I have given a TV interview once, for the news station in my hometown. It was really weird, because I wasn’t in the studio. I had to wear an ear piece to hear the reporters’ questions and talk to the camera like a crazy person 🙂
We are finally having some -cold- nights here in Western Australia. I am actually wearing socks, arm warmers and a jumper! My housemates and I have been keeping warm with bottomless cups of tea. 🙂

Favorite soft drink is a tough one. The one that is the easiest to find is Dr Pepper, but there are a few hard to find ones, & one discontinued one, that I totally love. Stewart’s Key Lime Soda is amazing & if you like peach, Peach Fresca or Peach Faygo are really good. Snapple used to make sodas a long time ago & their Peach Melba was to die for.

A University coursemate has gone missing for 2 weeks. She was supposed to go back to her hometown during the break, but apparently didn’t. Parents thought that she was still here, friends thought she was back at her hometown, and everyone couldn’t contact her at all. She’s quite low key in class, so many didn’t even know about her, and she doesn’t have Facebook.
However, thankfully due to the “publicity” generated about her disappearance, there has been some leads and clues to her situation and whereabouts, but we all still pray for her.

It’s not HG for me or anything, but I really like the Rock & Republic lipglosses. They smell nice, are pigmented (depending upon the shade you use) and don’t feel sticky.

I gave a tv interview a long time ago — not a great experience. They interviewed me for 30 minutes or so, then only used like 5 words I said because they wanted to spin the story the opposite way!

It’s the perfect milkyish, natural pink color. I picked it up on a whim at Ulta because it was on sale… and fell in LOVE! I’m really sad because they don’t seem to be selling Bourjois products anymore, and I’m almost out of gloss 🙁

My new favorite hand scrub if anyone is interested in from B & B Works — True Blue Spa Just a Minute tangerine hand scrub. Yummy smell and it keeps my hands smooth and hydrated. In the summer I forget to wear sunscreen on my hands and at least this keeps them scrubbed and exfoliated. Who has time to do it all???

I was asked to do an interview for a news segment at the fair one time. I politely declined and got the heck away from there.
Hmm, I don’t really have favorite material possession, but I did when I was a kid! His name was Bobo. A 2 foot tall panda bear that I dragged along everywhere I went until he became a raggedy thing. Poor Bobo.

I saw the new Dior crystal glosses and I want one so bad. Last time I paid 31 dollars for a Dior Addict Ultra gloss I told myself I wouldn’t pay that much for another lip gloss. I have to admit I’m coffee obsessed, but I’ve got a fairly formidable stack of loose leaf teas as well. My favourite loose leaf is Mariage Freres’ Marco Polo. It’s a black tea that’s got the perfect amount of fruit and floral flavour, not overpowering, just lovely.

my favorite soft drink is definitely diet coke. my bf keeps some in his fridge for when i come over lol. its not necessarily b/c im dieting and i know it can create holes in my brain blah blah but i like the bitterness of it. regular sodas are way too sweet for me. i even like diet energy drinks like monster absolutely zero and rockstar lo carb because the regular counterparts are so sweet i cant even get them down.
Not including the kids, cats, dogs and fish….I would probably grab all of the original artwork on the walls and a current backup of the computer. Great question btw considering the 100 yr flood that is headed to my part of the country this week.

There is the coolest place ever at theEpcot Park in DisneyWorld called Club Cool. You can get generous free samples of Coke flavored sodas from different countries all over the world 🙂 my fav flavor is the one from China…a watermelon flavored pop. YUMMMM! Wish I was there now….

My grandma made matching outfits for her yorkie and I for some kind of dog fashion show charity benefit thing and I just chattered about our neon frilly dresses with the reporter guy. Soda makes me feel so guilty, but I love it so much. I love Dr Pepper. Besides that, there’s this one soda that I haven’t had in a few years, but it’s Venezuelan (pride!) and is sooo sweet and delicious. There’s only one place I’ve ever seen it in USA. The can has the same colors as the Venezuelan flag, so it’s really bright and pretty, if that matters, lol. The actual liquid is kind of reddish if I recall correctly, but I never really poured it into a glass to drink it, ha. The only Venezuelan soda Google will tell me anything about is Frescolita, but the packaging, at least, is not the same at all. (Couldn’t compare the flavors.)
Okay, so I just wrote an essay on that soda…but you’ll have to understand that I have a lot of good memories associated with it. :p

As of right now, my favorite lip glosse are the NYX megashines and the Wet ‘n’ Wild Glassy Glosses! The prices are amazing, as is the quality. Although, the Glass Glosses are not that pigmented.

I love Victoria’s Secret and Bath and Body Works for my lipglosses. They’re cute in packaging and not too sticky; they even leave my breath sweet or minty. I tried other brands, like Urban Decay, but hated the aftertaste.

BUT, surprizingly, I kinda like ELF’s lipglosses: they’re cheap, they don’t smell, they’re thick but not too sticky and if I lose them in my purse or wherever, i won’t be too bummed ( when I lose one of my MAC lipstick?! DRA-MA!!!)

Hi, Karen! My favorite material possession is my Lucky Brand calaveras hoodie. It reminds me of the Bay Area and Dia de los Muertos. I miss Oakland, Lake Merritt, and the (late, great) Parkway Theater! I miss being able to drive 15 minutes away from the little cottage I lived in in East Oakland, and suddenly being surrounded by woods. Yeah, it would be the hoodie.
