I love watching Ru and the girls it inspires me to be a better woman and realize my inner beauty as well as my outer beauty. Can’t wait until a new season starts. Keep it up girls!!
By dropping it sick nasty girl!
I Love Rupaul’s Drag Race. I also love Nyx’s eye pencils ESP milk. I don’t leave home without it It’s a great base for everything.
I released my inner drag queen a few years ago by dressing up as one for Halloween (I’m female), and going to a festival, having my male friend stand behind me and say hello while I mouthed the words to mess with the little kids
I LOVE bold, drag queen-worthy makeup because its an essence of A Type Of Woman I want to be in every bottle- Be it in a form of:: ‘Cat house’ shade of red lipstick, the ‘white witch’s’ magic wand of mascara or in a case of ‘like a virgin’ blush. Be Beautiful to yourself!
Clara of To Wong Foo says it best “Nothin’ this pretty could be real.”
I feel very wonderful when I belt out the song “Angels” by Jessica Simpson It is my all time favorite karaoke song to sing!!! And I am Absolutely Fabulous when singing it!!!! 🙂
I love putting on my heels curling all my hair and doing a super Smokey sexy eye with the sexyest pink nude lip and a dress to hug every curve thats how I let out my inner drag queen
It’s all about the eye makeup for me-lashes, liner, brows, oh my!
I love bold drag queen makeup in bright colors because it’s a fun way to be creative and add color to your outfit! It always makes people do a double take.
by pumping up Ru’s album!!!! <3
i just unleashed my inner drag this past sunday looking like lady gaga. need more make-up to create my next look. so love the show.
I don’t have an inner diva. I AM A DIVA!!!
Love youselves bitches!! Can I get an amen up in HERE!!!!! 🙂
I would love to bring out my inner queen! Lately I have not felt like it because I am still trying to lose the baby weight! I need the confidence so I can get out there again and sing my favorite 80’s and 90’s Madonna songs (i.e Material Girl and Like a Prayer) with flair at karaoke!!
When ever I have have a bad day, I know there are 6 inch waiting for me at home! I put I pair of platform high heels on and I instantly feel better.
I unleash my inner drag beauty by, slipping on my white stillettos, while listen to my cleaning music, such as Pink, Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion and of course some Rupaul, and dance dance dance and sweet my boogie off.
I love when Drag Queens ask me for makeup tips! As if I know what I’m doing lol
I like to unleash my inner drag queen by putting on some fierce make-up, a tight outfit to show of my girlish figure, and some shoes that make my legs look dayum good! WERK!
I release my inner drag queen with super high heels (I’ve sprained my ankles way too many times), big hair and big lashes. Now that I’m hooked on RuPaul’s Drag Race, I have a whole new arsenal of hooker looker clothes. You better work it!!!
drag queens are FIERCE and inspiring!
To unleash my queen I choose to be myself against all odds and learn to love myself and others.
.-= BandonRandon’s last blog post… Little Things =-.
Oh i hope I will win! It would be great.
Haaaay, I LOVE the girls from the show! I wish I knew how to put on my make up like them. They always look fierce and fabulous. I am constantly thinking I need new make up and a new look. I think the show will give me the confidence to try new and bold things! Thanks ladies!! 😉
How do I unleash my inner drag queen? Let my hair have a glamorous life of its own, decorate my peepers until I know they can catch every eye in whatever room I encounter, and make sure my clothes are fantastically creative and embrace without embarrassing.
It took strong, independent women to make me a woman, but it took beautiful men in dresses to make me a lady.
I unleash MY inner drag queen by dressing fabulously and taking care of myself every day. I never leave the house without enormous, eye-catching hair and a pair of super-fierce pumps. I love NYX cosmetics especially because they’re great for all-day wear and creating a signature look that’s all your own! I usually look like a cross between Dita von Teese and Elvira, which is just the way I like it! My favorite karaoke song is Kate Bush’s “Wuthering Heights”, and it MUST be done with the hand motions! I am a fabulous diva because I make sure to pamper myself every day. After all, life is short, and you can only live and love for yourself. Loving yourself is the key to spreading love around the whole world, and isn’t that what we want? A little love goes a long, long way.
inner drag queen is having to put on a splash of mascara hint of pink lipstick, rat my hair on top, purse my lips like RU does and put on my longest gown with GOLD high heels and parade to the mailbox just like that!
