It’s such a gorgeous summer day in San Diego! Once I’m done with my final this Saturday, I’m going to put on my favorite summer look and enjoy the sunshine (after putting on lots of sunblock, of course!). I made the mistake of neglecting my shoulders while I was volunteering after an event and there is definite skin peel-age going on right now!

It is HOT in Texas, when I saw HOT I mean it. Think your face melting as soon as you walk out the door. I don’t how they did it in the olden days but THANK GOD for air conditioning.

Last time I went swimming was December 2008ish. I had a membership to the YMCA, and they had 2 indoor pools and 1 outdoor pool. I grew up spending summers in the pool, I really do miss it.

I rarely wear a full face of make up in the summer.I always wear powder because I have rosacea and my face is blotchy. I also normally wear lip stain and curl my lashes. I only wear full make up if we are going out to a nice dinner or I have a special event that I want to look nice for. Otherwise, its just too hot!
I’ve always rather liked TRESemme. My hair is long and crazy thick, and their anti frizz products really do help keep me from turning into pyramid head through the day.
I don’t know how to swim! I grew up in the innercity so it wasn’t really necessary lol if I do happen to be in a body of water I just float
I’ve been thinking about getting Hakuhodo brushes. I’ve heard nothing but great things about them, but the handle of the brushes are shiny. I prefer matte black handles.

haven’t been swimming in a while and I don’t wear a full face of makeup in the summer either. always good concealer & waterproof mascara. also a great eye pencil like MUFE or UD 24/7. they stay on my eyes very well 🙂

I went swimming on Monday! I live in Florida and, obviously, it’s very sunny and hot so the water felt a little like a bath; not much of a break from the heat outside, but still nice. 🙂

I do full eye makeup in the summer, but scale down my foundation considerable. Lately I’ve been digging Philosophy’s Clear Makeup, which is more of a mattifying primer than a foundation – but I think it smooths my pores out enough to be passable for work!
The last time I went swimming was in college, and that was only because I had to take a beginner’s swim class and pass a swim test in order to graduate 😛

When my boyfriend had knee surgery and couldn’t shower for awhile I bought him the Tresemme waterless shampoo and it worked really great for him. I’m curious how the dry shampoo works!

Don’t like to wear lipstick during the summer for some reason but I find myself reaching for your MAC Lipglass in Evolution Revolution everyday! It’s my very first lipglass and I really like it, looks nice with tanned skin!
You know, surprisingly…I’m kind of looking forward to fall. I wish seasons switched every other month because after a month of any season…I seem to get tired of it. My skin has also been incredibly oily (maybe that’s why I’m ready for some cooler weather).

Ooh, this is a nice set. I use Tresemme products on the regular (used that dry shampoo today, actually!), except their hairspray because it breaks me out. Bummer, cause it’s such a nice product for cheap!
Even though it’s summer, I wear a full face of makeup whenever I go to work, and on weekend’s when I’m out and about. 🙂 I try to keep it minimal. Just BB creme, translucent powder, bronzer, eyeliner and mascara.

Instead of a full face, I’ve just been going for tinted moisturizer and waterproof mascara. If it’s 100 instead of 105 (you know, cold) I’ll throw in a cheek stain.

I haven’t swam since I spent spring break in Florida, with the humidity I have been experiencing lately this should be a crime. I need to find a pool ASAP.
In the summer I almost never wear a traditional full face of makeup. I have super oily skin so when you add the summer heat to that, not even primer and blotting can save me! Foundation and powder go out the window and I stick to bronzer, blush, eye shadow, mascara, lippy stuff and maybe some highlighter. No one wants to see me melt!

I went swimming this past weekend with my son but we play with water balloons every afternoon after I pick him up from summer camp.
I just went swimming today!! I’ve been wanting to go to the pool at my apartment complex all summer, but since I’m new to the state I didn’t know anybody to go with, and its not my boyfriends cup of tea. Today I finally decided to go on my own, and it was so worth it!
Full make up in the summer only lasts for me until the temps rise above around 85, then its tinted moisturizer only!

Sadly, I haven’t gone swimming since last summer – it’s still pretty cool around here lately; not exactly beach weather, ):. It usually doesn’t get too warm even in August, which is why I *do* walk around with a full face of makeup in the summer.
It’s too hot here to do anything but stay in a air-conditioned area. It was reported that this may be the hottest month we have EVER had in Austin, TX.

