You wanna talk about shocked? I was practically floored the first time I clicked to play this YouTube video of young Stefani Germanotta tickling the ivories at NYU. I’m serious — forget that goofy meat dress. This girl can SING!

I don’t know what took me so long, but I finally began trying MAC this year, and I have to say, I’m really liking their lip products! I’m definitely more Lady Gaga than Katy Perry. I love MAC more because of it’s affordable quality make-up. However, I’m both alpine forest and tropical beaches, love both. Speaking of lamps, I love lampshades, oh! the possibilities!

Taking a break from my grad school scholarship application to post this! *sigh* Back to work.
I rescued a kitty last night! It was in the 30 degree weather and rain:( Poor thing was wandering around in the road and looked disoriented. I scooped it up in a towel and called animal services. I’m glad the kitty got to spend a nice warm night instead of out on the street!

I was pleasantly surprised to walk onto my campus today to see a huge red ribbon on each tree – it’s good to see a school making world AIDS day known to all of their students, since most of them are unaware of these things.
Tropical beaches all the way. I will always be Lady Gaga’s little monster, but Katy Perry’s just so much fun these days! Chanel when I’m feeling classy, MAC when I’m feeling bold, and for everyday, it’s a toss-up between Bobbi Brown and Trish McEvoy. Now in terms of lamps, I love me some gorge chandelier lamps.
It absolutely pouring here. I’m not so happy about it given the distinct possibility that they roads will freeze overnight and a lovely sheet of ice will greet my car and I in the morning. Yucky.

MAC Viva Glam Gaga was my first MAC lipstick ever! I’m down to the very end of the tube now, and will be putting my name back on the waitlist for it at my local MAC. It is honestly the most magical thing on the lips – it brightens teeth, and makes one look like a 60s movie star. What’s not to love?

Gaga, hands down-even though I’m not a big fan of either of them and I do not hate eaither of them. But I feel that Gaga is more original and there’s more substance in her music-a least to my liking. And Bad romance is just one of the most awesome songs released recently. (but stylewise, I think I’d do with Katy… even though I’m not really a big fan of either the weeeeeird and the plastic candy style :D).

I’m a big fan of Gaga…I think she’s SO creative. She can be OTT, but she’s a stage performer so she’s allowed to exaggerate! And Gaga the lipstick….is SO my type of color. Would love to win 🙂
I’m 22 years old, 58kg, 160cm, and I’ve been told that I’m fat by almost everyone I know… It’s hard dealing with it because you try to balance your life with work, friends, study, and then gym. I just hope when I go back home for the holidays this year, everyone would just let it go… I really am trying.

I think Lady Gaga is extremely original. She goes out of her way to be different, but sometimes I think it’s too much, like her meat dress. Katy Perry does not get enough credit for her previous music like Thinking of You where she sings a beautiful ballad that shows off her talent. I think that they’re both good.
I love the lipstick color! It’s similar but much lighter than the Sonia Kashuk big lip pencil. I recommend that too because it’s like $7 and smells like vanilla : )

While I’m not a fan of Lady Gaga, I loved the concept of putting her next to Cyndi Lauper and to make them spokespersons for the VG campaign. And MAC has to be praised for their work with their AIDS foundation. I live in Greece and I recently read that they cooperated with the government and used all the money collected from the sales of the VG range since 2001 (when MAC first opened here) to fund a shelter and medical assistance center for people with AIDS. Having bought a few VG lippies myself, I felt so proud for having contributed to this!!