I let my inner drag queen out by thoroughly reveling in owning and wearing the sparkliest, biggest, blingingest, most colorful costume jewelry I can find. All at the same time!
Hello Ladys and Lady Boys AND ALL QUEEN BEES!
I release my inner Drag Queen by first taking care of myself, health and mental health by working on my fitness and eating right and doing the yearly doc vists. Then when it comes to the fashion I’m about big hair !because I’m short and flattering makeup I love my matted red lipstick. My favorite colors are green, orange and browns, nothing to bronze it will blah me out.My favorite Karoke song is “Erotic City” by Prince, because its just a feel good song and for some reason you just get myself and the people going with it..I did that song for the first time with my friends horibble date lol, and he was just not into to so after hearing him sing princes part, I started to sing prince and the females part in the song. I told him on the mic”Boy, you are giving prince’s song a early funeral So I got this!” So I was dancing and going along with the song….but I know the song all ready due to singing it to myself every morning on the way to work :)…So I guess you can say my INNER Drag and Diva came out that Night. 🙂
Love and Respect
Freteshia.G
I unleash my inner drag queen with my 4 in eyelashes, rainbow glitter eye makeup, 22 in curly wig, colorful mini dress, and 6-in ankle boots. Top it off by lip syncing for my life to Lady Gaga. How else would I get wild with a name like Orri Ooh? Let ’em loose girls and you betta werk!
AS a retired cosmetologist, who grew up in South MS and partied in New Orleans for years…I first fell in love with Drag Queens when I was 15 and met Chris Owens in N.O.L.A.
There is NOTHING more fun and spirit lifting for me than dressing to the QUEENS and hitting the town…let them stare..they are only jealous anyway! The only more FUN is dress in drag and go out with your cross dressing man! What a nite!
I am divalicious everyday. I love to wear make-up because it makes me feel bright and I love the way people look at me when I do wear it. I like the complete look but I’ve been working hard to perfect my eyebrows and eye shawdow. I’m still working on that smokey eye but it doesn’t stop me from serveing in up something fierce girl fierce.
I am only myself.. make life worthwhile while making it WERK!!!
I love makeup. I love drag queens. What could be better?
I love RuPaul, ever since To Wong Foo. I hope by watching Drag U, this straight girl can get some makeup tips.
I have had self esteem issues all my life when I found out about RuPaul it gave me hope that I can be a beautiful girl, unfortunately I dont have the money to buy the things that I want to enhance my beauty and to bring out my inner diva!!
I would love to unleash my inner drag queen! I am a mom and student on a super budget, so it’s really hard. If I manage to get my $0.98 eyeliner and some chapstick, I’m doing good! All the queens look so beautiful. They make me feel like less of a woman, and I’m the only one with a real vagina! J/K!
I love drag queens…..I brought out my inner drag queen , when I was going through chemo during my breast cancer treatment. Every 28 day s, I would go into treatment with 4 inch heels, face beat, outfits fierce and a funky hat! I came in with ATTITUDE baby! I gave Cancer shade! baby, cause I aint the one….STEPPING baby steppping!
Girl, you gotta LIVE like a drag queen. Be indomitable. Do what you want. Sing and dance and do what makes you happy. That’s all. And always be outrageously fabulous. Courage and sass. And never feel like you’re anything less than the sexiest thing on the planet. Drag is the new flapper. We needed something to fill that eighty year lull.
I release my inner drag queen my sporting my dirty blonde extensions – that I have to curl daily to match my curly hair (I mistakenly bought ones that were too straight!)… I also love to dress up my blue eyes with my “Last Call” eyeshadow and fake lashes! I also own a variety of wigs that I like to wear on nights out when I don’t feel like doing my own hair, or looking for a change 🙂
I’m a true Diva and always will be, everyone has a Diva inside of them. Just have to stay true to yourself keep the faith and keep the inside and out shinning always . Always Love yourself and express yourself with style.
