Luck o’ the Irish to ya! That’s one of the ways El Hub wooed me into marrying him, by saying that because he’s part Irish, we would have a long and lucky life. I’d pretty much already made up my mind by then, but ya know, it was another selling point. 🙂

I can’t think of anything new or noteworthy this morning. We did go see that movie last night, 21 Jump Street, and that was a lot of fun. You gimme a big bag of mixed popcorn/kettlecorn, Channing Tatum in a uniform and a pretty well-written comedy, and I’m a happy gal.
I’m still dusting the cobwebs off my brain this morning, so I’m having a wee bit o’ difficulty (because it’s St. Paddy’s, I’m going to talk like that all day long; just warning you) stringing my sentences together, but I’m sure today’s fried food and beer will help, haha!

Happy Saint Patrick’s, Karen and Tabs! I used Urban Decay 24/7 in Stash as base, the lighter shade of NARS Paramaribo on the inner half of my lids, and MAC Humid on the outer half. I lined my lower lash line with Urban Decay 24/7 in Mildew, and the smudged it out with the 3rd shade on the right column of Wet n’ Wild Comfort Zone. I reckon that’s enough green even for Saint Patty’s!
I love the *idea* of green eye shadow, but it never looks as good as I think it will when I actually wear it.

I am wearing my Wet’n’Wld dark green eyeliner. As someone with blue eyes and pale skin, I reallly don’t feel that olive eyeshadow is an option, and that constitutes the majority of green eyeshadows. Of course, if you know of any good, bright emerald eyeshadows recommendations are accepted. 🙂

I love green eyeshadow! It can be hard to make wearable/flattering, but I practiced the look I’m going to rock today. NYX pencil in Tropical green smudged out with MAC Humid and a tiny bit of MAC Contrast to line. Add some light gold shimmery accents (Mac Femme Fi) and mascara! Yay!

Éirinn go Brách! Married to a real off-the-boat Irishman meself. First St. Paddy’s Day he was in the USA (Boston) he was shocked at the green beer and general revelry. Back home in Cork, this day was more of a religious holiday with church going and I guess being grateful that St. Patrick had driven all the snakes out of Ireland. He’s in London this day and I imagine he just might find an Irish Bar and pop in for a wee pint of Guiness rather than attend church services–just an inkling I having.
The last time I had fish and chips was when I was studying abroad in England. Heard it was the dish to eat, so my friends and I split a plate. It was bland, so it was a bit of a disappointment.

MAC pigment in ‘Teal’ (876) was the first green eyeshadow I ever bought.
It’s so versatile and I love how it looks worn lighly applied with a dusting of gold eyeshadow on the inner corners of my eye or worn over black eyeshadow to create that iridescent peacock feather effect.

Well, my favorite fried food are French fries, I have tried green beer and I have worn green eyeshadows . I still wear green eyeshadow. In fact, I remember being a 5 years old girl and putting on my mom’ s mint green eyeshadow. God, my reflection on the mirror with that eyeshadow on was a revelation to me. I will never forget my first experience with makeup 🙂

I love green eyeshadow, however. Having red hair, I usually use a lime/light green shadow pencil during the spring and summer, and revert to darker forest/pine green shadows in the fall and winter.

I remember finding a four leaf clover as a young girl. I think I drank green beer once in my early 20s. I didn’t wear green for St. Patrick’s day this year (not a flattering color on me, you know?), but luckily no one pinched me.
I’m now completely vegetarian, but I used to eat fish – I can’t tell you how much I miss good fish and chips, all vinegarey and wrapped in newspaper. Now that you’ve brought them up I’m going to be thinking about them ALL DAY. Sigh.
I do a fabulous Riverdance impersonation if you get me drunk/silly enough – very, very few people have seen it, but those who have certainly remember it.

I was browsing the Almay section at Wal-Mart cause I had a coupon, and I stumbled on the most beautiful dark emerald green pencil liner. It’s actually made to enhance hazel eyes, and mine are blue, but I think the deep jade would honestly look amazing on any skin tone and eye color. I will write about not one but two things! First, I had an Irish boiled dinner last night — I only do this on St. Patrick’s Day & I look forward to it every year! Really yummy — I do enjoy cabbage although I never make it at home since my husband abhors the stuff. Second, I will mention how much I enjoy seeing Tabs. He is one handsome man! I have two cats & adore them — they are a brother & sister & their names are Evelyn and Leo. I love my kitties! Thank you for the opportunity to win this prize.
