Hmm, I can think of two favorite brands right now – Too Faced and Urban Decay. I just know they’ve really impressed me and I’ve been super happy with their products that I’ve tried.

I gush over Dior and Chanel makeup but I’d say my favourite brands would have to be the ones I use the most so Loreal Paris (great quality packaging, love the nail and lip products especially), No7 (their mascaras are the best I’ve ever used and their eye-shadow palettes etc. are always great)and bareminerals (I use the foundation almost everyday, never have I done that with any other foundation before!). But I’d love to try some brands I don’t see over in the UK that you can get in Sephora! 😀
Last night I went out with friends to watch Fast and the Furious 6. Freakin’ fantastic movie. Mindless exciting action and lots of eye candy! Anyway, beauty-wise I’ve been really enjoying the Aqualillies for Tarte Palette. It has everything you need for a full-face summery makeup look, plus it’s waterproof and lasts really well on my oily skin.
Why is it soooo hard to find a nice moisturizer? I recently bought a La Roche-Posay’s one after one Clarin’s fail and still my face is cracked and awful, I even think LRP’s one is giving me acne 😐 Btw, I LOVE that wig-cat on the right, I think is one of my favourite campaigns from Tabs xD

When I was about 15 I did my aunt’s makeup for a blind date. She kinda looked like a hooker because I piled on the eye shadow and glitter. Maybe she looked more like a stripper with the glitter. Needless to say it didn’t work out between them but she is happily married now and has a one year old son! So really I just helped her weed out the bad apples

My favorite book growing up was called Jacob Have I Loved. I read it a few years ago for kicks and it’s still great! About twin sisters and the love/hate relationship between them. I never had a sister, but for some reason, that book still resonated with me. Maybe it’s the idea of being the black sheep?

Diet Pepsi. I have not been to a movie in years–I don’t like sitting in a dark room with a bunch of people I don’t know. Oh, and the sound is always way too loud–I can feel the Dolby Surround Sound at the cellular level and afraid it will give me a heart attack. One of the last times I went to a movie was when I lived in Bethesda, Maryland. My husband and I were the only people there–SWEET!–until two women walked in–guess where they sat? Exactly in front of us!!! EXACTLY!!!! We must have been wearing out invisibility cloaks or they were the stupidest/rudest people in the world.

I love Too Faced because the BB cream matches my skin perfectly. I adore MAC because of their dope eyeshadows and lip colors and I am obsessed with NARS because of their Night Star eyeshadow (I remember when it was out of stock forever because Sarah Jessica Parker wore it when the Sex and the City series started) and Cruella lip color. Whew, I think that’s it!

Your blog is my favorite! My favorite brands are Dior, Laura Mercier and Nars. I think the best thing about those brands is that they aren’t one-trick ponies- they all have great foundations, mascaras, lipsticks and eyeshadows.
Hmm, three favorite brands would have to be MAC, Illamasqua, and OCC. I like unusual colors, and I really only use lip products, and these three brands always seem to have really cool and unique lip stuff.

I have way too many favorite books to pick just ONE. Being that I’m in graduate school, however, leisurely reading has become a thing of the past (but it’s summer now so I am indulging myself in A LOOOTTTTT of books for free reading).
My favourite makeup brands? Oooh! I’d have to say
1. Le Metier de Beaute
2. Burberry Beauty
Both because they have well-edited lines, great product consistency, beautiful formulas, flawless shades, an elegant image and an association with quality. They’re just the best of the best and I’d rather have a few of their products than many from other brands!
(And if I have to name a third? It’d probably be between Guerlain, Addiction by Ayako and Suqqu. Because Addiction is all sorts of Japanese cool)
I go to the movies once every couple of months. More in the summer. less when nothing interest me.

I went to my friend’s graduation party tonight, and I think I bonded with the dog the most. He was a fluffy little thing that looked like a wookie.
I just did a light smokey eye look for the very first time today! I don’t wear make up that often, though I wear them regularly only in the weekends. I’ve always done very natural look though! Today I felt a tad more adventurous and did a light smokey eye look! Light meaning I didn’t put tons of the dark color. Anywho, I liked it and my husband did too! 🙂

Well, I’d say my three favorite brands are Guerlain, Chanel and Burberry but there are so many nice ones for specific things. I think they all put out consistently beautiful collections with reasonable spacing unlike…MAC. lol My favorite book growing up was Jane Eyre. Still love it.
And Coke…pepsi is just too sweet. lol
Nora Jones’ first album is will put you to sleep. Its a good album, don’t get me wrong; it’s just like sleepytime tea for your ears.
Also I’m eating this strawberry romanoff donut – this is twice in one month – I’m in love. Google it! Do-Rite Donuts, Chicago!