I release my inner diva by waking up every morning to “Jealous of My Boogie” by RuPaul!
Hey! I absolutely love your show! First, and foremost I must quote ‘The Futurist Manifesto’ by F.T Martinetti “Beauty exists only in struggle”. This is my new mantra, since I’ve been living in a woman’s shelter for the past 3 months. I am currently trying to start up my business ‘ get trashed inc.’ With little to no $, but have the full support of the staff and other residents in the facility. My company takes used or would be harmful to enviroment products such as grocery bags and turns them into handbags, messenger bags, back-packs, and light bulbs into flower/bud vases. Basically, anything that wil never biodegrate in a landfill, and turning it into something useful/functional and beautiful. While I am looking for investors for my projects, I want nothing more to look like a professional and furthermore, a lady. That’s where you fantastic ladies come in. I’m doing everything I can to get my children and myself out of this situation and make this stay here something positive. I also moonlight as a comedian, so being fabulous on stage with all those dingy classless boys is a must! Keep werkin’! I know I am! Jack kerouac said, “be yourself, at whatever cost.” I admire every one of your contestants, just for that reason. Cheers! Sara
To release my inner drag queen, put on a wig, a pair of four inch heels and pop open a bottle of cheap liquor… and I lip synch my heart out to all the classics!!!
I love makeup and would love to be a student in your next Drag U! Lot’s of makeup, big hair, long nails and those sexy outfits.
I unleash my inner drag queen once a year in the desert, when the sun rises on a Sunday morning. kind of like a cactus flower that only shows itself once. 😉
I start with the padding, forms, clothes, shoes and accessories to get in the mood. Then sit down with my makeup box, and let my creativity flow. Then put on the wig,and Kara is here, ready to take on the world! Finally, kick back and enjoy RuPaul’s Drag U 🙂

I love to cake on the makeup nicely though..smoky eyes pouty lips long flirty eyelashes..with a drop dead gorgeous outfit.
I’d have to say that my favorite karaoke song is “Stay With me Tonight” by Jeffrey Osborne. The grinding beats and smooth & sexy lyrics make this song a hit at every party!
Me me me!!!!
I unleash my inner drag queen by first meditating using my ode to Pandora Boxx altar, which is pasted with multitude of colored glitter and gold coin condoms. I then light an incense of black polyester cat suit material doused in brand new dollar store perfume (nothing but the best, hunny) and listen to a little Grace Jones. After sufficiently emulating my goddess, I then change the music to a little Madonna & Cindi Lauper medley while I slip into my hip pads, duct tapable tighty whities and 6 layers of panty hose. I can then start whipping up my face and let it cook while putting on my pointy bra and garter outfit. Blend and top it all off with a chef’s hat so I can then complete my Swedish Chef impression onstage, after answering the phone where some crazy lady is telling me she’s going to kill me for wearing white shoes after labor day! Another fun night dancing in the parking lot!
Love Rupaul, love ALL queens, and love NYX! <3 <3 <3
I absolutely adore RuPaul! <3
I release my inner drag by singing youtube karaoke versions of songs EVERYDAY.
Oh honey, baby’s gotta shine so bright you gonna get burnt! I got a Faux Drag lady who I’m serenading dressed like Nicki Minaj in a Vivian Westwood circa 1980s gown, while lip syncing Missy Elliott’s “Toyz.” I need the best make up for this seduction.
A drag queen saved my life.
My biological father walked out on my mother and I when I was only a few months old, then suddenly a purple haired, 17 year old, gay man came into my life and has never left, my Daddy. My Daddy was a Queen.
I’ve been surrounded by stunning Queens my whole life. They’ve taught me more than my Mother ever did about being a women. How to walk in heels, how to tease my hair, and how to work it on stage. Aquanet! Aquanet! Aquanet!
