In a post a couple of years ago you asked about new years resolutions. Writing that I wanted to improve on my eyebrow upkeep routine totally made me stick to it (a bit more)!
Gorgeous!! Wow. That would be perfection for my new years look. The last live performance I saw was an outdoor show of Tegan and Sara and the Black Keys!! It was bananas! I also just purchased some grey leopard (snow leopard?) skinny jeans. They sound wild, but are pretty subdued, if that is possible.
I love the idea of having eyes, lips, and cheeks together in one beautiful palette. 😀
I’m not crazy about most palettes because only a couple of the colors actually look wearable, but this one is fabulous!

The last year or so, I’ve used a small Sephora palette to take on trips. It’s really nice because of the pretty colors and because it is so compact, but sadly the shadows themselves aren’t as pigmented or as high quality as I’d like. I’ve actually been thinking about getting one of ’em BM palettes instead because they seem to be of much better quality.
As I was sick last week I haven’t bought ONE Christmas gift yet. I could have bought gifts before, but Christmas always comes as a total surprise to me.

I actually use the BM mineral foundation (matte formulation since I’m oily), so their matte foundation, face color thingy, and mineral veil are must haves for me. I’ve been itching to get my hands on one of their eyeshadow duos/quads/palettes though. :3

I depotted my Urban Decay Naked (v.1) palette and my NARS Orgasm/Laguna duo (and even manage to add a MAC Vanilla pan if I switch out Orgasm for Benefit mini sample blushes–the ones you get for 100pts at Sephora or in gift sets) and put them in my UNII palette to take for travel. It beats every pre-made travel palettes out there!

I travel a lot for school and I always take a couple palettes with me. I take either my Naked 2 Palette, one of my MAC Palettes, or my Inglot 3 pan or 8 pan palette, or a combination of those!

I take the NYX palette called Caviar and Baubles with me on vacation. It’s the perfect, inexpensive palette for every day and easily can be used for dramatic looks. Love it!
The feeling of wet wood (get your minds out of the gutters!! – like logs, wooden cooking spoons, etc.) totally creeps me out. I cringe like some people do with nails on a chalkboard…so it’s plastic and stainless cooking utensils for my kitchen LOL

I started doing my Christmas wrapping yesterday. I was on the second gift for my hubs when I discovered that the antitheft thing hadn’t been removed. I searched through the rest of his presents and found another one still attached. Since I’m not going anywhere near the mall until after Christmas I just put sticky notes on the items saying that we’ll have to bring them into the store before he wears them, and then I wrapped them.

What a cute palette! I’ve never owned any all-in-one palettes, only eyeshadow ones. The first eyeshadow palette I ever bought was full of sparkly pastel shades. I have no idea why I chose those colors.. I was not very makeup savvy at the time I guess.. lol! Needless to say, it was not very practical for everyday wear, and it still sits at the bottom of my makeup drawer pretty much untouched to this day LOL!

I haven’t found The One pallette that I must take on a trip–yet. But I did take my Stila In the Moment pallette with me on my last trip to Vegas along with a white eyeliner and a mascara. I just layered some eyeshadow on top of the white liner and VOILA! Instantly had 11 possible colors of eyeliner to use rather than just one.
i like to take a neutral palette with me on trips…sometimes mac athma, or urban decay get smoked, or sometimes something homemade!

The palette I take with me when traveling is a best of collection by Too Faced. It’s pretty much worn down though so this would make an awesome replacement! 🙂

I just can’t seem to make skinny jeans work with my shoes. I’m also on the curvier side and they just don’t do it for me, but I love them on other people.

I like skinny jeans, but not the Ultra Skinny jeans where I feel that I need to buy it in a size larger because it’s so snug and tight. Regular old skinny jeans is fine because you can pair them with flats, heels or boots.
I do have a beauty shopping buddy and it’s My sister because she’s into makeup just as much as I am if not maybe she’s more into it than I am because she’s a little bit younger than I am and she’s into skincare more than I am as well.

Personally, I love skinny jeans. I think that they are cute and they look good on me. I tend to lean towards “Jeggins” because they are stretchy and don’t give me a muffin top. I think in order to wear skinny jeans you have to have a certain leg type. 😀 (It also helps that I am only 20)

When I travel (usually between my graduate school in SoCal and the folks’ in the Yay Area!) I always at least bring my Naked palette and my single of ABC Gum, which is my fave all-over lid color to cover up eyelid veins and discoloration. I like that I can use the Naked palette for a natural eye around the family, but if I meet up with old friends in the evening the Naked palette still allows a bolder look. But since I’m driving instead of flying for the holidays… looks like I got some more space for makeup! Haha.

Though I’m not usually big on loose eye shadows – I get them everywhere. always. I just got the Bare Minerals eye shadow in Queen Phyllis and it is so lovely! Its a pale gold and I’ve been wearing it every freaking day. It makes me feel festive 🙂

I found a new makeup shopping buddy. My friend’s four and a half year old daughter, whom I fondly refer to as Mini. Visiting a makeup store with her was so much fun! I love the BareMinerals shadow formula! The Ready blue/gold duo is the only piece of makeup I have from their company but it’s amazing. I definitely want to try more of their line and this palette is totally making me drool.

I am sooo not a cat person, I’m allergic!, but Tabs is so sassy, I love it!
My go to eye shadow Palette has to be Guerlain’s 2011 Christmas Collection 4 Quad Shadow palette. It has 4 Peacock inspired colours, Seafoam green, silver, matte black and midnight blue.. So many endless possibilities to play with. And skinny jeans is a must must must!! I am plus size and I like nothing more than pairing a dark blue skinny with a loose airy blouse or a fitted tank top. Throw on a pair of snappy black and gold wedges and a blazer, and you got effortless chic down pat!!
I actually take the BareMinerals ready palette on trips, because the colors are so versatile, stay on, and go on like buttah.

Just got the bareMinerals starter kit and I’m loving it.
I’ve actually never tried Bare Minerals, but I have heard wonderful things! Hopefully I win this so I can try it out. I’m always so hesitant to pay full price for a new product because I never know how I’m going to react to it.
I live in Jamaica and my last concert I went to out here was our Jazz Festival where Maroon 5 was the head liners. It was Fabulous especially because I probably wouldn’t have been able to see them otherwise.

I always take my Mac eyeshadow palette! I think palettes are a great investment!
Bare Minerals makes some great products: Original SPF Foundation, All Over Face Color, SPF 20 Concealer, and great brushes too
I’ve been pretty obsessed with the Urban Decay Naked palettes lately. I take their Naked 2 palette on trips and just got their matte Basics palette. Both are great for those who love neutrals, like myself.