Mu favorite drugstore mascara is covergirl natureluxe volume mascara. It’s one of the blackest American mascaras that I’ve used and it’s pretty volumizing. It’s pretty much my go to mascara.
Funny you mention Tabs going nuts, so did my Fat Fred. He literally started trying to ascend the door.

I actually trimmed my 10-year-old son’s hair last night. Hi bangs were in his eyes but he refuses to go get a haircut last one was a disaster.
My favorite ds mascaras are Maybelline – Lash Discovery for bottom lashes and first coat, then Mega Plush two more coats on top. Long, defined, soft, super-voluminous lashes! Haaaay!!

I love Urban Decay for shadows/liners, the Balm for blush, and Benefit for mascara. Coke over Pepsi, but both are yummy! My favorite book growing up (and still in the top 5) was Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

I am on the hunt for a HG mascara again. I’ve fallen out of love with my L’Oreal Beauty Tubes and have since tried Lashblast (smudged), Full n Soft (smudged), and Benefit’s they’re real (doesn’t give me length SADFACE). Maybe I’ll try Hypnose next. I hate looking for a good mascara!

Soo, currently I’ve been using L’oreal Extra Volume Collagen and L’oreal Voluminous for my mascara combo and the results are amazing lashes! I really loved BareMinerals Lash Domination but I think it irritated my eyes 🙁 Happy Memorial Day!!

Favorite Drugstore mascara is Wet n Wild’s Mega Plump mascara. Gives length, definition and just enough volume. NO CLUMPS EVER!!
My new HOLY GRAIL lipsticks are by MILANI. $8 wonderfully spent every time!! This drugstore brand also has some very pretty blushes for about $7-8 as well, and I Love em!!

I cut my brother’s hair once. He was in college and I was in junior high. He kept saying “shorter!” Our mirror was his reflection in the kitchen window. It was also an early lesson in makeup, when I hand to find a way to try to cover up the bald spots I’d cut. I tried my maybelline eyeliner – the red pencil one – but it was too dark. That was in the days when I’d use a ligher to heat the eyeliner to melt it a little and then line the lower waterline. Ah, the early 80’s!
Wow, favorite makeup brands? That’s so hard to choose! At the moment I would say they would have to be NARS, Make Up For Ever, and Tarte! 🙂

Yesterday I was visiting a lovely couple who live in a beautiful house by the lagoon. They have a gorgeous cat called Mishina. She’s deaf but she remember me when I come by because she follow me around and in the moment I sit she immediately jumps over my lap and she fells asleep. 🙂

I did once cut my friend’s mullet off! This was 2002 or so, and the result of a tragic encounter with a stylist that she had never gone to before! We actually saved the hair, put it in an envelope, and gave it to her after our high school graduation.
If I had to choose between plain Coke or Pepsi then definitely I’d be Pepsi for me. Coke tastes to plain for me. I hadn’t realized that till I turned my early 20’s. Also moving to New Bern, NC (birth place of Pepsi) it made me the Pepsi lover I am now.

I was completely into ‘Nancy Drew’ and ‘Boxcar Children’ when I was a kid. In my teens, it was Harry Potter.
I just painted my nails the most beautiful red color. It’s amazing how much nail polish brightens the mood, eh?

I love Philosophy’s natural oil-based face cleanser. It really works to remove stubborn waterproof mascara. For all other mascara’s I love Rimmel eye makeup remover. It is inexpensive and it doesn’t irritate my eyes.

Well definitely prefer Coke but in the case of Sprite or 7 Up I’m 7 Up all the way :). My fave makeup brands right now and always are Dior and Chanel and also loving Guerlain (Bronzers, primer and their new BB Cream). Dior and Chanel have the most amazing beautiful colors I find. And love all the products, quality and package. Guerlain, I am discovering the brand and am impressed with the quality and how amazing the bronzers and primers are on my skin. Today I wore the New Nars Satin pencil in YU (Hot pink Fuschia) and on top the Dior Addict gloss in Incroyable (Sparkling fuschia). The effect a quite bright and pretty hot pink lips. My favorite book growing up was “Little Women” by Louisa May Alcott. I read it over and over again!! My sister managed to read all the books in “The Little House” series by Laura Ingalls Wilder.