There’s nothing like having an army of Queens back you up, I have the greatest family ever.
(My Dad likes to call them “the falsettos”)
Without him, and all the other Queens that raised me I would have been another Fatherless kid, a mousey girl with no self esteem, horrible posture, bad skin and bushy eyebrows.
I unleash my inner Queen everyday, I don’t know any other way to live.
I am LOVING Drag U. It’s pretty much the most fabulous thing I’ve ever seen. Can’t wait for the rest of the season!
I don’t know that my inner drag queen is as inside as she should be. As a beloved fruit fly (female that keeps the company of gay males with no desire to sleep with them. Get it right, different than fag hags), there’s a running joke about my past drag life. I love over the top and people that have the balls to do it. It’s brave to be outside the box in a forward thinking way. I like to think I’m one of those people. I always take time and consideration with a look not just a piece. If the face is right but the confidence isn’t, it’s not on point. Even if you don’t have the confidence that day, no one else has to know. T’werk it out.
Love a dramatic look. Ru inspires us all to be our gorgeous bests!
I have been unleashing my inner drag diva, ever since I was knee high to a grass hopper. I would put on my sisters Sunday school dress and twirl around, and around to make the dress flare up. My mom would hide that damn dress from me, but I always found it.
I love to just jack my wigs all the way to Jesus, put on some heels, and just dance my ass off in my underwear in front of the mirror. Drag and music make my soul become alive, like electric. When I put on my face, and use make-up to create Bianca, my world and everything makes perfect sense. Bianca is my super hero…..! My favorite song to do is “Private Dancer, by Tina Turnerâ€. I am my own private dancer, and I work my shit. I am my own fabulous creation.
When I am almost ready, the hair is done, the makeup is flawless, the jewels are sparkling, and the clothes are steps above the rest…it’s not done! The perfume. To feel the liquid on my skin and the scent which everyone knows me by and makes me feel young, bold, flamboyant, sophisticated, and beautiful! That the untilmate diva moment. The precise time I know I am all that and cannot be outdone. It only takes the scent of Dior’s Poison to make me feel 1,000 different positive things. And gracing the party scene without it, would be like showing up in work clothes and flips flops!
I love Ru Pauls Drag Race and have just began watching Drag U. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT
How do I unleash my inner drag queen?
I unleash my inner drag queen by putting on a big curly wig, beating my face with some fierce makeup and throwing on a tall pair of stilettos. Drag helps me unleash my inner diva. I feel beautiful, powerful and on top of the world when I take the night by storm in full fledge drag!!!
I don’t have to unleash my inner drag queen, that implies that it’s hidden away. I don’t bother with eyeshadow that’s not vibrant and sparkly, and long “look-at-me” lashes are the only way to go. My long hair is constantly changing colors, from bright red to dark blond to black and I always keep it looking curly and cute. I don’t care if I’m going to the grocery store or to a party, heels are a definite must and the higher they are, the better. A sprained ankle in the name of looking fabulous will just have to do. Plain and bland may as well be four-letter words. Why would I bother unleashing my inner drag queen when I can keep it out all the time?
I unleashed my Diva by putting makeup on and singing “I’m every Woman”. It is so the song with anybody!
rupaul can be my drag mother any day…she has more fierceness in her lil’ pinky than some bitches have in their vagina…U BETTUH WORK!!! 😉
My Diva name is Honey La’Rouge and I desperatily need the make-up. Darling, I’m getting up there in age and this is the little gift that would keep on giving for a long time,
i always knew my baby brother was destined to be fabulous drag queen… since the Drag Race and Drag U were not on the air back in the day, his firstmakeup and hair lessons came from me, via cosmo lol! now that he has met his drag family, he is teaching me SO much more than i EVER taught him!!!
Ok, I am now officially inspired.
As for me i i love becoming a diva i just love the way i look when i am The Empress Phoenix. It empowers me and makes me want to be in the center of everything all eyes on me . I am a B.B.D.Q.( OK !) that is a Big Beautiful Drag Queen .
