I don’t mind running for cupcakes.
They’re like my carrots. If you put a cupcake at the end of a stick in front of me, I’ll run after it. Every time.
So if you think about it, someone should invent something like that for treadmills, ya know? A stick that goes into the console and dangles a cupcake out in front.
I’d be hella runnin’ after that cupcake, yo.
Right now there are two of them — cupcakes — the little mini ones, one lemon and one strawberry, on the coffee table here in front of me, and they’re taunting me… I can hear their little voices in my head: “Oh, my gosh! We’re just so sweet and yummy. I hope someone eats us soon, tee-hee!”

I like lipbalms the smell like food. I grew up on the Bonne Bell Lip Smackers, so it’s actually odd to me if lipbalm doesn’t have some kind of fruity or candy taste to it.

I don’t bake much myself anymore, but the Sprinkles in Scottsdale is to-die-for delicious. There is a girl at my work that is always trying out new cupcake recipes and tricks and flavors, hers are pretty good too but I am a frosting lover and the ones at Sprinkles have LOTS. Yumm!

Yup, I enjoy baking and cupcakes are comparatively easy! Layer cakes are fussy. I don’t like gourmand-scented beauty products that smell sweet, sugary, and like they belong in a bakery. I’m fine with beauty products that smell floral, fresh, or fruity.
I enjoy making cupcakes and eating them. My favorite is vanilla with french vanilla icing – delicious!
I’m not into baking as much as I’d like to be, but I do enjoy my mom’s cakes and breads from scratch! I don’t really care for food scents in makeup or fragrances, and definitely NOT In gum – why would I want to freshen my breath with dessert flavors? That is so weird to me.

One favorite cupcake of mine is made with white cake mix with a box of Jello gelatin added. Easy, fruity, & yummy. You can add a whole box or there’s a recipe some where where you use part of the box in the mix & the other to make frosting for the cupcakes.

I live in Boston and there is this awesome cupcake place on the south shore called Babycakes. They make the best cupcakes! I get cupcakes any time I go out of town and they never compare.
As much as I love food, I dislike products that smell like food. I ended up giving away that cupcake flavored body wash from the Sephora birthday gift a few years back. I just don’t enjoy it and sometimes it makes me nauseous and I am not scent sensitive. I love citrus flavored scents though. It is so strange how different tastes are!

I always like the Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker cake mixes much better than any bakery kind.
I hate baking. I find that the recipes often work once, and the second time it comes out all wrong. I’d rather throw some pasta, chicken, and vegetables into a pan and cook until golden brown–cheese always helps too.

One of my very few domestic goals in life is to become an excellent baker (the only other is to wrap beautiful presents). As for scented beauty products, I can’t stand them. If it’s going anywhere near my face, it has to be fragrance-free, otherwise I get a raging headache. Even MAC’s vanilla-scented lipsticks are too much for me.

Regarding scented makeup, it definitely depends on the scent. I generally don’t like makeup with floral scents, like some Anna Sui products (rose-scented). Sweet food scents aren’t too bothersome; in fact, I actually bought the Philosophy Frosted Animal Cracker Lip Shine bc I loved the smell of the body wash so much. Seriously, I would snort the stuff if i could.

Mmm…Sprinkles. Haven’t been there in a long time. And now I’m craving it bad.
I really don’t like food scented cosmetics or air fresheners because they make me hungry. It is like having something cooking in the crockpot all day. I love baking. I often make banana bread with chocolate chips because the children at school prefer chocolate chips over walnuts. I also make iced blueberry cookies and banana nut muffins with flax seed.
I enjoyed reading your post on the Mac seminar, as I have never been to one, but my daughter and I love Mac. She recently started a blog. I wonder if Mac ever offers products for review and/or giveaways. Ok – you did say leave a comment, not write a novel!

I used to make cupcakes all the time. My favorite was once when I poured the batter into those vanilla ice cream cones and then piped vanilla icing on top. The looked like ice cream cones and were less messy than regular cupcakes in a baking cup.

I bake all the time – usually cupcakes.. they’re the easiest and the quickest to make. but my decorating skills need to improve quite a bit! i’m never able to do all those beautiful twists and turns with icing! sigh..

Not really a fan of food-scented beauty products though. I’d rather they have no scent or just a clean/fresh scent – it’s not enough to put me off buying a product though.
However I don’t mind the smell of Illamasqua’s lip glosses..they smell nice; I can’t place the smell though. They smell like..cake mixture, maybe? 🙂

I’m not a huge fan of cupcakes (or sweet foods in general). They’re alright, but their time as a “fancy” dessert will definitely be viewed as a fad.
That being said, if I was somewhere and there were only cupcakes to eat, I’d go for a red velvet cupcake with real cream cheese frosting. However, I like taking red velvet cake mix and making cookies out of it.
I’m not a big fan of baking. Not only is it too exact for me, but I don’t really like sweet foods. However, I AM able to bake. I just prefer to cook (and in that case, my specialties are frying, sauces, seasonings, using a wok, and dealing with meat).

I once had a red velvet that was lemon flavored! it was good, but just threw me off, because I wasn’t expecting lemon flavor.
