Books, huh? Well, I just got some RPG books (role playing games, like old school Dungeons & Dragons) based on The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher & Dragonlance (by the makers of D&D), so I want to read those. I also have to read the newest Dresden book & finish the anthology. I’d like to reread the Game of Thrones books, in anticipation for the newest one coming out & to prep for the HBO series (I have to wait for the DVDs).
Not sure how much I’ll want to read because I have to go through & purge a ton of my books from my apt & storage anyways. I have about 2000+ (mostly sci fi & fantasy) mostly from books sales. I used to read all the time, but the last couple of years I’ve haven’t read much and I miss it.

Hiya Karen…It has been a while since my last post and have missed out on so much here. I would just die without my MAC around. I so love everything about their products. I so wanted some Hello Kitty when it came out, but was not able to get out to get some. I love this color… I currently have Ruby Red and wear it for special occasions…. It is not one that I could wear everyday, but would if I could… I currently use MACs Mauve or Frost with a clear gloss, when not out glammin’ it up and trying to be subtle. It was mentioned to me though, that I should give Pink Treat Cremestick and Cultured Lipglass a try when out in DRAB… The girls think it is pretty without being too much… Anyway, hugs and hope you have a safe trip back….

Yay! Giveaways!! Haha I have a Bare Escentuals lipstick in a deep berry (Berry Cordial actually) that I love!! I`m no lipstick expert but it goes on so nicely and lasts well (and natural ingredients!) plus the colour complements my skin tone so well! I`m quite pale and often have trouble finding a lip colour that doesn`t look shockingly out of place. Can`t wait to try MAC Crosswires!

I just bought MAC’s Rebel and it’s my absolute favorite lipstick ever! I’ve been looking for a hotpink lipstick rather than a hotpurple that will be my summer staple!

I’ve only owned two mac lip products in my life and they were both beautiful colors but I lost each of them. I’ve been so disheartened to buy new mac products because I don’t want to lose them again. I love mac lip products though.

well I’m pretty much a book nerd. so I have A LOT of books I want to read, however Ill tell you the best book Ive read this summer, its a romance novel called “His Eyes” by Renee Carter and its about a successful teen who loses his sight and this girl has to take care of him, its beautifu because the book is really deep and after reading this i firmly believe we should all fall inlove with our eyes closed..Ill leave the synopsis for you guys..

I always had a “Psshh whatever” attitude towards lip brushes, you know, why even bother with them? Of course one day one came with a set and I picked it up one day just for laughs, and to my shock I saw a difference in application! Now when I have the time and inclination I always use a lip brush, but if I’m on the go or in a hurry I’m not above using my lipstick straight out of the tube :-).

MAC Impassioned, although I have not been giving it enough love lately. I have become addicted to the Revlon Colorburst lipglosses. They smell so good that I am on a feel good high for 20 minutes (smells just like vanilla beans – not the sugary vanilla cookie smell of MAC). Too bad the smell does not last, though. It is gone once it goes on the lips 🙁
I’m all about bright/funky lips and nails 🙂 And I have 3 lip brushes lol

That’s a really lovely color. I haven’t tried MAC anything yet, can you believe it! I’m just starting to get into lipsticks and glosses. Right now my favorite is a nude Senna lipgloss. I’ve got a Korres natural pink 13 lipstick on the way. That’s as brave as I’ve gotten.

I never use a lip brush- somehow my hands become shaky with it. However, never had problems with my hands when using lipstick directly from tube 🙂

I love coral in any shape or form. I’m getting a coral swimsuit, coral blush, and now hopefully, coral lipstick.
I have never felt the need to use a lip brush! In fact, I can’t quite understand what people use them for 🙂
I just apply lip color from the bullet, smudge/spread with my trusty digits, and clean up (if needed) with a fingernail or Q-Tip.

today i went to the clinique counter at nordstrom with the intent of only buying the mild clarifying lotion. of course i walked away $100 poorer having spent additional funds on a super rescue antioxidant nighttime moisturizer and mac’s prep + prime skin brightening serum. at least i got a clinique free gift with purchase that comes with a cute trina turke for clinique makeup bag :/

If I’m in a rush or it’s a casual look, I’ll use it straight from the tube (either swipe or dabbed on) but if it’s for a more formal look, I’ll use a brush. Of course, I’ll use either a brush or my finger for my cream color bases.

My favorite lipstick is Plumful by Mac i love the color the texture is amazing
My favorite go-to lipstick of all time is UD’s Naked. It gives me the perfect rosy pink lips and goes with any makeup look I do. 🙂
the only mac lippie i own is california dreamin 🙁
I have never tried this type of lipstick but I would love to break out of the norm and try something new!

Love this color – venturing into brighter lip colors now that it’s summer (although you can’t tell from the weather)…also, just bought Maybelline Full Fuschia lipstick as a dupe for the impossible to find Candy Yum Yum and LOVE it!!!
I use a lip brush for darker colors like this one or bright reds and pinks, I bought my brush from the arts and crafts store for only 2 dollars and it works perfectly!!

I want (NEED) to finish the last harry potter book! im a HP nerd and ive read all the other books before ive seen their movie so i dont want to screw it up with the last book. i also really want to see it in the theaters not dvd (another thing ive done for all of the movies).
and i use my lip brush for dark/brigth lipstick. of course, i cant find a light pink i like so maybe id use it for that as well.
Current favorite lipstick is MAC Sheen Supreme in Ultra Darling. It’s the perfect pink! I’ve always been nervous about trying a red lip but this shade looks gorgeous!

WOW this is such an amazing coral stick. It’s a beautiful mix with red, pink and orange. I felt speechless when i first saw this on your blog. It would bright up my day for sure if i had it. 🙂