.-= Phoenix aka James’s last blog post… Empress Phoenix Sexy as hell thats what i am =-.
My inner drag queen comes out when I rock out a fierce cut crease eye shadow look accompanied by a bold lip color. Raaarrr! Fierce darlin’…absolutely fierce. Don’t forget the diva attitude. Work it!
I’m enrolling in grad school soon, but I wish I was heading to Drag U…now that’s a dream school!
I love love love love the dramatic looks!
I go to Japanese Rock concerts in California. It gives me a few times a year to unleash my fierce and dramatic costume style without being judged.
I’m a gogo dancer and general creature of the night, so whenever I get ready to shake it I always slather on the drag queen make up.
I’ve never shyed away from bright colors and glitter and glamor. Sometimes I think I overdo it, but then I see the way the false eyelashes, rhinestones and bold colors look in the dark club and I’m ready to take over the dancefloor 😉
The way that I unleash my drag queen is by listening to dance, electronic, house, techno, and rock music. I unleash Midnight (my alter ego) everyday, especially when I am listening to music. My favorite song would have to be any song from Madonna or Lady Gaga. I love bold, drag worthy makeup, because I like seeing the transformation that goes on while, applying the makeup.
I think that everything one should unleash the inner drag, everyday because you will show your true self.
I love Rupaul’s drag u!!! My favorite karaoke song is Katy Perry’s “Waking up in Vegas!”, every time I hear it I feel like I’m living a fantasy!!
I love love love love the dramatic looks!
I go to Japanese Rock concerts in California. It gives me a few times a year to unleash my fierce and dramatic costume style without being judged. I always make sure to wear my 7in platform boots with chains and jewelry everywhere.
My inner Drag Queen has been imprisoned for far too long and it is time for her to break free. My song of choice would be Control by Janet Jackson. I LOVE watching both Rupaul’s Drag Race and Drag U I always learn so much with every episode. I especially loved (not that i need it) Raven’s tip for an instant “face lift”. Hair, makeup and fashion are my hearts desire. I would love it if the past contestants and current professors would post makeup and hair tutorials on LOGO as I would love to see how close I could get to looking FABULOUS!
I love the art of drag!!! It is a complete transformation, and they are always so beautiful! I want to be as beautiful as a drag queen!
To unleash my inner drag queen I never go without mascara!
I want to be madeover by Pandora for my wedding! I love how sweet/soft/bubbly her style is! Wouldn’t it be so awesome to get married at Drag U? OMG only in moi’s dreams!!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE RuPaul’s Drag race. JuJuBee is still my fav
.-= Damali’s last blog post… A Matter of Time =-.
I love drag queens for the boldness they have that so many (including myself) are afraid to show to the world. I wish I had more drag in me!
I wish I could find my inner drag queen. I can’t put on makeup worth a damn. Had I known about Drag U, I would have SOOOOOO applied to be in it.
My sister and I have always said that we were drag queens trapped in woman’s bodies. We love big fake hair, fake eyelashes, crazy tall heels, flashy clothes, disco, and RuPaul! I haven’t seen my real hair color for years and I NEVER leave the house without makeup! NEVER! I TIVO Drag Race and NEVER miss an episode! Work it bitches!
Kisses,
Kitty
i’m all about unleashing my inner queen in my own special little ways….like shaving my head but then wearing bright red lipstick everyday or wearing my kick-ass red patent leather wedges on a small errand around town.
.-= Kaitlin Kostus’s last blog post… issue 4 cover =-.
I release my inner drag by throwing on one of my many lace front wigs, the Glamour lashes and having my face Beat! Then along with my friends we spend the night Lip Syncing for our Lives!!! And that’s the TEA… I Live for RU…Muah!
I do it by hanging with my fabulous lady friends, turning up the music, and letting the inner diva take hold!
I bring out my inner drag queen when I wear something deliciously tacky and can’t be bothered to care what others think of it. cover girl, put the bass in your walk!
touch this skin honey…touch all this skin, darling! You just can’t take it…you’re just an over grown orangutan!