I went swimming today! Took the kids to the neighborhood pool. Before we went, I put a bunch of coconut oil in my hair (didn’t have to melt it as I can’t get the house any cooler than 78 degrees in the sweltering Texas heat) and wadded it up on top of my head, After a few hours of marinating it was smooth and soft after I washed it!

But anywhoo, I wear a full face of makeup all day every day, because i have to for work. I tried to lighten up my makeup looks every day, but with all the great things that you suggest, I can’t get out of the house with anything less than 10 items! Took my PCATS today in attempt to get into pharmacy school. During the math section I was about to cry because I thought I got around 30th percentile (With 3 minutes left I randomly clicked answers to 20 out of 48 questions). Got my scores as I left the test, 80th percentile in everything but Reading Comprehension. (Schools like 70 and above so I was all set to get to pharm school). Reading comp had to ruin everything didn’t it? Now I have to retake them 🙁

Ha! I actually have been on a runway once: “modeling” clothes that are good for professional and interviewing occasions at university. Still laugh at the way we had to walk, then pose on each corner of a catwalk shaped like a capital t. It was fun.
I am madly in love with a wonderful man who lives 1150 miles away. I can honestly say he is my Godsent.

Trying to do pretty lips & mascara even on those days i spend running around outside for my job (almost too hot for anything). I’m about 75% there! MUFE concealer waterproof is great whether you’re swimming, singing in the rain, or sweating in san antonio!
i normally dont wear a full face unless im going out. normally i only wear the basics eyeliner, mascara and foundation or tinted moisturizer. today i went to work with out eyeliner and i felt naked.
It is ridiculously hot in South Texas, but I still do a full face of makeup everyday.
I used to swim on a swim team but now it’s been a couple weeks since I’ve been swimming and before that it was even longer.
I haven’t gone swimming since my husband was home from overseas. So it has been over a month

I rarely wear a full face of makeup in the summer!! It melts right off my face even with primer and all, I sweat!!! But when I have an event, wedding etc., I’ll wear full face of makeup. If not, it’s tinted moisturizer, bronzer, mascara and lipgloss!
It would be really great if Tropical Storm Don would dump some rain on my neck of the woods because we haven’t had any measurable rain since May! And oh, my… the heat. Today it’s supposed to hit about 106 again. Makes me dream of fall.

You should try Make Up Forever Face & Body Foundation. It is super lightweight but offers wonderful coverage. Equally good is ther HD foundation.

We just went swimming last night, as a matter of fact! The weather has cooled down considerably (it’s odd that 80 degrees feels cold), but the boys’ sit-on-floating toys came in and they wanted to try them out. I actually spent more time scrubbing the pool liner than swimming, but it makes me happy when the water is sparkly! 🙂

I love summer… the hotter the better. It is so hot in Texas right now we are breaking a lot of heat records. Today a cool front must have blown in because it is only 101 instead of 105 haha. I wear makeup everyday (even in the Texas heat). As long as you use primers and have blotting papers with you AT ALL TIMES, your makeup should still look good in the humid heat. Instead of applying my liquid foundation straight on my skin, I mix it with a face sunscreen first and that gives it a more light summery feel (which is best in the heat!).
I haven’t been swimming in almost a month but I”m making time this weekend for an overdue dip at the beach.
I am looking forward to my trip to NYC next week!

I walked down a makeshift runway in a consignment store’s fashion show. I was 17, had on brown corduroy bellbottoms and a matching brown corduroy vest, and the music in the background was ABBA’s Dancing Queen. It was spectacular!

Went swimming in the transparent green-clear water off Florida’s Emerald Coast four days ago. When I meet a deadline I take the four-minute drive to the beach and get the stress out. : )

I loved the makeup for mara hoffman. The big face things gave it a kind of unexpected sort of surfer vibe.

OMG! Back in high school we had a business outfit fashion show and looking back at the pics is hilarious. My hair is larger than life and the shoulder pads on the suite are even larger! LOL

As much as I love the water, the cool Bay Area weather means I rarely get to go swimming, boo! And I honestly can’t remember the last time I wore a full face of makeup – most days I just do sunscreen (SPF 50-70 year round!) and powder because I’m such an oil slick, lol.
My friend’s getting her tragus pierced this weekend (it’s a small inside bit of your ear) and it’s tempting me to get another as well – just my earlobe though 🙂