I absolutely adore nyx cosmetics. Their eyeliner is so gorgeous and in a lot of exciting colors. It’s perfect for making fabulous drag queen looks or just for ordinary day makeup. I always look fierce with my crazy makeup colors or with just a regular neutral tone. also, drag U is fabulous and Ongina +Jujubee are the fiercest people ever. And what! <3
I release my inner Queen just like my Auntcle ( aunt/uncle) Lacey taught me. I put on my favorite dress n heels, do my make-up n hair and sing n dance like no one is watching!!!! F*ck tem girl was his motto!! Lol! RuPaul reminds me sooo much of him n i miss him sooo much. I know he wouldve loved her! Every time i think about him i get misty-eyed like i am now!!!
Last night’s DragU was a little too close to home. I adore fashion, clothes, makeup, glamor. But I dress like a schlumpf. I know I’ll learn to let out my inner Queen with concentrated doses of RuPaul’s DragU! {hugs}

I unlease my inner drag queen with lashes and a hint of color lining my lower lids.
I unleash my inner drag queen with fabulous make up great hair and GLITTER!!!
I really embrace being a girlie chick, and I am all for men who want to bring out the inner diva!!!
Being young (23) I am so proud to be growing up in this era of change, I am so happy to see ‘Reupaul’s Drag Race’ showing the many different sides of the industry and bringing it to the forefront of the mainstream and saying “you know you want to watch because we are fabulous!!!!” I am a full supporter in people expressing themselves without worry of hate! Discovering that I was a lesbian was one of the most wonderful things that happened at 18, and delving into this free world of self expression has been a journey that is very liberating!
I have soo much respect for those girls and boys around the world, who dress how they want and wear vibrant beautiful make up! Drag Queens, Scene Queens, Kawaii chicks keep bringing that style! We are beautiful all of us and we glow…especially with the help of NYX!
<3 Ashley <3
IloveRuPaul and fabulous shows. <3
I get me my inner queen on with some intense eyeshadow and a big wig!!! WERK!!!
As an aspiring cosmetologist and licensed pharmacy technician i believe in helping people to look and feel their best. Medicine helps people feel better and so does a fresh face of make-up! Just knowing how much i love make-up and getting dolled up i’m surprised there aren’t more men enjoying the perks of being feminine and fabulous! <3
it would be amazing for me to win this! i watch RuPaul’s shows all the time…really awesome!
I recently lost my job and haven’t been able to release my inner diva. It would be awesome if I won. Pick me!!!
I unleash my inner diva every time I hit the stage and dance. The feeling of having the crowd living every moment of your performance is the most amazing feeling to me. I perform for them and it is extremely rewarding when I feel they are enjoying every second of my performance.
I get my diva going by having a glass of wine, crankin up the music and paintin face! Dont forget those big beautiful lashes!!
I love watching Drag Race and Drag U! RuPaul seems like a really intelligent and interesting person, and his shows are really fun and entertaining.
If Adam Lambert and Lady Gaga were to have a “make-up baby”…that was adopted by “Toxic” music video Britney…who then ran off to raise the child with Amy Lee of Evanescence… THAT would be the ultimate drag-worthy make-up look!!!
I’ve Always enjoyed singing Blondie, and Janis Joplin for karoke. I didn’t get into make up until my 20’s because it was never encouraged for use in my household. My mother always taught me that true beauty comes from the inside. I don’t disagree with her at all, nothing is sexier on anyone than a smile and confidence. I learned how to do make up from a clergical Brother in college during a make up class. I’ve never met anyone in the Holy order who had more sass, and class while doing theatre.
Gurrrrrrrrllllllllll. Back in the day I was dating this dude that was 6″4′. I am not so height gifted. So to level the playing field (so to speak) I got a stunning pair of taaaaall platform red leather boots often that were “Kinky Boots” before that titular movie was ever made. Okay, they were stack heel and not stilletos (um, it was the 90s) BUT I felt POWERFUL SEXY in those kicks. A little bit drag queen, a little bit Wonder Woman, a whole lot of fun.
I ditched the guy. Kept the shoes.

I love RuPaul and I’m so sad I missed the premeire of this show! I’ve been looking forward to it or month!
i love jumbo NYX on MILK so rich and pigment it!!!! 😛
I LOVE Drag U! It’s my new favorite show!(Until Glee comes back, lol!) RuPaul has always been a hero and he just keeps getting better! I love going to drag shows and supporting my local queens! I love you Ru and keep being fierce!
I release my inner drag queen by wearing fierce stilettos and glossy lips. I listen to a song by Ru Paul or Annette Lepore! I do my makeup with false lashes and smoky eyes. And then I walk the sexiest walk ever with lots of girl power!
I release my inner drag diva by watching rupaul’s drag race and attending the rocky horror picture show in drag. My parents aren’t for it and they don’t know, but I don’t let that stop me. U am my own person and I work it in my five inch stilettos anyway.
My favorite karaoke songs are “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and “Paradise by the Dashboard Light.” Yeah, I love me some drunken Meatloaf songs.
liquid eyeliner and and good lipstick work everytime.
Loves & Kisses to RuPaul! Better work!
I feel my inner drag queen burst forth any time life starts getting me down. I get Flamboyantly feminine in my 50s style get ups. Great pin up style make up with crazy cat’s eye eyeliner. Meow!! 😉
Love, love, LOVE Ru & the girls. I get such a boost from the show and surprisingly less carry than my BF’s favorite, Top Chef – lol!
I don’t have an inner diva. I’m a diva 24/7. Whether I’m dressed up fierce and fabulous or lounging about the house in my jammies. It’s all about the attitude.
Wish I could look fabulous like all you drag queens!!!
I think my favorite karaoke songs to sing to and work it to are Get Away With Murder or Prisoner by Jeffree Star, or any songs off of Ru’s album “Champion” and the song “Supermodel (You Better Work)” or “Lookin Good, Feelin Gorgeous” also by the fabulous, fine, fresh, FIERCE RuPaul! I love drag worthy makeup so much I even did a report on makeup for my college Musical Theatre History class and included Ru and a few of the queens! It earned me big points! haha. Ru is amazing, he’s truly shown me how to be true to myself and come out to my family, as strange as that may sound. As Ru would say “Gentlemen, start your engines…and may the best WOMAN…WIN!”
My inner drag queen began to stir the first time I saw my mom make herself up. The powder puffs, the makeup, the perfume, the heels…OMG! I was gagging.
The first time I put eyeliner on…The Mistress Formika Dinette was born…and she hasn’t stopped since. You definitley have to learn to love yourself and exude the fierceness and fabulousness we ALL have inside of us (be it man or woman). Let your inner drag queen out for all the world to see and experience.
Remember as Ru once said..”You are born naked and the rest is drag.”
I release my inner drag when I just last weekend went and picked myself up some gorgeous 6 inch platform heels that make me so tall and sexy!
i love ru!!! hope i win!
Make-up is eeerthing! Especially to me, I’ve only read the review for ruru’s book, and i NEED it!
I don’t identify as a queen, by I am the most passionate person when it comes to make-up.
To me make-up can make you feel POWERFUL, and if i won this package you best believe i would use every Mineral it has to offer! (lol)
I’m in cosmotology, and it would be so grateful if i had this in order to hone my make up skills, and i wouldn’t have to snatch some eyeshadow from the drugstore finally!
I hate to admit it, but im struggling to finance my life in general and again i’d be so grateful to win. so PLEASE PICK ME!
belows a picture of some of my skills haha
http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=225680&id=100000234115770
When I’m alone in the house, I stand in front of my full-length mirror and lip-sync to the hottest, diva-est songs around. Oh, I’m fully aware I’m not the only one who does this, and I’m probably not even the only person entering this contest who’s mentioned it. But it’s the number one way for me to unleash my inner drag diva.
It’s also the ONLY time I wear makeup! Give me big red lips and smoky eyes, and my performance is through the ROOF!
I want to win this to give is to my boyfriend. He has recently accepted the fact that he is feminine and is really getting into cross-dressing, but he has no money to spend on living basics, let alone makeup and female clothing. This would really just make his year to get a gift like this and finally be able to live what he feels. <3
I like to full on boogie to Lady Gaga! I also have some purple glitter eyeshadow that is tasteful enough that I get a lot of compliments on!
I am obsessed with fake lashes, mascara, and liquid liner. NYX is the ONLY brand I will buy and everyone is shocked when I tell them how much better it is than department store brands!

I unleash it by applying some cat-style liner and glittery gloss…….I don’t cover my face in makeup, tho.
For me, it’s all in the eyes! I actually went to a drag show one night and def did up a fierce smokey eye like I never usually wear lol. Black and silver based and did a nude, pinky lip to match. It was def fun being able to go all out with my makeup and not look like a wierdo! lol =)
Yay! Made it before 11:59pm! I hope I win this because I am dying to try NYX Cosmetics
.-= Nikhai’s last blog post… FOTD- Face of the Day =-.
I’m usually somewhat of a plain jane. Long bone straight hair and minimal monochromatic makeup. If I win this set, I would use it to transform into the diva waiting to come out, lol. Big hair and big colorful makeup!!!
I cut picture out of magazines of fierce makeup and put it into a book. When I’m ready to do my makeup I pick a face.
I miss Nina Flowers
I am a regular gay male…. But I’m pretty outrageous. I’m not really a drag queen, but EVERYONE I know tells me that I ought to do drag. I wear makeup. Lots and lots and lots of makeup. Not just a little chapstick. My everyday look is a smokey eye and nude lip and I’m always wearing lots and lots and lots of foundation, shimmery blush, mascara and bronzer. My eyebrows are always shaded and my hair is always straightened, teased and sprayed. I like going to parties and random gatherings and getting kind of drunk and singing songs!!! I usually sing Disney songs, show tunes, and pop/r&b songs from the 90’s to the early 00’s. I’m far from a wallflower, I love attention, and I demand it<33333333 I wouldn't mind winning this set. I'm completely obsessed with makeup… I buy a huge bag full of makeup everytime I walk into a Sephora or a Nordstrom… I can't really stop myself. Haahahahaha now that I think of it, I might just be a pretty toned down drag queen. I remember wearing electric eel, chrome yellow, passionate and bitter eyeshadow a LOT in high school. hahahahaha
Did I mention that I believe that you shouldn’t step out of your house without false eyelashes on? And that there’s no such thing as TOO MUCH glitter? I wear 2 grams of Super Orgasm blush a day and I consider that to be NEUTRAL. The bigger the hair, the closer to God. It takes a lot of money to look THIS cheap<33333

I love glittery accessories! And high, high heels (of course).
I love RuPaul!!! <3 Happy belated birthday by the way!! 🙂
I would love to be on drag u…I’m fascinated with all the beautiful queens and the way in which they get ready! It’s a process that’s so interesting to watch and I want to learn some of their tricks 😉
my favorite kareoke songs (so far): Total Eclipse of the Heart and Raspberry Beret. Not that those are my favorite songs, but when I sang them, I made it WORK honey!! 😀
for me there is nothing more exilirating than putting on some janis joplin getting all made up and slipping into some cute little number and belting out me and bobby mcgee. ive done drag off and on for almost 10 years and it actually saved my life. i came from a home where men were men and they didnt do this sort of stuff REDNECK CENTRAL!!!! so i took off and decided i was gonna be me no matter what the rest of the world thinks and you know what? i found that there was a whole world out there that loves us. now the inner me and outer me are one in the same. so honey you got to listen to rupaul when he says if you dont love yourself how the hell you gonna love someone else. thank you ru for being such a strong influence and such a amazing role model. XOXOXO
THIS CONTEST HAD ENDED ON TUESDAY JULY 20TH. SO WHY PEOPLE STILL TRY TO ENTER IT.
